Father I do sense in my spirit and believe that rhis increased spiritual warfare is sing of you moving too. Someone is being called maybe many, maybe even a wider awakening. Your plans are not fully revealed but I do sense spirit does move. So I aks you to touch people around me. And let them around me feel your presence. Vring my believing friends closer to you and unbeleiving friends to know you. Do same foe my family too. And you know her so bring her to you. The burden of praying over her is remaining and altough it is not rational I feel weird assurance and even comfort in it knowing she is in your hands Father. In Jesus name and blood I pray amen.

We join you in this sense of awakening and we agree with you that increased spiritual warfare is often a sign that God is moving. We do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. The weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds 2 Corinthians 10:4. When the enemy intensifies his opposition it is often because the Lord is drawing near to call, to convict, and to awaken.

We hear your heart for a wider awakening and we share that longing. The Scripture promises that God desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:4 and that in the last days God will pour out His Spirit on all flesh Acts 2:17. We also remember the promise if my people, who are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land 2 Chronicles 7:14. Your prayers for those around you are part of that humbling and seeking, and we encourage you to test what you sense in your spirit against the Word, for we are told to test the spirits whether they are of God 1 John 4:1, and to continue to trust that God will work all things together for good for those who love Him Romans 8:28 even when His plans are not yet fully revealed.

We lift up with you your believing friends that the Lord would draw them closer, that they would grow in grace and knowledge and bear fruit, and your unbelieving friends and family that the Lord would open their eyes and grant them repentance leading to life. We pray that those around you would indeed feel His presence, not as a fleeting feeling but as the conviction and comfort of the Holy Spirit who helps us in our weakness and intercedes for us Romans 8:26.

We especially join you in prayer for her whom you carry as a burden before the Father. We thank God that you bring her to Him and find assurance and comfort knowing she is in His hands, for we are to pray without ceasing 1 Thessalonians 5:17 and the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective James 5:16. If this burden is for a woman you love and hope to pursue, we encourage you to bring that desire fully under biblical principle. We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman and we encourage courtship that looks toward marriage to a fellow believer, for we are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers 2 Corinthians 6:14. Such a relationship is to be pursued in purity, honoring God with your bodies, for God will judge the sexually immoral Hebrews 13:4 and we are to flee sexual immorality and keep the marriage bed holy. Sex before or outside marriage is fornication or adultery and does not honor the Lord. If she is not yet a believer, our first prayer must be for her salvation, that she would know Jesus as Lord, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. We rejoice that you prayed in the name and blood of Jesus, for it is only through Him we have access to the Father.

So we pray together, Father we thank You that You are moving even when we cannot see the full picture. We ask You to pour out Your Spirit in awakening around our brother, upon his believing friends that they would hunger for Your Word and walk in holiness, upon his unbelieving friends and family that You would grant them repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, and upon her that You would draw her to Yourself, soften her heart, reveal Your love through the cross, and keep her in Your hands. Give him wisdom to intercede faithfully without leaning only on feelings, but anchored in Your Word, and if it is Your will for a future marriage, lead that courtship in purity, truth, and unity in Christ. Let all around him sense Your presence and give glory to You. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, trusting Your perfect timing and Your perfect will, amen.

We encourage you to remain faithful in this burden, to keep praying, to keep speaking the gospel gently and truthfully to those around you, and to rest in that strange assurance you feel, which is often the peace of God guarding your heart as you entrust her and all your loved ones to the Father who loves them even more than you do.

We appreciate you sharing what you are sensing right now. That combination of feeling the weight of spiritual opposition and at the same time feeling a quiet hope that God is moving is something many believers recognize, and it is understandable you would want to bring everyone around you before the Lord in that moment.

We hear your heart for your friends and family, for believing friends to be drawn closer and for those who don't yet know Him to come to know Him. And we hear the particular burden you carry for her. That sense of comfort you described, even when it doesn't feel rational, in knowing she is in the Father's hands, is a good place to rest. You can keep entrusting her to Him without having to figure out all of His plans at once.

It can help to not carry that praying alone. If you have a trusted pastor or a believing friend who knows you well, consider letting one person pray this with you regularly, so the burden stays before the Lord but you are supported too. Keep staying close to Him in your own prayer and fellowship as you wait to see how He works.

Father, thank You for the hunger for Your presence this brother is expressing. We ask You to draw near to him and to the people he has named, his friends and family, and to the young woman on his heart. Make Yourself known to each of them in the way You know is best, and keep him steady and hopeful as he trusts them to Your care. Give him wisdom and peace in the days ahead. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have heard your prayer and we join you in it, for it is God that writes intercession upon men's hearts and there is no power like that of intercession. The secret springs that move the affairs of men are often the prayers of God's believing people, and when a man has his heart set upon this blessed work it makes him quick to seize every opportunity to plead with God for others.

You speak of increased spiritual warfare and of sensing the Spirit's moving toward an awakening. We take this as a call to watch and pray the more earnestly. This spiritual death in which men lie is not merely a failure to recognize God but a deadness to His moral claims, and none can be quickened except He who said, you has He quickened who were dead in trespasses and sins, shall do it. To thirst for it, to pant for it, to long for it, is itself a sign of His working. We will pray with you that the Lord would pour out His Spirit upon those around you, that believing friends may be drawn closer to Christ and that unbelieving friends and family may be made to hear the voice of the Son of God and live. For the gospel we preach is still that salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and there is no other name by which sinners may be saved.

You mention also a burden to pray for her, and a strange assurance and comfort in leaving her in the Father's hands. We thank God for that burden, for the Holy Spirit helps our infirmities and makes intercession for us and for the saints when we know not what we should pray for as we ought. He creates prayers offered in a proper manner and He himself pleads within us. Continue to pursue her soul with persistent intercession while there is time and opportunity, committing her fully to the Lord. Our prayer for her is first and above all that she may know Christ and be found in Him, for His intercession is for His own and we must first be made saints to know His indwelling. If you love her, love her best by praying that she may become a friend of Jesus, for our Lord has said, You are my friends if you do whatever I command you. That patent of friendship goes with a certain character and cannot be otherwise obtained, and the intimacy between a soul and Christ is disturbed by sin. Therefore we pray that any affection or hope you carry would be brought under Christ's command and kept in purity, for marriage is ordained of God as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and that which belongs to marriage is to be kept within it. We do not ask God to bless what would run against His holy ethic, but we ask Him to make both of you obedient friends of Jesus, to keep you from strong resolutions made in your own strength which will be in vain, and to order your steps according to His perfect will.

Take comfort that she is in the Father's hands, yet take care to keep praying. Obscure persons confined to their beds have often been the means of saving hundreds by continual pleadings with God, and when we pray for fellow sinners we are in sympathy with our Divine Savior who made intercession for the transgressors. He ever lives to make intercession within the veil and exercises that priestly office continually. Be not weary in this work. The Lord turned again the captivity of Job when he prayed for his friends, and even where prayer does not avail for its precise object it has its results before God.

So we will pray that the Lord would grant a true awakening where you are, that He would quicken the dead, strengthen the feeble, and keep you faithful in supplication until the answer comes in His wisdom and mercy. May you be kept close to the mercy seat, showing yourself friendly to Christ by obedience, and may He who is the best of friends, a friend that loves at all times, be your comfort and hers, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
