Beloved of All
I wanted to share this tonight with all of you. As you all know I have a son named Austin, 9 with mild cerebral palsy, he is very mobile and extremely intelligent and has a Direct connection to the Lord. He was born at 29 weeks, he was on life support for the first 5 days of his life, and has came a LONG way THROUGH THE GRACE OF GOD!!I PRAISE THE LORD EVERYDAY!! He has health issues, including asthma, and I can't get him out too much in the cold winter nights, and I have just began being able to take him to church about a year ago..I have always told Austin all about the Lord, and that he is his child,The Lord just picked me to help him. One night a few years ago, I was watching Billy Graham on TV, he asked me what I was watching, I told him It's about the Lord..He said, can I watch too, I said of course. After a few moments I turned to him and said You know Austin, You can't see the Lord, but he is there, he is all around watching over you. I said you can't touch him, but you can feel him, He said I know Mom, he is like a super-hero flying all around us with huge wings, and I feel him in my Heart!!!!!!!!!What a True inspiration Austin is to me! Of course, that made me cry and gave me chill bumps all over. For the last 3 Christmas Eves we go to a church, any church, to celebrate Jesus Birthday with a candle light service..He just loves this, and Lord only knows how it feels my soul. Now, it is a tradition for us. Tonight as Austin and I went to have dinner with my sister that she offered to pay, afterwards we went to look at Christmas lights, playing Christmas Gospel songs along the way. We came to a church that was lit up beautifully, and there were cars in line at the entrance. I said Turn around let's go see what it is..We did,it was a free live nativity scenes path drive through, from the beginning to the end of Jesus Life. They gave us a CD to play, with the story of Jesus Birth, to the end,as we drove to each scene, with Live people and animals. Austin climbed to the front seat to get a better view. He loved it,as I cried the whole entire time. One the way home, he said to me, The North Star isn't really a star Mom, that lead them to Jesus, it was God Shining through From Heaven onto Jesus being born. I explained at first, Yes, God put the Star there to lead everyone, and I thought another minute..Austin, yes you are right..It was God Shining his Light !!! So, as we go through this season, as we celebrate Jesus Birth, let's all try to look at it from a child's point of view. What trust and faith children have in THE Good Lord. Jesus Is the Reason for the Season. Thank you God, for your son, Jesus. We love you!!
