Yesterday I clicked on a prayer request, read the statement, and was encouraged at the end to contact the poster via email. He suggested he had a fail-safe prayer for marriage restoration. I took the opportunity to email him, and he replied with the following. Please check the last paragraph—I am pondering why he would need such information just to pray? What are your thoughts?

Dearest Brother in the Lord,
May the peace of the almighty God be with you and your family in Jesus name. Before I proceed, I will like you to know these: World Rescue Evangelical Mission is a group of prayer warriors dedicated to the work of God and to rescue those that are in devil bondage through prayers. We preach the gospel through electronic media, e.g., internet, television, and radio. We also organize crusades. Our mission is to preach the kingdom of God, let people know there is power in prayer, with God all things are possible.
Thanks so much for your mail, which you want me to share the problem you have with your wife. I also thank God that you are a believer of Jesus Christ our Savior. I want you to believe, with God all things are possible. I stand here as an ordained man of God to tell you that your wife will come back to you. This is the word of God to you. I will also like you to know that destiny is God's original master plan for everyone; there is nobody who hasn’t a destiny. Destiny differs as individuals differ. Some are destined to succeed through trading, some through academics, some through politics, some through medical practices, some other through law, etc. People have all kinds of destiny, and destiny has different things in stock for different people, but no one is actually destined to be divorced, poor, or die young.
These are three curses caused by the devil through Adam's sin. The Bible says in John 1:2, "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in good health even as your soul prospers" (KJV). Also, in the book of Psalm 90:10, "The length of our days is seventy years, or if by reason of strength eighty years" (NIV). So you see that poverty, untimely death, and divorce, even though they exist, are not from God. They are nobody's destiny, but some people can fall victim to them as the devil sets their traps.
The Bible also says in the book of John 16:33, "I have told you these things that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble, but take heart; I have overcome the world." With these scriptures, it is very clear that none of us is destined to fail, but to win every circumstance. But the big question is why do some fail despite being destined to win? The answer is: Satan makes them fail despite being destined to win. And we must fight that Satan in prayer until he is completely defeated.
I am going to make a special prayer on your behalf so that God will restore your marriage. All I need from you is to send to me, your full name, your wife's full name, your telephone number, your photograph, and your wife's photograph. As soon as you send the required information to me, I will go into prayers, and in 2 days you will see the miracle of God in your life. Pray Psalm 51. I wait to receive the requested information. JESUS IS LORD.
