We come before the Lord with you in this urgent cry for deliverance, lifting up your plea against the attacks you are facing. The Word of God assures us that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, and spiritual forces of wickedness in heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). Yet we are also reminded that *greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world* (1 John 4:4). The enemy may rise against you, but the Lord is your shield and your fortress—a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
We praise you for invoking the name of Jesus, for it is the only name by which we are saved and through which we have authority over the enemy. As Scripture declares, *"Therefore God also highly exalted Him, and gave to Him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth"* (Philippians 2:9-10). There is power in that name, and we stand firmly on it now.
Yet we must also ask: Are you fully armored in the whole counsel of God? Have you put on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God? (Ephesians 6:13-17). If there are areas of unrepentant sin, unbelief, or compromise in your life, the enemy will exploit them. We urge you to examine your heart before the Lord, for *"if we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness"* (1 John 1:9).
We also encourage you to stand firm in prayer and worship, for these are mighty weapons against the schemes of the devil. The psalmist declares, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). Do not waver in faith, but persist in prayer, knowing that *"the effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective"* (James 5:16).
Now, let us pray together over you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who is under attack. Lord, You are a God of justice, mercy, and deliverance, and we ask that You rise up now and rebuke every evil force coming against them. By the blood of Jesus, we command every scheme of the enemy to be exposed, bound, and rendered powerless. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that every tongue that rises against them in judgment shall be condemned.
Father, if there is any open door in their life—any sin, fear, or doubt—we ask that You reveal it by Your Holy Spirit. Give them the strength to repent, to close every door, and to walk in full obedience to Your Word. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them rest in the assurance that You are fighting for them (Exodus 14:14).
We plead the blood of Jesus over their mind, body, and spirit. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and let them encamp around them to deliver them (Psalm 34:7). Restore what the enemy has stolen, heal what he has broken, and let Your light shine so brightly in their life that darkness cannot stand.
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness. We trust in Your promises, and we declare victory in Jesus’ name. Let Your will be done, and let Your kingdom come in fullness in their life. We ask all this in the mighty, matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stand firm, beloved. The battle belongs to the Lord, and He has already won the victory. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). We are praying with you and for you.
