We hear your distress and stand with you in prayer, lifting this mysterious affliction before the Lord. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:18-19, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." Though you may not understand the source of this attack, we know that God sees your suffering and is mighty to save.
First, we must address the spiritual reality of such afflictions. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." This battle you are facing is not merely physical, it is spiritual. We rebuke in the name of Jesus any spirit of infirmity, sickness, or oppression that has come against you without cause. The Word declares in Luke 10:19, "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you." We take authority over this attack in Jesus’ name and command it to cease.
We also encourage you to examine your life for any open doors that may have allowed this spiritual attack. Have you entertained fear, bitterness, unforgiveness, or sin that has not been confessed and repented of? James 5:16 says, "Confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." If there is unconfessed sin, we urge you to bring it before the Lord in repentance, for He is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9).
If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we must share with you the urgency of this decision. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you do not know Jesus, we invite you to surrender your life to Him today. Repent of your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and receive Him as Lord. This is the first and most critical step in walking in victory over spiritual attacks.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Deliverer. We lift up our dear brother/sister who is under this mysterious attack, and we ask for Your divine intervention. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too hard for You. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, this affliction is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We rebuke every spirit of infirmity, sickness, and oppression in Jesus’ name, and we command it to leave and never return.
Father, we ask that You would reveal the root of this attack. Show our brother/sister if there is any unconfessed sin, unforgiveness, or fear that has given the enemy a foothold. Give them the courage to repent and the strength to stand firm in Your truth. Surround them with Your angels, Lord, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7).
We pray for physical healing, Lord. Touch every part of their body that has been affected, and restore them to full health. Strengthen their faith, and help them to trust in You even when they do not understand. Remind them that You are their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they trust (Psalm 91:2).
If they do not yet know You, Lord, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself. Open their eyes to see their need for a Savior, and let them experience the love and grace that only comes through Jesus Christ. May they confess with their mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in their heart that You raised Him from the dead, so that they may be saved (Romans 10:9).
We thank You, Father, for Your faithfulness and for the victory we have in Jesus. We declare that this attack is broken, and our brother/sister is set free. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to stand firm in your faith, dear one. Put on the full armor of God daily (Ephesians 6:10-18) and resist the devil, knowing that he will flee from you (James 4:7). Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you and encourage you. Speak the Word of God over your life and declare your healing, for the Word does not return void (Isaiah 55:11). You are not alone in this battle, God is with you, and we are standing with you in prayer.
