We hear the pain and confusion in your words, and we stand with you before the throne of grace, lifting this burden to the Lord. The Bible tells us in Psalm 34:19, "Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all." Even when attacks come without reason, we know that God sees, God knows, and God is our defender.
First, we must address the spiritual reality of your words. The enemy, Satan, comes only to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), and he often targets the body, mind, and spirit of believers. But we do not fight against flesh and blood, our struggle is against spiritual forces of wickedness (Ephesians 6:12). This means the attacks you’re experiencing may not be random; they could be a spiritual assault meant to weaken your faith, your witness, or your trust in God.
If you have not already, we urge you to examine your heart before the Lord. Are there areas where sin has taken root, unconfessed bitterness, unforgiveness, or compromise, that could be giving the enemy a foothold? Scripture warns us in 1 Peter 5:8, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." We are not saying this to condemn you, but to encourage you to stand firm in repentance and faith.
We also want to gently ask: Have you placed your trust fully in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so today. Without Christ, we are defenseless against the schemes of the enemy. But in Him, we have authority to resist the devil, and he will flee (James 4:7).
Now, let us pray for you:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up our dear brother/sister who is under attack, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask You to rebuke every spirit of affliction, infirmity, and oppression that is coming against their body. We plead the blood of Jesus over them, over their mind, their health, their spirit, and their circumstances.
Father, we ask You to reveal any open doors in their life that the enemy may be exploiting. Give them the courage to repent, to forgive, and to walk in holiness before You. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and let them feel Your presence in a tangible way. Remind them that You are their healer (Exodus 15:26) and that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
We command every attack to cease in Jesus’ name. We declare that this child of God is covered by the blood of the Lamb, and no harm shall come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let them rest in the knowledge that You are fighting for them.
Lord, if there is any area where they have not fully surrendered to You, we ask that Your Holy Spirit would draw them closer. Let them know the power of Your name and the authority they have in Christ. We thank You for victory, for deliverance, and for Your faithfulness. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen."
We also encourage you to:
1. Stand on God’s Word, Speak Scripture over your situation daily. Declare verses like Psalm 91, Isaiah 54:17, and 1 John 4:4.
2. Seek Godly Community, Surround yourself with believers who can pray with you, encourage you, and hold you accountable.
3. Examine Your Life, Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal any areas of sin or compromise. Repent and turn away from anything that grieves God.
4. Use Your Authority in Christ, You have the power to resist the devil (James 4:7). Command every attack to stop in Jesus’ name.
5. Trust God’s Sovereignty, Even when attacks make no sense, God is working all things for your good (Romans 8:28).
Do not lose heart. The battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you the victory. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2). We stand with you in prayer and faith, believing that God will turn this trial into a testimony.

Your cry concerning this senseless attack upon your body has been heard and has been carried before the Lord in prayer, for it is indeed grievous to suffer in your body without cause or reason.
We are moved with compassion for you, for the body is not despised by our God. He made it, He redeemed it, and He will raise it. As the Scripture says, there shall be a resurrection both of the just and the unjust, and our Lord cares for the bodies as well as the souls of His people. He who formed you knows your frame and He sees every affliction that comes upon you, even when it seems to have no reason in the eyes of men.
We would point you to Jesus Christ, the great Physician of souls and bodies. In Him there is an abundance of healing power, for the Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings. Pardon and healing are placed in happy conjunction in Him. When He said to the palsied man, Thy sins are forgiven thee, He showed that forgiveness and healing flow from the same gracious hand. The very leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ has virtue to restore and make whole.
Therefore we entreat you to trust Him, and only trust Him. Do not trust your feelings nor wait for a certain frame of mind, but trust His word and His power now, just as you are. As you go to Him in faith, healing comes. He must lay His hand upon you and lift you up, for healing must come before serving, and His touch alone can make the fever depart.
Let us pray for you now. O Lord our God, look upon this suffering one whose body is attacked without cause. Thou seest the pain and the perplexity that comes with affliction that seems without reason. We ask Thee to lay Thy healing hand upon this body. Grant protection from every unjust assault, whether of man or of infirmity, and let Thy preserving care be felt. Forgive sin through the blood of Jesus Christ alone, for there is salvation in no other, and then grant healing as Thou seest best. Give peace to the troubled mind, give rest to the weary frame, and teach this dear one to trust wholly in Jesus, who is able to save and to keep all who trust Him. Draw near to this soul, and let it be found good to draw near to Thee.

Your pain and confusion have been heard, and it is understandable to say that it makes no sense to be attacked without cause. When the body suffers or when we feel set upon for no reason, the soul is troubled and the mind becomes clouded, and it is hard to see clearly.
Scripture does not teach that God attacks you without reason or delights in senseless harm. We live in a fallen world where sickness, malice, and spiritual opposition are real, and there are tumults and distresses that the Lord foretold would come. Yet none of those things overturn His promises, and none of them separate us from His care. He is not distant from bodily suffering. Christ took on our flesh and knows our infirmity, and as a compassionate high priest He has compassion on those who are afflicted and weary.
You are not meant to bear this alone or to remain isolated with these thoughts. When we are alone and cast down we are more vulnerable to confusion and to the assaults of the enemy, which is why God has given us the church and the fellowship of other believers to stand together, to pray together, and to bear one another's burdens. Bring this burden into the light with a trusted pastor, a mature believer, a counselor, or a medical professional who can care for you personally and help discern what is happening in your body and in your spirit.
God invites you to call upon Him directly. He says to loose what is unjust, to do what is merciful and right, and then to call upon Him with the promise that while you are yet speaking He will answer, Lo, here I am. That calling is not a formula but a turning of the heart to Him in honesty, asking for His light to break forth, for healing according to His will, for protection from evil, and for peace that steadies the mind.
I will pray for you now. Father in heaven, through Jesus Christ Your Son who alone is our salvation and our hope, look with mercy upon this one who feels attacked in the body and troubled without understanding. Grant clarity where there is confusion, peace where there is fear, and healing where there is affliction. Guard this life from all harm and from the schemes of the enemy, surround this person with faithful help and wise counsel, and let Your presence be known as near and faithful. Lead toward whatever practical help and care is needed and give strength to seek it. May Your will be done and Your name be trusted even in this trial. Amen.

It is understandable to feel confused and even shaken when your body is suffering and there seems to be no reason for it. When pain or attack comes without explanation it can feel senseless, but Scripture shows that God sees your affliction and does not treat it as meaningless.
The Bible is honest that faithful people do suffer in their bodies. Prophets and apostles knew persecution and physical weakness, and Paul himself spoke of bearing in his body the marks of hardship for the sake of Christ. He also prayed three times for a painful thorn to be removed, and God did not remove it, but answered him with grace and purpose instead. That reminds us that we cannot presume God will heal in every case in the way and timing we ask, even as we keep asking.
At the same time Scripture gives strong ground for faith for healing. Isaiah spoke of the coming Servant bearing our sicknesses and sorrows, and Matthew under the guidance of the Holy Spirit applies that prophecy directly to Jesus healing the sick, showing that His suffering was for our physical brokenness as well as for our sin. When Jesus broke bread and said this is my body broken for you, He was pointing to that same provision. Healing is part of what He carried for us, and we are right to bring our bodies to Him in prayer.
Healing in the life of Jesus and in the early church took different forms. Sometimes it was immediate, sometimes it was gradual, as when Jesus prayed a second time for a blind man before his sight was fully clear. Often God works through the natural processes He created in our bodies, and that process is still His work. Sometimes He works in an instant. We do not always understand why one person is healed quickly and another is not, but we can trust that God is sovereign and loving in either case. The gifts of healing are real, yet Scripture teaches that not everyone has the same gift, just as the body has many members with different functions. The pattern given to us is to pray, to ask others to pray with us, and to invite the elders to pray over the sick in the name of the Lord.
There is also a close connection between the health of the soul and the health of the body. One proverb says a joyful heart is good like medicine, and we now know how deeply worry, fear and sorrow can affect us physically. That does not mean your pain is your fault, but it is an encouragement to care for your inner life as well as your body, bringing your anxiety and weariness honestly to the Lord, filling your mind with His promises, and letting thanksgiving and praise have a place even in affliction. Scripture often ends prayers for deliverance with a call to thank God for His goodness.
Paul calls our present hardships light and momentary when compared to the eternal weight of glory God is preparing. That does not minimize how long an hour of pain can feel, but it lifts our eyes beyond this moment. This affliction will pass, and God is using even this time to shape endurance and hope.
So keep crying out to Him. Ask Him for healing, ask Him for wisdom for any help you need, and ask trusted believers to pray with you. Tell Him plainly that you do not understand why this is happening, and ask Him to show you His presence and purpose in it. He hears those who call on Him, and He is able to heal, to sustain, and to bring good even through suffering that now seems to have no reason.

That does not mean your pain is your fault, but it is an encouragement to care for your inner life as well as your body, bringing your anxiety and weariness honestly to the Lord, filling your mind with His promises, and letting thanksgiving and praise have a place even in affliction. Scripture often ends prayers for deliverance with a call to thank God for His goodness.
Paul calls our present hardships light and momentary when compared to the eternal weight of glory God is preparing. That does not minimize how long an hour of pain can feel, but it lifts our eyes beyond this moment. This affliction will pass, and God is using even this time to shape endurance and hope.
So keep crying out to Him. Ask Him for healing, ask Him for wisdom for any help you need, and ask trusted believers to pray with you. Tell Him plainly that you do not understand why this is happening, and ask Him to show you His presence and purpose in it. He hears those who call on Him, and He is able to heal, to sustain, and to bring good even through suffering that now seems to have no reason.
Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer concerning the attacks on your body that feel so senseless and without reason. We understand how confusing and discouraging it must be to endure physical affliction when there seems to be no cause or purpose and we have continued to lift you before the Lord asking for His protection healing and peace.
We pray that God would touch your body and bring restoration and that He would guard you from any further harm for His Word reminds us that no weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper in Isaiah 54:17 and that He is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart in Psalm 34:18.
