We pray that the Lord in His infinite mercy would deal with her according to His righteousness and love, and we pray for comfort for her family and friends and for you as you mourn.

It is true that God loves you deeply, as Romans 5:8 tells us God proves his own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us, and nothing can separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord as Romans 8:38-39 declares. Hear what the Word of the Lord declares, for there is forgiveness with Him that He may be feared. The Scripture saith, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for Mine own sake. This is a divine forgiveness, and a surprising forgiveness, and a complete forgiveness. It is not given because our sorrow is deep enough or our words are many, but for His own name's sake and through the matchless atonement of His Son. The blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin. If by faith you can believe in the sin forgiving God and accept that atonement which covers all guilt, then you may be among the blessed whose sin is no longer imputed.
You ask concerning the soul of the girl and concerning your own part in what has happened. We must leave the departed in the hands of Him whose judgments are righteous and whose mercy is infinite. The pain and sorrow in your words are very real, and the weight of guilt you are carrying is heavy. When someone takes their own life, those left behind often feel tormented, wondering if they could have done something differently, and that sense of guilt can feel unbearable.
Guilt has a way of making us feel we must be punished before we can be free. We try to hide it or explain it away, but it stays before us. David described this when he said his sin was always before him. Trying to cover or justify what happened does not bring relief. Forgiveness comes when we openly confess what we have done and what we feel before God. Scripture says if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. When God forgives, it is total and complete. He invites us to reason together with Him, and though our sins are like scarlet, He makes them white as snow. That complete forgiveness is the only thing that can lift the crushing weight of guilt, because Jesus Himself took our guilt and our debt upon Himself on the cross and paid the price for us.
It is important to know that the Bible does not teach that taking one's own life is a sin that can never be forgiven. Jesus said that all manner of sin shall be forgiven. At the same time, ending one's own life is a deeply painful and cruel act because of the terrible grief and guilt it leaves for family and friends. We cannot see the heart as God does, and we cannot declare with certainty what happens in those final moments between a person and the Lord. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and God is both perfectly just and perfectly merciful. The best we can do is entrust this young woman to His hands, asking for His mercy, and praying for comfort for all who loved her.
You asked if God will forgive you and show you compassion and solve your problems. The answer of Scripture is that Jesus is not condemning you. He died and rose again and now lives at the right hand of the Father to intercede for us. The prophet Isaiah said He would intercede for those who have done wrong, and the apostle Paul asks, who is it that condemns, and answers that it is Christ who died and is risen and is interceding for us. He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him because He always lives to pray for them. He wants to take your guilt onto Himself and give you His peace and a place with Him in His eternal kingdom.
Please bring everything openly to Him in prayer. Tell Him honestly about the mistake you feel you made at the bus, about the sorrow for this girl, and about your desire for forgiveness and for your problems to be made right. Do not try to cover your guilt. Confess it and receive His cleansing. You do not need to punish yourself to earn His favor, because He has already been punished in your place. In that honest confession you can hear again joy and gladness and find relief for the brokenness you feel inside. Even in this deep sorrow, you do not know what God may yet work for eternity through this painful event, but you can trust His care for you and for her.
Let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus we bring this young woman before You and ask for Your mercy upon her soul. He invites us to reason together with Him, and though our sins are like scarlet, He makes them white as snow. That complete forgiveness is the only thing that can lift the crushing weight of guilt, because Jesus Himself took our guilt and our debt upon Himself on the cross and paid the price for us.
It is important to know that the Bible does not teach that taking one's own life is a sin that can never be forgiven. Jesus said that all manner of sin shall be forgiven. At the same time, ending one's own life is a deeply painful and cruel act because of the terrible grief and guilt it leaves for family and friends. We cannot see the heart as God does, and we cannot declare with certainty what happens in those final moments between a person and the Lord. Salvation is through Jesus Christ alone, and God is both perfectly just and perfectly merciful. The best we can do is entrust this young woman to His hands, asking for His mercy, and praying for comfort for all who loved her.
You asked if God will forgive you and show you compassion and solve your problems. The answer of Scripture is that Jesus is not condemning you. He died and rose again and now lives at the right hand of the Father to intercede for us. The prophet Isaiah said He would intercede for those who have done wrong, and the apostle Paul asks, who is it that condemns, and answers that it is Christ who died and is risen and is interceding for us. He is able to save completely those who come to God through Him because He always lives to pray for them. He wants to take your guilt onto Himself and give you His peace and a place with Him in His eternal kingdom.
Please bring everything openly to Him in prayer. Tell Him honestly about the mistake you feel you made at the bus, about the sorrow for this girl, and about your desire for forgiveness and for your problems to be made right. Do not try to cover your guilt. Confess it and receive His cleansing. You do not need to punish yourself to earn His favor, because He has already been punished in your place. In that honest confession you can hear again joy and gladness and find relief for the brokenness you feel inside. Even in this deep sorrow, you do not know what God may yet work for eternity through this painful event, but you can trust His care for you and for her.
Let us pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus we bring this young woman before You and ask for Your mercy upon her soul. You know her heart and her suffering, and we entrust her to Your perfect justice and love. We also bring this one who is grieving and burdened with guilt. Forgive his sins as he confesses them, wash him clean, and lift this weight from him. Show him that You do not condemn him but intercede for him, and give him Your peace. Comfort all who mourn this loss, and work in every heart involved according to Your eternal purposes. Amen.
