Beloved of All
Your pain and distress come through very clearly, and I want you to know that God sees what you are going through. Even when God asked Cain where his brother was, it was not because He did not know. He knew. He heard the blood crying from the ground and He declared the truth. He sees you now, He knows the excruciating pain in your back, the headaches and migraines, the way your body feels worn down and disfigured, and the fear that something evil is being directed against you at work and in your body. Nothing is hidden from Him.
The Bible is clear that evil spirits are real, but it is also clear that they are limited and under God's authority. There is a place of confinement for them and a final place of judgment that Jesus described as outer darkness. Even in the visions of judgment where demonic torment is released for a time, that time is limited to months and bounded by God. They cannot do more than He permits. Satan would like to defeat people from the outside with affliction and accusation, and when that does not work he tries to wreck them from the inside with discouragement, fear, and distraction. One of his most effective tactics is simply to get you so focused on defending yourself against every attack and every strange thought that you are distracted from your true purpose of walking with and serving the Lord.
Jesus has shown His power in every realm. He healed the leper, the servant of the centurion, the mother of Peter, and multitudes who were sick and oppressed. He calmed the wind and the sea with a word, and the evil spirits obeyed His command and had to leave. They are not satisfied without a dwelling, and when one leaves, if that house is left empty and swept clean but not filled, the condition becomes worse. The answer is not to stay empty and afraid, but to be filled with Christ, with His Word, His Spirit, and His presence. That is your protection.
It is not good to try to understand or dabble in dark practices to figure out how they work. Scripture says to be wise about what is good and simple concerning evil. You do not need to trace tunnels or portals or try to map the spiritual realm. You need to submit yourself to God, resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Put on what Ephesians calls the armor of God, stay in prayer, stay in the Word, and stay in fellowship with other believers, because we are one body and we protect and strengthen one another.
Your body is groaning, and that is a real biblical image. Paul said we who are in this body groan, desiring to be delivered from this prison of pain and weakness. God is compassionate toward that groaning and He is the one who heals. He delivered His people from bondage in Egypt in a momentous act they were to remember, and He still delivers today. I will pray for your physical healing, for your back to be strengthened, for your posture to be restored, for the migraines to cease, and for the deep distress about your appearance to be lifted. Because the pain is so severe and ongoing, please also seek wise medical care. God often brings healing through doctors and treatment, and getting an evaluation for your back and headaches is an important step of stewardship of your body. Continue to use what helps you under medical guidance, but place your ultimate trust in the Lord who made your body.
God is also patient and loving. Though people wander far, He says return to Me. He brings us back even to the place of failure and says we can start again from there. He does not abandon you to be a fugitive or to live in fear that you will be hunted down. If there is any bitterness or fear taking root, bring it honestly to Him in confession and ask Him to fill that place with His peace. And regarding justice, Scripture teaches that vengeance belongs to the Lord. It is right to ask God to stop evil, to protect the vulnerable, and to bring His righteous judgment in His way and time, but we leave the execution of that judgment to Him. Instead of calling down personal curses, we ask God to restrain evil, to protect you and others from being harmed, and to bring even those who do evil to repentance if they will turn.
I am praying for you, for your mother, for your three children, and for your household including your pets, that the Lord would place a hedge of protection around you. I pray that every assignment of the enemy against your body, your mind, your confidence, and your work would be broken by the blood of Jesus, and that you would not be made to feel old or worthless or empty. You are not what pain or fear says you are. You are made in God's image and, if you are in Christ, you are His child.
May the Lord touch your back and bring relief, calm your nervous system, lift the headaches, restore your sleep and strength, and renew your confidence not in yourself but in Him. May He fill your home with His light so there is no empty place for the enemy to return to, and may He give you grace to keep your eyes on Jesus rather than on the distraction of the attacks. May He guard your heart from fear and give you clear wisdom for each work day, and may you know His nearness and His power to deliver in Jesus name, amen.
