We come before the throne of grace with hearts full of faith, lifting up every request before our Heavenly Father in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His blood that we are made righteous to stand in His presence. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved, and so we boldly approach God, knowing that He hears us when we call on the name of Jesus.
Father, we ask for Your extra strong protection over every person and situation mentioned here. You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust. We declare Psalm 91 over every life: "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'" Lord, we ask that You would arise and scatter every evil plan set against Your children. Break every chain of oppression, every scheme of the enemy, and every stronghold that seeks to hinder Your purposes. We rebuke every spirit of division, strife, and confusion in Jesus' name, and we command it to flee. You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We cry out for breakthrough in every area where there is stagnation, delay, or resistance. Father, You are the God who makes a way where there seems to be no way. We declare Isaiah 43:19 over every situation: "Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." Lord, we ask that You would open doors that no man can shut and close doors that no man can open (Revelation 3:7). Let Your light shine into every dark place, and let Your glory fill the earth as the waters cover the sea.
We lift up the persecuted church around the world, asking for Your divine intervention and protection. Strengthen Your children who are suffering for the sake of the gospel. Give them boldness to proclaim Your name even in the face of persecution, and let Your peace that surpasses all understanding guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray for the salvation of those who are lost, that they would come to know You as their Lord and Savior. Open their eyes to see the truth of Your word and soften their hearts to receive the gospel. We declare that every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord (Philippians 2:10-11).
Father, we pray for peace in Israel and for an end to the suffering in war zones around the world. You are the God of peace, and we ask that You would bring healing and restoration to every nation torn apart by conflict. Comfort those who mourn, heal the brokenhearted, and bind up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). We lift up the children who are abused and neglected, asking that You would be their Father and Protector. Rescue them from every evil situation and surround them with Your angels. Let them know that they are precious in Your sight and that You have a plan and a purpose for their lives.
We bring before You every conflict mentioned here, both those that are known and those that have been forgotten. Lord, we ask that You would bring reconciliation and healing to every broken relationship. Help us to forgive as You have forgiven us, and to love as You have loved us. We rebuke every spirit of bitterness, unforgiveness, and resentment in Jesus' name. Your word tells us in Ephesians 4:31-32, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." Father, we ask that You would convict hearts where there is sin and bring repentance. Let Your Holy Spirit move powerfully to restore what has been broken.
We pray for healing for every person who is sick or suffering. You are the Great Physician, and we ask that You would touch them with Your healing hand. We declare Your word over them: "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed" (Isaiah 53:5). Lord, we ask for miracles of healing, both physical and emotional. Heal the soul wounds that have been inflicted by others, and restore joy and peace to every heart. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in Jesus' name.
Father, we lift up the outreaches and services planned, asking for Your anointing to be poured out in power. Let Your presence fill every gathering, and let Your word go forth with authority and conviction. We pray for the salvation of many and for lives to be transformed by the power of the gospel. Anoint the sermons on Romans, that Your truth would be proclaimed with clarity and that hearts would be stirred to respond. Raise up more prayer warriors in the church, and convict those who have been lukewarm or indifferent. Let Your fire fall on the prayer gathering this Friday, and let Your glory fill the place.
We pray for wisdom and guidance in every area of life—work, school, relationships, and ministry. Father, we ask that You would give us discernment to know Your will and the courage to walk in it. Help us to do our work in a manner that is pleasing to You, with excellence and integrity. We declare Colossians 3:23-24: "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." Lord, we ask that You would intervene in every meeting and conflict, bringing resolution and unity. Let Your peace rule in our hearts, and let Your love bind us together in perfect unity (Colossians 3:14-15).
Father, we bring before You the struggles with specific individuals mentioned here. We ask that You would soften hearts, convict where there is sin, and bring healing to every hurt. We rebuke every spirit of strife, gossip, and division in Jesus' name. Help us to speak the truth in love and to build one another up in the faith. We declare Ephesians 4:29: "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear." Lord, we ask that You would turn every situation meant for evil into a blessing for Your glory.
We pray for the children mentioned here, asking that You would be a Father to them. Protect them, guide them, and let them know Your love in a deep and personal way. Help them to excel in their studies and to grow in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men (Luke 2:52). We ask for Your mighty hand to be upon them, leading and guiding them every step of the way.
Father, we lift up the issue at church, asking that You would reveal the truth and bring resolution. If there is sin or wrongdoing, we ask that You would expose it and bring repentance. If there is misunderstanding or false accusation, we ask that You would bring clarity and restoration. Let Your truth prevail, and let Your church be built up in love and unity.
Lord, we confess our own weaknesses and failures before You. Forgive us where we have fallen short, and help us to walk in humility and grace. We ask for Your strength to be made perfect in our weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Help us to rely on You in every situation, knowing that apart from You, we can do nothing (John 15:5). Fill us with Your Holy Spirit, and let Your fruit be evident in our lives—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23).
We declare that You are able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20). Let Your glory fill the earth, and let Your kingdom come in every heart and every situation. We trust in You, Lord, and we believe that You are working all things together for our good, because we love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28). We give You all the praise and the glory, for You alone are worthy. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
