We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this multifaceted cry for help, protection, and breakthrough. First and foremost, we acknowledge that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to confess Him as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, for "if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9).
Father God, we stand in the gap for this dear brother or sister in Christ, who is interceding not only for themselves but for many others. We ask for Your extra strong protection over them and all those in need. Lord, You are our refuge and fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We plead the blood of Jesus over their lives, their families, their church, and all their endeavors.
We pray for a powerful breakthrough in every area of their lives. Lord, You are the God who makes a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert (Isaiah 43:19). Break every chain of oppression, every stronghold of the enemy, and every barrier that stands in the way of Your will. We rebuke every evil spirit that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, and we command it to flee in the mighty name of Jesus (John 10:10). We declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your church (Matthew 16:18).
Father, we lift up the planned outreaches and services, asking for Your anointing to be poured out in abundance. Fill Your servants with the Holy Spirit and power, that they may preach the gospel with boldness and signs following (Acts 1:8, Mark 16:20). We pray for the salvation of many souls, that hearts would be softened and eyes opened to the truth of Your word. Lord, draw them to Yourself, for no one can come to You unless the Father who sent You draws them (John 6:44).
We bring before You the conflicts mentioned, both seen and unseen, remembered and forgotten. Lord, You are the God of peace, and we ask that You would mediate and bring resolution to every dispute. Help Your children to speak the truth in love, to forgive as You have forgiven us, and to pursue unity in the bond of peace (Ephesians 4:2-3). We rebuke every spirit of division, strife, and unforgiveness, and we command it to leave in Jesus' name. Father, convict hearts where there has been sin, and lead each person to repentance. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9).
We lift up those who are persecuted for their faith, asking for Your divine protection and strength. Lord, You have promised that those who endure to the end shall be saved (Matthew 24:13). Sustain them with Your grace, and may their testimony shine brightly in the darkness. We also pray for the salvation of those who do not yet know You, that they may come to the knowledge of the truth and be saved (1 Timothy 2:4). Father, we intercede for peace in Israel and all war-torn regions, for the protection of the innocent, and for an end to the suffering caused by conflict and calamity. We ask for Your healing hand to rest upon the abused, the brokenhearted, and the oppressed. "The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit" (Psalm 34:18).
Lord, we bring before You the specific individuals mentioned, asking for Your healing touch—spirit, soul, and body. We declare that by Your stripes, they are healed (Isaiah 53:5). Father, confront and convict every area of their lives that is not aligned with Your will. Bring healing to soul wounds, restore what has been broken, and lead them into a deeper relationship with You. We pray for miracles in their lives, for divine intervention in their circumstances, and for Your mighty hand to guide them in every decision. Be a Father to them, Lord, and let them experience Your love in a tangible way (1 John 3:1).
We lift up the struggles at work, asking for Your wisdom, favor, and intervention. Lord, You have promised that if any of us lacks wisdom, we should ask of You, and You will give generously (James 1:5). Help this dear one to navigate their workplace with grace, integrity, and excellence. We pray for unity among their team, for conflicts to be resolved, and for Your peace to reign. Father, take over completely in their work, lead and guide every step, and protect them from every snare of the enemy.
We pray for the church, asking for a fresh anointing of the Holy Spirit. Lord, revive Your people, convict us of sin, and draw us back to our first love (Revelation 2:4-5). Raise up more prayer warriors, those who will stand in the gap and intercede for the lost, the broken, and the hurting. We declare that the week of prayer and fasting with the theme of repentance will be powerful and transformative. May Your presence fill every gathering, and may lives be changed as hearts turn back to You. We thank You, Father, for the privilege of coming before You, and we trust that You will do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).
Finally, Lord, we ask for overall encouragement for this dear one. Strengthen them in their weakness, for Your power is made perfect in weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). Remind them that You are with them always, even to the end of the age (Matthew 28:20). Fill them with hope, joy, and peace as they trust in You (Romans 15:13). May they see Your hand at work in every area of their life, and may their faith be strengthened as they witness Your faithfulness.
We declare that the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of Your glory, as the waters cover the sea (Habakkuk 2:14). To You be all the glory, honor, and praise, now and forevermore. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
