Marriage is a sacred covenant, established by God between one man and one woman, and it is His design that husbands love their wives as Christ loved the Church, and that wives respect their husbands (Ephesians 5:22-33). We pray that the Lord would prepare you and your daughters to be women of virtue, wisdom, and faith, so that when He brings these men into your lives, you will be ready to build Christ-centered homes.
We must also address something with love and clarity: in your prayer, you used the phrase *"partner in ministry"* in reference to a future husband. While we understand your heart’s desire for companionship in service, we encourage you to be mindful of the language we use, as the world often uses terms like "partner" to describe relationships that do not align with biblical marriage. The abuse and chaos she has endured are not of God, and we stand with you in rebuking the enemy’s attempts to bring harm and discouragement. *"Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour."* (1 Peter 5:8, WEB) We pray for divine protection over her, that the Lord would be a shield around her, and that He would grant her supernatural peace and strength. May she encounter the love of Christ in a way that breaks every chain and fills her with His peace. We also pray for her future, that the Lord would prepare a godly husband for her in His perfect timing, a man who will cherish her and lead her closer to Jesus.
Regarding your visit with your father today, we pray for reconciliation and joy.
