Asking prayers on the behalf of the ###

Kensem

Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus' name based on this verse.
Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the landlord (ex) on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.
Amen

We stand together in agreement, lifting up this request in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. The verse you shared from Luke 9:24 is a powerful reminder of the call to surrender our lives fully to Christ, for it is only in losing our lives for His sake that we truly find them. "For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it." This truth applies not only to salvation but to every aspect of our lives, including the hearts of those around us, such as this landlord.

We recognize that the battle for souls is real, and the enemy seeks to keep people in darkness, bound by sin and separated from the love of Christ. But we declare that the light of Jesus Christ is greater than any darkness. As it is written in John 1:5, "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness hasn’t overcome it." We rebuke every unclean spirit that may be influencing this situation and command it to flee in the name of Jesus. The landlord’s heart is not beyond the reach of God’s grace, and we pray that the Holy Spirit would move powerfully to draw him to repentance and faith in Christ.

We also lift up the apartment situation, asking the Lord to intervene with His healing power. Whether there are spiritual strongholds, financial struggles, or relational tensions, we declare that God’s power is greater. Psalm 118:6 reminds us, "Yahweh is on my side. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?" We stand on this promise, trusting that God will work all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. We thank You for Your love, mercy, and faithfulness, which endure forever. Lord, we lift up this landlord to You, asking that You would open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Soften his heart, Lord, and let him see his need for a Savior. We pray that he would surrender his life to You, losing himself in Your love and finding true life in Christ. Break every chain of darkness that may be blinding him, and let Your light shine brightly in his heart.

Father, we also pray for the apartment situation. We ask that You would bring peace, resolution, and healing to any conflicts or struggles surrounding it. Provide wisdom and favor for all involved, and let Your will be done in this matter. We declare that no weapon formed against Your people will prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment will be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). We trust in Your mighty power to work all things for good.

Lord, we thank You for Your greatness and Your power, which are unmatched. We ask for Your mercy and grace to be poured out in this situation, and we trust that You will be glorified through it. May Your name be praised, and may many come to know You as a result of Your work here. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue standing in faith, trusting that God is at work even when we cannot see it. Pray without ceasing, and remember that the battle belongs to the Lord. As Ephesians 6:12 reminds us, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), and trust that He will bring about His perfect will in this situation.

We join you in praying for this landlord, and we are moved by how you are entrusting his eternal soul to God. It is no small thing to look past a business relationship and see a man who needs Jesus, the very One who gave His life so that others might find it. That kind of prayer is steady and beautiful.

While we pray, we also want to encourage you in the quieter, consistent witness you likely already carry. You are the person who knows the situation on the ground, and sometimes our prayers find their legs through simple, faithful presence over time. As you interact, whether in conversations about the apartment, a holiday greeting, or even in navigating a disagreement, your steady integrity becomes a living echo of the very verse you shared. Loving those who hold influence over our daily lives is a real and sometimes costly way to lose our own pride and comfort.

Perhaps in the coming weeks you might simply look for one natural opening to express genuine care for this landlord as a person, not as a project. A kind word about something he values, or a quiet offer to pray for a burden he mentions, can plant a seed in soil that only God can water. We do not press for dramatic moments, but we trust the slow, merciful work of Christ, who is far more patient than we are.

Let's pray together:

Lord Jesus, we lift up this landlord to You. You see his life clearly, the path he has walked and the burdens he carries. We do not ask for a spectacle, but for a genuine meeting with Your steadfast love, that he would come to see You as his true refuge and surrender his story into Your hands. Grant wisdom and kindness to the one praying as they live out the gospel before him. In Your name we ask this, Jesus. Amen.

The cry of your heart for this man’s soul echoes the very heartbeat of Scripture. You plead the promise that to lose his life for Christ’s sake is truly to find it, and what a mercy it is that you have set this poor landlord before the throne of grace! The sinner who clings to his own way, to his property and his pride, is clutching a shadow that must dissolve into eternal ruin. But when the Holy Spirit breaks in with regenerating power, He opens blind eyes to see that all we hold dear is but loss compared to the excellency of Christ. What the world calls living is but a painted death, while true life is hid with Christ in God. To know Him, this is life eternal, not a mere endless existence but the very life of God in the soul, beginning here in the new birth and ripening into glory. Without Christ, this man remains in the region of death, shut up under sin, and all his respectability will profit him nothing in that day when the books are opened. But with Christ, he would possess a life that no decree of hell or frailty of flesh can touch; it is guaranteed by the immutability of the One who is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Let your faith take hold of this: it is in the power of Christ to give this eternal life. He who reigns over all flesh can stoop to this one soul and quicken it. Your prayer is not a vain wish cast upon the wind; it ascends to a High Priest who ever lives to intercede, a Savior able to save to the uttermost. The darkness that now holds this landlord’s mind is no barrier to the light that shone out of nothing at creation’s dawn. Christ’s light expels all darkness, and His voice wakes the dead. Imagine the transformation if this man were brought to confess Christ openly! Where now there may be hardness or indifference, the love of Christ would be shed abroad, and the life of Jesus made manifest in his mortal flesh. He would learn that being a Christian is not a matter of prudence or mere morality but a personal union with the crucified and risen Lord, a life drawn moment by moment from the Vine. We cannot reason him into the kingdom, nor can duty reform his nature; he must be born from above. Yet we may boldly ask and expect great things, for our God delights to answer the prayer that pleads His own Word and rests on the name of His Son.

Be not dismayed by any present stubbornness, for Christ Jesus is the same mighty to save as when He called Zacchaeus from the sycamore tree or turned Saul’s blaspheming heart into a fountain of praise. The very fact that you have been stirred to intercede is a token for good. Lay hold of the promise that those who come to Him He will in no wise cast out. Declare before the throne that this landlord’s life is forfeit unless Jesus becomes his life. Plead the blood that cleanses from all sin, and trust that the eternal life which knows no ending can enter his soul even now, translating him from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of God’s dear Son. What joy it will be if that man, once a stranger to grace, should one day testify that he lost his life to find it, exchanged his worthless righteousness for the righteousness of Christ, and entered into that rest which remains for the people of God. The Lord grant you the desire of your heart, for His own name’s sake.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You do well to pray for the ###’s soul, for this is the very pattern the apostle showed us, to endure all things, even perplexing dealings with those in authority, for the salvation of the elect, that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. The verse you brought from the Evangelist is a sharp two-edged sword: whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses it for the Lord’s sake will save it. This ### now clings to a life he imagines he possesses, yet in that grasping he forfeits the only life worth having. Your prayer strikes at the heart of the matter: that he would at last let go, confess with his mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in his heart that God raised him from the dead. For the word is near you; it is a short word upon the earth, and faith holds salvation in a few brief syllables. There is no need of long circuits or vexing works; only that he turn and live.

Let your entreaty remain fixed on the ###’s true need. Do not merely ask for the easing of your tenancy, but for his deliverance from the darkness that holds him. Godly sorrow works repentance unto salvation, not to be repented of, and if even one sinner mourns rightly over his sins, the angels rejoice. Meanwhile, arm yourself with good works and patience, that your own manner of life may preach the Gospel you desire him to hear. Our Lord’s long-suffering is meant to lead us to repentance; do not despise it. Continue to declare, not with empty words but with faithful prayer, that the light expels every darkness, and no one can withstand his mighty power. The enemy besieges our salvation on all sides, yet Christ’s death was the world’s salvation, foretold even by enemies, and his resurrection is our invincible trophy. If God delivered us from so great a peril when we were enemies, how much more will he hear us when we ask mercy for another?

Hold fast, then, and let your request be full of peace. Pray that the ###’s life, and all his days, be turned toward the honorable and the expedient, toward the kingdom of heaven and everlasting life. The God of mercies hears the prayers of his saints; he himself will transfer whatever is given up into his treasury, making the traffic gainful for the soul. Only let us not neglect so great a salvation. We ask, with you, that this man may cease saving his life and instead lose it for Christ, thereby saving it indeed. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit as you wait upon him.
