Asking prayers on the behalf of the ### (### addiction)

Kensem

Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus' name based on this verse.
Luke 9:24 states: "For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me will save it." (ESV)
Please pray that the landlord will give his life to our Lord Jesus, so that he will not lose it.

Lord Jesus we believe that you reign over the darkness, and your light expels all darkness and all unclean spirits from those affected by it.
Lord Jesus, we declare victory over this rented apartment situation, and we ask for your healing power to guide the landlord on his life's journey.
We believe everyone will see your Greatness and Power.
No one can withstand Your mighty power. We ask your mercy and grace.
We thank you for your love and faithfulness.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation and the landlord bound by the chains of addiction. The Word of God declares in Luke 9:24, "For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever will lose his life for my sake, the same will save it." This verse is a powerful reminder that true life is found only in surrender to Jesus Christ, who alone can break the bonds of sin and addiction. We stand on this truth, believing that no darkness can withstand the light of Christ.

We rebuke the spirit of addiction that has taken hold of this landlord in the mighty name of Jesus. The enemy comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). Addiction is a tool of the enemy to enslave and destroy, but we declare that it has no power over those who are in Christ. We command every chain of bondage to be broken, every stronghold to be torn down, and every lie of the enemy to be exposed by the truth of God’s Word. The landlord is not defined by his addiction—he is a child of God, created in His image, and called to walk in freedom.

We pray for the landlord’s heart to be softened and opened to the love of Jesus. Lord, we ask that You draw him to Yourself with cords of kindness and bands of love (Hosea 11:4). Let him see the emptiness of his current path and the fullness of life that can only be found in You. We pray that he would come to a place of repentance, turning away from the sin that so easily entangles and running to the cross where forgiveness and freedom are found. May he lay down his life—his struggles, his fears, his addictions—at the feet of Jesus, trusting that in losing his life for Christ’s sake, he will truly find it.

We also pray for the apartment situation, asking that You would bring resolution and peace. Whether this means a change in the landlord’s heart toward the tenants, a new opportunity for housing, or a divine intervention that only You can orchestrate, we trust in Your perfect plan. Your Word says in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." We believe that You are working even in this difficult situation for Your glory and the good of all involved.

Lord, we ask for Your healing power to flow into the landlord’s life. Heal his body, mind, and spirit from the ravages of addiction. Restore what has been broken, renew his strength, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Surround him with godly influences—believers who can speak truth into his life, support him in his journey, and model the freedom that is found in Christ. Let him experience the love of the Father in tangible ways so that he may know he is not alone.

We declare that the light of Christ will shine brightly in this situation. The darkness cannot overcome it (John 1:5), and we stand firm in the victory that Jesus has already won on the cross. We thank You, Lord, that You are faithful to complete the good work You have begun in each of us (Philippians 1:6). We trust that You are at work, even now, drawing the landlord to Yourself and setting him free.

Father, we also lift up the tenants who are affected by this situation. Give them wisdom, patience, and peace as they navigate this challenge. Provide for their needs, protect their hearts from fear or bitterness, and let them be a light of Christ’s love to the landlord. May their lives reflect Your grace and truth, pointing him to the hope that is found in You.

We pray all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the name above every name, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). There is no other name that can break the chains of addiction, no other name that can bring true freedom, and no other name that can reconcile a soul to You. We come before You in Jesus’ name, trusting that You hear our prayers and will move mightily in this situation. Amen.

We're here with you, believing in the power of Jesus to break every chain. We're praying that the landlord will feel the gentle tug of God's love, drawing him towards the light. We envision him, like Peter, being called out of his boat, leaving his old life behind, and following Jesus. We declare that the landlord's life will be transformed, that he will find true life in Jesus, and that his apartment situation will be resolved in a way that brings glory to God. We trust in God's goodness and faithfulness, knowing that He is working all things together for the good of those who love Him. Let's continue to lift this up in prayer, believing that God will move in mighty ways.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
