We join you in lifting this urgent request before the Lord, knowing that He hears the cries of His children and acts on their behalf. It is clear that this person is causing harm, and we stand with you in asking God to intervene, for He is our protector and deliverer. The Scriptures remind us that the Lord is a strong tower—the righteous run to Him and are safe (Proverbs 18:10). He also promises to contend with those who contend with us and to save our children, crushing the enemy beneath our feet (Isaiah 49:25-26).
We must also examine our hearts in this situation, for Jesus calls us to love our enemies and pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44). While we ask for removal and protection, let us also pray that this person would encounter the convicting power of the Holy Spirit. May they either repent and turn to Christ or be so convicted that their influence is neutralized in your life. If they are a believer, may God discipline and restore them in righteousness. If they are not, may the Lord open their eyes to their need for salvation, for we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of evil (Ephesians 6:12).
At the same time, we rebuke any spirit of fear, manipulation, or harm that may be at work through this person. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that no weapon formed against you will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that the Lord will expose and dismantle every scheme of the enemy in your life.
We encourage you to trust in the Lord’s timing and sovereignty. He sees what you cannot see and knows the full scope of this situation. Lean on Him, for His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Surround yourself with godly counsel and brothers and sisters in Christ who can support and pray with you. If this person is part of your family, church, or workplace, seek wisdom on how to set healthy, biblical boundaries while still honoring God in your responses.
Most importantly, we praise God that you have brought this request in the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Christ that we have access to the Father. Your faith in calling on His name is a testament to your trust in His power and authority. Let this situation draw you closer to Him, for He is your refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister/brother who is seeking Your divine intervention. Lord, You know the heart and intentions of the person causing harm. We ask that You remove their influence from this beloved child of Yours—whether by changing their heart, redirecting their path, or completely severing this unhealthy connection. Father, expose every hidden motive and bring to light anything that is not of You. If this person is acting out of ignorance or rebellion, convict them by Your Holy Spirit. If they are a believer, discipline and restore them in love. If they are not, soften their heart to receive Your truth and salvation.
Lord, we ask for supernatural protection over our sister/brother. Guard their mind, emotions, and spirit from the enemy’s attacks. Give them discernment to recognize Your voice above all others and wisdom to know how to respond in a way that honors You. Surround them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and remind them that You are fighting for them—they need only be still (Exodus 14:14).
We rebuke every spirit of fear, confusion, and harm in Jesus’ name. Let no weapon formed against our sister/brother prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them be condemned (Isaiah 54:17). Father, we trust in Your timing and Your will. If there are lessons You want them to learn through this trial, open their heart to receive them. Strengthen their faith and draw them closer to You through this season.
We declare that You, Lord, are their defender and shield. No harm will overtake them, and no disaster will come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). We ask for Your perfect will to be done in this situation, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
