Asking prayers for a full blow of justice from the Sun of Righteousness

Kensem

Beloved of All
Hello dear prayer partners in the LORD!

This morning, I am asking for prayers for a man whom you prayed for with me about five years ago!
He did something terrible to me, and I asked the Lord to show him mercy so that he could repent, come to Jesus, and ask me for forgiveness. But years have passed and he still hasn't come to me. Many years ago, the Lord foresaw this and told me that he would not repent, even if he was given more time. However, He allowed this time to pass so that I could see that He knows in advance who needs a little more time to repent and come to Him, and who will never come to Him, even if He gives them plenty of time. This was a valuable lesson for me, and I thank the Lord for his faithfulness and love in this matter.

Now, I am asking you to join me in praying that this man is removed from his parliamentary position, so that he cannot harm our country any further with his evil actions and influence. If he does not submit to God, then I pray that he will be humbled and will not bring more evil upon my country's future. The Lord already removed the ministers who supported him when I was wronged and the police and evil judges failed to deliver justice when this man lied about me and acted aggressively towards me, even though I didn't know him. He was an alcoholic too. Please pray in Jesus' name that justice is served, as his evil actions have deeply harmed my life.

I couldn't return to university to finish my studies due to his evil, dishonest accusations! I thank God that He blessed me, even though I couldn't finish my degree. I grew closer to Him and witnessed many miracles! I also thank God that we have seen the end of an unjust government and that corruption is being exposed!

Let the name of the LORD be glorified, who is a righteous judge! Let your will be done, Heavenly Father!!!!
Thank you!!!

We join with you in seeking the Lord together in Jesus' name and we thank you for sharing this deep and painful burden with us. We have heard your heart and the long years of waiting for justice and for repentance, and we grieve with you over the harm done to your life and the dishonest accusations that kept you from finishing your studies. We also rejoice with you that in the midst of this trial you have grown closer to the Lord and have witnessed His miracles and His faithfulness, and that you can still say let the name of the Lord be glorified.

We understand your cry for justice from the Sun of Righteousness, for Malachi 4:2 says that for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. We serve a God who is a righteous judge, for Psalm 7:11 says God is a righteous judge, yes, a God who has indignation every day. He sees what was done in secret, He heard the lies spoken against you, and He knows the failure of police and judges to deliver justice, and nothing is hidden from His sight.

We want to gently encourage you in your understanding of repentance and justice. You shared that the Lord showed you this man would never repent even if given more time. We must be very careful about declaring with certainty what only God knows about a human heart, for 1 Corinthians 4:5 says we should not judge anything before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. We know from 2 Peter 3:9 that the Lord is not slow concerning his promise, but is patient with us, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance, and from Ezekiel 33:11 that God has no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live. While years have passed without the repentance and apology you prayed for, we encourage you to leave the final knowledge of his heart to God and to guard your own heart from bitterness, for Hebrews 12:15 warns to watch carefully that no root of bitterness springing up trouble you. Even as we pray for justice, we are commanded in Matthew 5:44 to love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you.

We also hear your prayer that this man be removed from his parliamentary position so he cannot harm the country further. We agree that God is sovereign over rulers and authorities, for Romans 13:1 says there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God, and Proverbs 21:1 says the king's heart is in Yahweh's hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires. It is right to pray for justice and for the exposure of corruption and for leaders to act righteously, for Micah 6:8 says he has shown you, O man, what is good. What does Yahweh require of you, but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God. We are also taught in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 to make petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. At the same time we must surrender vengeance to God, for Romans 12:19 says don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay, says the Lord.

We pray together now in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only through His name that we have access to the Father and it is in His name we find healing and justice.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son. You are the righteous Judge who loves justice and hates iniquity. You see the pain our dear fellow believer has carried, the lies spoken, the aggression endured, the loss of opportunity at university, and the long wait for repentance that has not come. We thank You that even in this You have drawn this soul closer to You and shown many miracles, and that You have begun to expose corruption and remove unjust leaders according to Your will. Lord, we ask for Your perfect justice to be done concerning this man in parliament. If it is Your will, remove him from his position of influence so that he can no longer bring evil upon the country, and let all his harmful actions be brought into the light and dealt with righteously. We ask that Your will be done in our nation as it is in heaven, that truth would prevail and that those in authority would govern with honesty and fear of You. We also lift up this man himself to You, that if there is still opportunity for repentance, You would convict him of his sin, bring him to brokenness over his alcohol abuse and his dishonesty, and draw him to salvation through Jesus Christ. But if he continues to harden his heart, we ask that You humble him and restrain his evil according to Your wisdom. Father, we ask for complete healing and restoration for the one who was wronged, heal the wounds in the heart, redeem what was lost, and keep this heart free from bitterness and revenge, filling it instead with Your peace that surpasses understanding. Help us all to trust that You repay in Your perfect time and way. We ask this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to walk humbly with the Lord, to forgive as God in Christ forgave you as Ephesians 4:32 teaches, not because the wrong was small but because Christ has forgiven us so greatly, and to trust that God will make all things right in His time, for Psalm 37:5-6 says commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this, he will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noon day sun. Keep praying for your country, for justice to roll on like waters as Amos 5:24 says, and for your own heart to remain tender before the Lord. We thank God for your testimony of faithfulness through suffering and we stand with you for His righteous will to be done.

We were moved reading your update after carrying this for so many years. To be falsely accused by someone with power, to not be heard by police and courts, and to lose the chance to finish your studies leaves a deep and lasting wound. We are thankful with you that even in that loss you have known God's nearness and seen His care, and that your deepest desire is still for His will to be done.

It makes sense that after waiting and hoping for repentance you are now asking the Lord for justice and for your country to be protected from further harm. Wanting God to act justly and choosing to release personal revenge can live side by side. One is entrusting the outcome to Him as the righteous judge, the other is refusing to carry the burden of payback ourselves, even while the grief and anger are still real. Both often happen gradually and need to be revisited over time.

A steady next step that helps many who have waited long like this is to keep bringing both parts honestly before the Lord, the longing for justice and the personal loss you still feel about your studies and future, and to walk closely with one trusted pastor or mature believer who knows your story and can help you tend to your healing and discern what God has for you now.

Father, You see all that was done and all that was lost, and You know this heart that seeks You. We ask for Your just and merciful will to be done in this situation and over the leadership of this country. Bring protection where there is vulnerability, and bring deep healing, peace, and clear next steps to our friend as they continue to trust You. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your sorrow has been heard, and we bring it with you before the throne of grace where the righteous Judge reigns. The Lord knows the wrong you have suffered, the false accusations, the aggression, the loss of your studies, and the long years of waiting for an acknowledgment that has not come. He who sees in secret is not blind to injustice, and He who is light can have no fellowship with falsehood.

We must remember what has been well said, that God is love, but God is also just, as severely just as if He had no love, and yet as intensely loving as if He had no justice. There is no escape from the justice He metes out, and yet there is a glorious escape provided in Christ for all who repent and believe. The ten great guns of the Law are indeed aimed at the sinner, and swift would be the punishment if justice alone were to lift its finger. But the Word of God, applied by the Holy Spirit, is the means of healing sin sick souls, for the Lord Jesus Christ is the Word of God sent to be the sinner's Friend and the sinner's Saviour. He lived for sinners and He died for sinners, bearing the whole tremendous debt that was due to God, so that God can be both just and the justifier of him that believeth in Jesus.

In this light we must speak with holy carefulness about what you have felt the Lord to have told you concerning this man, that he will never repent though more time be given him. The secret counsels of God belong to Him alone, and we are not given to pronounce a final sentence upon any living soul. While breath remains, the gate of mercy stands open, and we have seen many souls converted after long hardness, when tears and prayer through God the Holy Spirit did effectually what argument could not do. It is right to treat God truthfully and to lay bare the soul before Him, and His promise is that if we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. For your own peace, continue to leave this man's eternal state in the hands of Him who alone searches the heart, and pray still, as our Lord taught us, forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors, for God often deals with men as they deal with others.

We understand your longing to see justice done in the land and to see evil restrained in high places. It is right to pray as the psalmist did, I have done judgment and justice, leave me not to my oppressors, and to ask the Lord to plead your cause, for God pleads the cause of His people and this is their joy. We will join you in praying that the Sun of Righteousness would arise with healing in His wings, that He would expose corruption, restrain evil, and establish righteousness in your nation through lawful and just means. We pray that if this man continues in dishonesty and aggression, the Lord in His wisdom would remove his influence and humble him, not that personal vengeance might be satisfied, but that the land might be protected and that he himself might be brought to see his need of Christ. Vengeance belongs to the Lord, and we entrust judgment to Him who will do right, asking that His will be done rather than our own desire for retribution. In this we must keep our own hearts with all diligence, lest bitterness take root, and we must ask for grace to forgive even as we have been forgiven through the blood of the Substitute.

For your own wound, which is deep and has cost you much, we point you to the great Physician who alone healeth the broken in heart. Bodily diseases urge us quickly to seek a physician, but wounds of the spirit require immediate dealings with God Himself. Bring your broken heart to Him anew. He does not treat us as blocks of wood or stone, but as reasonable beings who may pour out our complaint and find healing in His Word. He can turn even this loss to your good, as you have already seen in drawing nearer to Him and witnessing His mercies, and He is able to restore and to provide a future in His own way, whether through the return to study or through another path of usefulness for His glory.

Let us pray together. O Lord, Thou art light and in Thee is no darkness, Thou art the righteous Judge who will not clear the guilty and yet Thou art abundant in mercy to all who call upon Thee through Jesus Christ Thy Son, who alone is the way of salvation. We lay this wrong before Thee. Plead the cause of Thy servant, heal the broken in heart, and keep her from the snare of an unforgiving spirit. Restrain evil in our land, establish justice, and let those who rule do so in the fear of God. Have mercy upon this man against whom complaint is made, open his eyes to his sin, bring him to repentance and faith in Christ if it be Thy will, and if not, in Thy justice limit his power to do harm. We ask not for our will but Thine, and we trust Thee to do what is right. Grant that men may praise Thee for Thy goodness and for Thy wonderful works to the children of men, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing your burden with us and allowing us to pray with you again after these five years. We hear how deeply you have been wounded by false accusations and aggressive treatment, and how this has affected your studies and your life, and we grieve with you over that injustice. We also give thanks with you that in the midst of this trial you have drawn closer to the Lord and have seen His mercy and many evidences of His care, and that you have seen corruption being exposed in your country.

We join you in looking to the Lord who is the Sun of Righteousness and the righteous Judge. He sees all things clearly and will do what is right. Scripture teaches us that vengeance belongs to the Lord, and that we are to desire justice while also desiring mercy. The Lord desires that all people be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, and while we live there remains opportunity for repentance through Jesus Christ who died for all. For that reason we cannot settle in our own hearts that any person is beyond His mercy, even when years have passed without repentance. We continue to pray for the salvation of those who have harmed us, even as we pray for justice to be done.

We also hear your prayer that evil influence in public office would be restrained and that your country would be protected from further harm. This is a right thing to pray for. God has appointed authorities for the good of the people, and He calls those in authority to act justly and truthfully. The Scripture also teaches that no one should be judged without a careful hearing and that a matter is to be established by witnesses and by honest examination. This protects both the wronged and the accused from hasty or partial judgment. So we pray not out of personal revenge but that the truth would be made clear, that what is false would be shown to be false, and what is true would be established by faithful witnesses and lawful process, and that the Lord would restrain evil and promote what is good for your nation.

We will pray with you in this way:

Heavenly Father, righteous Judge, You see the pain that has been caused and You know the truth of all that has happened. We ask that You would bring justice according to Your perfect wisdom and righteousness. Where there have been lies and abuse of power, bring them to light through lawful and careful examination. Restrain evil, protect the people of this nation from corruption and oppression, and grant to those in authority a love for truth and justice. If it is Your will and for the good of the nation, remove from influence those who use their position to harm others, and raise up those who will serve with integrity.

We also pray for this man who has caused harm. We ask that You would humble him, convict him of sin, and lead him to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, who alone is the way of salvation. Grant him grace to confess what is true and to seek forgiveness where he has wronged others.

And we pray for our sister who has been hurt. Heal her heart from the wounds of false accusation. Comfort her in the disappointment over her studies and guide her steps for the future. Continue to draw her closer to You, establish her in peace, and let her life be a testimony to Your faithfulness. Help her to walk in forgiveness as You have forgiven us, while still trusting You to do what is just.

We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who died and rose again for our sakes, and in whom we have our hope of justice and mercy. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to entrust yourself to the Lord, to seek wise and godly counsel locally, and to pursue any lawful means for truth to be heard with patience and with a spirit of grace. May the Lord keep you in His peace.

Thank you for opening your heart and sharing so much pain so honestly. To be falsely accused by someone you did not even know, to be treated with aggression, to have your studies interrupted and your life deeply affected, and then to feel that those who should have delivered justice failed you, is a heavy burden. I also hear your thankfulness that even in that loss God drew you closer, showed you His care in many ways, and has allowed corruption to be exposed. That gratitude in the midst of hurt is a sign of His grace at work in you.

I want to speak gently to one part of what you shared. You mentioned that the Lord told you years ago that this man would never repent even if given more time. Scripture urges us to test what we believe we have heard, because many voices and false teachings go out into the world and not every impression is from God. Only the Lord knows the heart fully and whether a person will yet turn to Him. His Word shows that He is patient, not wanting anyone to perish but wanting all to come to repentance, and that forgiveness remains possible for anyone who will turn to Him through Jesus Christ. Rather than settling the conclusion that this man can never be forgiven, it is safer and more biblical to leave his future in God's hands and keep praying with an open hand, trusting that God knows who will respond and who will not.

Your longing for justice is understandable. The psalms are full of prayers from those who faced false witnesses who breathed out cruelty and hatred, asking God to keep their soul, to deliver them, and to let integrity and uprightness preserve them as they wait on Him. It is right to care that evil influence is restrained in your country and that leaders act justly. At the same time, the Scriptures show us how easily we ask for mercy and grace for ourselves, yet ask for strict repayment for our enemies. Jesus calls us to a different measure. The measure for our forgiveness is God's forgiveness toward us. At the cross God demonstrated His love once for all, giving His Son to be the payment for our sins, not because we loved Him first but because He loved us. In response He calls us to love one another as He has loved us.

That love is not the kind that simply feels affection or seeks something in return. Human love often keeps an account and looks for payback. The love God calls us to is a giving love that does not keep a record of wrongs. To be kind, tenderhearted, and forgiving toward others even as God for Christ's sake has forgiven us is not possible in our own strength, but it is the path that brings freedom to our own hearts and reflects the mercy we have received.

God is a righteous judge, and He sees every false accusation and every harm. He is for His people, and the help of man is often vain, but through God we can do valiantly and He will deal with our enemies in His own perfect way and time. We do not need to dictate how He must humble someone or remove them from influence. We can trust Him to restrain evil, to bring what is hidden into the light, and to do what is right, while we keep our hearts free from bitterness.

So I would encourage you to pray along these lines. Ask the Heavenly Father to do what is just and right according to His righteousness, to restrain evil in the places of leadership so that further harm is prevented, and to bring about what is needed for the good of your country in His wisdom. Ask Him also to be merciful, that if this man would yet turn, God would grant him repentance and faith in Jesus, for salvation is through Christ alone. And ask Him to continue His healing work in you, to help you release the account you have been carrying, to guard you with integrity as you wait on Him, and to let your life sing of His righteousness and deliverance. You have already seen Him sustain you after great loss. Continue to look to the cross as the proof of His love for you, and let that love shape how you pray for those who have hurt you.

We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf and we are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. We remember having prayed with you about five years ago for this man who wronged you so deeply, when your heart was to ask the Lord to show him mercy so that he might repent and come to Jesus and seek your forgiveness. We have taken to heart what you shared about the valuable lesson the Lord taught you in allowing these years to pass, showing you that He knows in advance who will need more time to repent and who will not repent even when given plenty of time, and we thank God with you for His faithfulness and love in revealing this to you.

We have continued to stand with you now as you seek a full blow of justice from the Sun of Righteousness, Mal 4:2, and we have brought before the Lord your request that this man be removed from his parliamentary position so that he can no longer harm our country through his evil actions and influence. We have prayed with you that if he will not submit to God, that he will be humbled and restrained from bringing more evil upon the future of your country. We remember your pain over his dishonest accusations and aggressive behavior toward you when you did not even know him, his struggle with alcohol, and how the police and unjust judges failed to deliver justice, and how this injustice cost you the ability to return to university and finish your studies. We rejoice with you that even in this the Lord has blessed you, drawn you closer to Himself, shown you many miracles, and has already begun to answer by removing the ministers who supported this man and by exposing corruption and bringing an unjust government to an end. We cling with you to the truth that the Lord is a righteous judge who loves justice, Psalm 37:28, and that He will judge the world in righteousness, Psalm 9:8.

We pray together in Jesus Name that the Lord's perfect will be done, that justice will be served according to His righteousness and timing, that this man will no longer be able to use his position to do harm, and that the Lord will continue to heal what was broken in your life and use your testimony for His glory. We ask in Jesus Name for His peace to guard your heart as you wait upon Him.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know how the Lord has moved, so we may rejoice and give glory to Him together. If your request does not seem to have been answered yet, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.
