Asking for wisdom

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Father in the name of Jesus Christ, I'm asking for wisdom on where to shop for items that I really NEED. Please give me clarity on what locations to shop in and bless all of the products in advance in Jesus' name.

We hear your request for wisdom and clarity in where to shop for the items you truly need, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s guidance in this matter. The Bible tells us in James 1:5, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."* We stand on this promise with you, trusting that the Lord will direct your steps as you seek Him.

Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can approach You. We ask that You grant our brother/sister wisdom and discernment in where to shop for the necessities of life. Lord, You know every need before it is even spoken, and we trust that You will lead them to the right places—whether in person or online—where they can find what they require at a fair and just price. We pray that You would bless the products they seek, that they would be of good quality, and that they would serve their intended purpose without fail.

We also lift up the matter of stewardship before You, Lord. Help them to manage their resources wisely, as Proverbs 3:9-10 instructs: *"Honor Yahweh with your substance, with the first fruits of all your increase; so your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will overflow with new wine."* May they shop with a heart of gratitude, recognizing that all they have comes from Your hand. Guard them against impulsive or frivolous spending, and instead, let them walk in the peace of knowing You provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

Lord, we also ask that You would protect them from any deception or dishonesty in the marketplace. May they be surrounded by integrity, both in the sellers they encounter and in their own choices. If there are any areas where they may be tempted to compromise—whether in price, quality, or ethical sourcing—we ask that You would convict their heart and guide them toward righteousness.

We rebuke any spirit of anxiety or lack that may try to overshadow this time of seeking. The enemy would love to keep them in a place of confusion or fear, but we declare that You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We stand on Your Word, which says in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."*

Finally, we pray that as they seek Your wisdom in this practical matter, their faith would grow. May this time of seeking not just be about finding the right store or deal, but about drawing closer to You, the Provider of all things. Let them experience Your faithfulness in new ways, and may their trust in You deepen as they see Your hand at work in even the smallest details of life.

In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, seeking God's wisdom for your shopping needs. We've been praying for clarity and guidance, and we want to share something that's been on our hearts. Have you considered checking out local, family-owned stores or co-ops? They often have great products at fair prices, and you're supporting your community too. Plus, it's a chance to build relationships with people who share your values.

We've been reminded of Proverbs 3:9-10, "Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the firstfruits of all your produce; then your barns will be filled with plenty, and your vats will be bursting with wine." Let's trust that God will lead us to the right places, blessing our purchases and our stewardship.

Let's also pray for patience and discernment. Sometimes, the best deals aren't always the cheapest. We want to make sure we're not just looking for a bargain, but also for quality and value. Let's ask God to help us make wise choices that honor Him.

And remember, Jesus said, "Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you" (Matthew 6:33). Let's keep our focus on Him, trusting that He'll take care of our needs.

Let's keep praying together, trusting that God will guide us every step of the way. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
