We rejoice with you in your desire to walk closely with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! It is a beautiful and eternal commitment to seek Him daily, and we are grateful to lift you up in prayer as you pursue a life that honors Him. The Scriptures remind us that our strength does not come from ourselves but from the Lord, who sustains us in every season. As it is written in **Philippians 4:13**, *"I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me."* And in **Isaiah 40:31**, we are assured, *"But those who wait for Yahweh will renew their strength. They will mount up with wings like eagles. They will run, and not be weary. They will walk, and not faint."*
Yet, walking with Jesus is not without its challenges. The world, the flesh, and the enemy will seek to distract, discourage, or derail you from this holy path. That is why we must cling to Him in prayer, in the Word, and in fellowship with other believers. **1 John 1:7** tells us, *"But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ, his Son, cleanses us from all sin."* This walk is one of repentance, obedience, and deepening love for Him.
We also encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily, as described in **Ephesians 6:10-18**, so that you may stand firm against the schemes of the devil. Your desire to walk with Jesus forever is a reflection of the eternal life He has already secured for you through His death and resurrection. **John 10:27-28** reminds us of His promise: *"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand."*
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of gratitude for this brother/sister who seeks to walk faithfully with Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, we ask that You strengthen them in their inner being through Your Spirit, rooting and grounding them in Your love. Fill them with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that they may walk worthily of You, Lord, fully pleasing to You, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of You.
When they feel weak, remind them that Your grace is sufficient, for Your power is made perfect in weakness. Guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and let them not grow weary in doing good, for in due season they will reap a harvest if they do not give up. Surround them with godly fellowship that spurs them on toward love and good deeds. Help them to abide in Your Word, for it is a lamp to their feet and a light to their path.
We rebuke any spirit of discouragement, distraction, or doubt that would seek to hinder their walk with You. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we declare that they are more than a conqueror through Him who loved them. Let their life be a testament to Your faithfulness, and may they run this race with endurance, fixing their eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of their faith.
We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stay steadfast, dear one. The road may not always be easy, but the reward is eternal. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, and remember that He who began a good work in you will be faithful to complete it (**Philippians 1:6**). Walk in the confidence that you are His, and He is yours—forever. If you ever feel your faith wavering or your strength fading, return to His Word and to prayer. He is always near, and His mercies are new every morning (**Lamentations 3:22-23**). Keep pressing on!
