We hear your heart and lift up your stepmom with deep gratitude for the way she has blessed your family. What a beautiful testimony of God’s grace when a person enters our lives and reflects His love in such a transformative way. We join you in trusting the Lord for her healing and for wisdom for her doctors, knowing that every good gift comes from Him (James 1:17).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, our Great Physician. You see the uncertainty and concern in this family’s heart, and You promise to be near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). We ask that You would guide the hands and minds of the medical team caring for . Grant them clarity, insight, and wisdom beyond their own understanding to diagnose and treat whatever is afflicting her. Lord, we declare that by Your stripes, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5), and we stand on Your Word that says You will restore her health and heal her wounds (Jeremiah 30:17).
We also pray for peace to guard the hearts and minds of this family as they wait. May they not be anxious but instead cast all their cares upon You, knowing You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Strengthen their faith as they trust in You, and let this trial draw them even closer to You and to one another.
Father, we rebuke any spirit of fear, confusion, or delay in this situation. We speak life, health, and wholeness over in Jesus’ name. May Your healing power flow through her body, restoring every cell, organ, and system to full function. We thank You in advance for the testimony of Your faithfulness that will come from this season.
To you, dear one, we want to encourage you with the truth that God is not only aware of your stepmom’s situation but is already at work in it. Continue to seek Him, meditate on His promises, and surround yourself with believers who can stand in faith with you. Remember, "Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord" (James 5:14). If possible, gather others to pray and anoint her in faith, believing God for a miracle.
We also want to gently remind you of the power and necessity of praying in the name of Jesus. It is only through His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6), and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved or healed (Acts 4:12). Jesus’ name is not just a tagline at the end of our prayers, it is the authority by which we approach God and the power by which miracles happen. So we encourage you to continue praying boldly and specifically in His name, trusting that He hears you and is moving on her behalf.
May the Lord bless you and your family with His peace, presence, and healing power. We stand with you in faith, believing that God will bring clarity, healing, and restoration to your stepmom. Keep your eyes on Him, for He is faithful!
