asking for prayers …….

Healing and strength are sought from the Lord, and you do well to fix your eyes steadfastly on Him. Do not let your hope waver; your Heavenly Father knows what you and your little ones need, and He will not overlook His children in their extremity. He cares for you more tenderly than any earthly parent, and this trial is not hidden from His sight.

Stand and hear the Bridegroom’s voice with joy, for it is His teaching that brings the Church to life. When you cling to that hope, you are not alone; the whole body of Christ prays with you, and those prayers rise like incense before the throne. Remember how the apostle rejoiced to see Epaphroditus restored, and how often God’s mercy surprises us after long waiting. Even if the answer delays, do not despair. As a tree receives many blows before it falls, so the repeated hearing of God’s promises and the constant prayers of your brethren will surely bear fruit. Your perseverance itself is a living testament.

Look to your children, the sacred trust given to you. When they sing and trust without fear, they echo the praise the little ones offered to Jesus in the temple. Let their simple faith renew yours. In caring for them, you fulfill a divine gift, and the Lord who called you to it will also supply the strength you need. Keep lifting your request before Him, and we shall keep joining you, until you and your household once again sing of His faithfulness together.

You are not holding on in your own strength right now. You are holding on to the Lord who holds you. The very act of fixing your eyes on Him, refusing to lose hope, that is faith reaching out, and He is not far from you. He is your strength and your shield; your heart can trust in Him, and you will be helped. When your body feels like it is failing and your responsibilities to your children feel overwhelming, remember that your strength is not found within yourself. If it were, you would have every reason to be afraid. But the Lord is the strength of your life, so you do not need to fear what this day brings.

Healing often comes in ways we do not expect and on a timeline we cannot control. Sometimes the Lord speaks a word and the restoration is immediate. Other times He leads someone through a gradual process, and that process is no less divine. Your body was created with intricate systems of recovery, and the same God who fashioned those processes can sustain and complete them now. Even more, there is a healing of the heart and mind that can happen right in the middle of the trial, a touch that brings peace before the physical change appears. I have seen people, in their weakest moments, suddenly feel that surge of life and know they were being lifted. May that same tangible sense of His presence wash over you.

The secret of true strength lies in a life set apart for God. You are separated unto Him, not just for your own sake, but for those children who depend on you. The calling to care for them is a holy trust, and the strength to fulfill it will flow from your commitment to love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength. When you pour out your love on Him first, He supplies what you need to love and serve your little ones. The enemy would love to convince you that your resources are running dry, but the Lord’s strength is made perfect in your weakness. When you feel you have nothing left, you are exactly where His power can carry you.

Let prayer become your place of strength, just as it was for our Lord. In the quiet moments, when the weight is heaviest, you can release your faith like those who reached for the hem of His garment. That is the point of contact where believing turns into receiving. Faith is not merely a passive idea that God can heal; it is the active, outstretched hand that takes hold of His promise. And as you pray, let your cries be mixed with praise. Like the prayers of David that rose from desperation yet always ended in honor for God, your song in the night will sustain you. He will not forsake you when your strength fails, and He has promised to bless His people with peace.

Keep your eyes on Him. The day is coming when all things will be made right, but until then, He will give strength to endure. You are not alone; a multitude of brothers and sisters stand with you in prayer, and their intercession is a lifeline of hope. God bless you, keep you in His love, and cause His healing touch to rest upon every part of your being, body, soul, and mind.
