Asking for prayers to bring about a full blow of justice from the Sun of Righteousness.

Beloved of All
Hello dear prayer partners in the LORD!

I am asking for prayers for a man whom you prayed for with me about five years ago!
He did something terrible to me, and I asked the Lord to show him mercy so that he could repent, come to Jesus, and ask me for forgiveness. But years have passed and he still hasn't come to me. Many years ago, the Lord foresaw this and told me that he would not repent, even if he was given more time. However, He allowed this time to pass so that I could see that He knows in advance who needs a little more time to repent and come to Him, and who will never come to Him, even if He gives them plenty of time. This was a valuable lesson for me, and I thank the Lord for his faithfulness and love in this matter.

Now, I am asking you to join me in praying that this man is removed from his parliamentary position, so that he cannot harm our country any further with his evil actions and influence. If he does not submit to God, then I pray that he will be humbled and will not bring more evil upon my country's future. The Lord already removed the ministers who supported him when I was wronged and the police and evil judges failed to deliver justice when this man lied about me and acted aggressively towards me, even though I didn't know him. He was an alcoholic too. Please pray in Jesus' name that justice is served, as his evil actions have deeply harmed my life.

I couldn't return to university to finish my studies due to his evil, dishonest accusations! I thank God that He blessed me, even though I couldn't finish my degree. I grew closer to Him and witnessed many miracles! I also thank God that we have seen the end of an unjust government and that corruption is being exposed!

Let the name of the LORD be glorified, who is a righteous judge! Let your will be done, Heavenly Father!!!!
Thank you!!!

We join with you in prayer and we thank you for sharing this burden with us again after these five years. We have heard your pain over the terrible wrong done to you, the false accusations and aggressive acts and lies spoken against you, and how this harmed your life and prevented you from finishing your university studies. We also rejoice with you that even in this hardship you have grown closer to the Lord and have seen His miracles and His blessing, for we know that to those who love God all things work together for good for those who are called according to his purpose Romans 8:28.

We hear your heart for justice, and that you desire to see the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in his wings Malachi 4:2 and bring justice to your land. It is right to long for justice, for the Lord is a righteous judge Psalm 7:11 and He loves righteousness and justice Psalm 33:5. We also remember that you first prayed for mercy for this man, that he would repent and come to Jesus and seek forgiveness, and we commend that Christlike heart. The Lord desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth 1 Timothy 2:4 and He is patient, not wishing that anyone should perish but that all should come to repentance 2 Peter 3:9. Even now while you have come to believe the Lord has shown you this man will not repent, we must continue to leave the final judgment of his soul to God, who alone knows the heart.

We want to gently encourage you and also exhort you in love to guard your heart against bitterness or a spirit of vengeance, even as you rightly pray for justice to be done. The Scripture says, Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord Romans 12:19. And again, we are taught to love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. Praying that a man be removed from influence so he can no longer harm others is a prayer for protection of your country and for righteousness in leadership, which is biblical, but praying for his humiliation or destruction must be surrendered fully to God’s perfect will and not to our own desire to see him harmed. We are to pray for those in authority that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence 1 Timothy 2:1-2, and we know that He removes kings and sets up kings Daniel 2:21, and that there is no authority except from God and those which exist are ordained by God Romans 13:1. If it is God’s will to remove this man from his parliamentary position to protect your nation from further evil, He is able to do so.

We also urge you to continue to walk in forgiveness toward this man, not because what he did was not evil, for lying lips and false witness are an abomination to the Lord Proverbs 12:22 and a false witness will not go unpunished Proverbs 19:5 and you shall not give false testimony against your neighbor Exodus 20:16, but because we have been forgiven much. Be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:32. Forgiveness releases you from the prison of resentment and entrusts justice to the One who judges righteously. See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of God, that no root of bitterness springing up causes trouble Hebrews 12:15.

So we pray together with you now.

Heavenly Father, we come before Your throne in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved Acts 4:12 and through Him we have access to You. Lord, You see all that was done to our dear partner in prayer, the lies, the aggression, the injustice when police and judges failed to act. You are the God who sees, and nothing is hidden from Your eyes. We ask that Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven Matthew 6:10. If it is Your will, remove this man from his position of power so that he can no longer harm this nation with evil actions and influence. Raise up righteous leaders who will execute justice and expose corruption. We thank You that You have already removed those who supported injustice and that You are exposing corruption. Continue to establish justice in that land.

Father, we also place this man’s soul into Your hands. You desire mercy and not sacrifice, and we ask that if there remains any opportunity for him to repent, You would grant him repentance and bring him to the knowledge of Your Son. But we trust Your perfect knowledge of his heart and Your perfect justice. Humble him if it is Your will, that evil may be restrained. Heal our friend’s heart from the deep wounds that remain, restore what was lost, and continue to use even this painful trial for Your glory. Help us to forgive as You have forgiven us, and to not be overcome by evil, but to overcome evil with good Romans 12:21. Let Your name be glorified as the righteous judge who will in Your time make all things right. We ask all this in the mighty and merciful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to remain steadfast in prayer, to continue to seek the Lord’s healing for your own heart, and to trust that the Lord will in His perfect time bring about full justice. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we will reap if we don’t give up Galatians 6:9. Keep your eyes on Jesus, rest in His righteousness, and know that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ Philippians 1:6.

Thank you for coming back to let us pray with you again after carrying this for five years. We hear how long you have waited, hoping for repentance and for a chance to finish your studies, and how painful it has been to live with false accusations and with justice delayed.

We also hear your gratitude in the midst of it, that God has drawn you closer, shown you His faithfulness, and allowed you to see corruption being exposed. Holding both the wound and the thankfulness together is not easy, and we honor the way you are trying to leave the outcome in God's hands.

We join you in asking the Lord, who sees what was done and loves both truth and mercy, to restrain further harm, to bring about what is right for you and for your country according to His will, and to keep your heart at peace as you wait on Him. We do not know His timing or His exact way of acting, but we trust His heart for those who suffer injustice.

It can help not to carry this watch alone. If you have a trusted pastor or mature believer nearby who knows your story, keep sharing the burden with them so they can pray with you and walk with you in wisdom in the days ahead.

Father, we lift this sister to You and we lift this man and this situation to You. Bring Your just and merciful will to pass, guard her heart and her future, restrain evil, and let Your name be glorified as You heal what has been harmed. In Jesus' name, amen.

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

Psalm 55:22 Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

Your sorrow has been heard and your longing for righteousness is not hidden from Him who judges righteously. The Lord is indeed a righteous Judge, and there is comfort in knowing that nothing escapes His eye. He has been witness to what was done against you, to the false accusation and the aggression, and He will be justified when He speaks and clear when He judges.

You have learned a solemn lesson which many are slow to learn, that our God is slow to anger and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked. Mercy lingers long, as it did over Jericho before the walls fell, giving space for repentance. Yet when mercy has been refused, justice must have its course, for the Lord lays justice to the line and righteousness to the plummet. He must do right, as the Judge of all the earth. We may therefore pray with confidence that He will vindicate His own name and not suffer evil to triumph unchecked.

It is right to hate evil with a righteous hatred, to hate it as heaven hates hell, and to pray that its influence may be restrained. At the same time we are taught to love the soul of the sinner even while we abhor his sin, and to leave vengeance in the hands of Him to whom it belongs. Our Lord taught us to pray, forgive us our debts as we forgive our debtors, and we find that God often deals with men as they deal with others. Let us then bring this matter before the throne not with a spirit of personal revenge, but with a desire that truth may be established, that corruption may be exposed, and that the land may be delivered from harmful influence.

Let us pray together that the will of the Heavenly Father may be done. May the Lord in His wisdom restrain evil and bring to light what has been hidden. If it be His will, may He remove from power those who use it unjustly, that they may no longer harm the nation. And may He, in His sovereignty, either bring this man to true repentance through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, in whom alone salvation is found and by whose stripes justice was satisfied, or humble him so that his power to do evil is taken away. We ask that judges and rulers may act with honesty, that truth may prevail over lying lips, and that you may be upheld in peace.

You have testified that though you were hindered in your studies, the Lord drew you nearer to Himself and showed you many mercies. Hold fast to that. No sorrow that comes to a child of God is sent as a mere infliction of justice, but as the tender discipline of a Father who refines and keeps His own. He who preserved you through this trial will continue to keep you. Cast your burden upon Christ, who bore the debt of His people and satisfied justice at the cross, and trust Him to do what is right in His own time.

May the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His wings for you, and may His justice and mercy be magnified together according to His perfect will. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!
