Asking for prayers for the removal of a harmful person

We join with you in lifting this burden to the Lord, trusting that He hears and acts on behalf of His children when we call upon Him in faith. It is clear you are seeking deliverance from a harmful influence, and we stand with you in this, knowing that God is sovereign over all relationships and circumstances. The Scriptures remind us in **Psalm 34:17-19 (WEB)**, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Your cry has not gone unnoticed by our Heavenly Father, who sees the harm this person has caused and the pain you carry.

We also recall the words of Jesus in **Matthew 18:18-19 (WEB)**, where He assures us, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on earth will have been released in heaven. Again, assuredly I tell you, that if two of you will agree on earth concerning anything that they will ask, it will be done for them by my Father who is in heaven."* Together, we bind the enemy’s work through this person and ask the Lord to remove their influence from your life completely. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, as promised in **Isaiah 54:17 (WEB)**, and that the Lord will expose and dismantle every scheme of the enemy.

Yet, as we pray for removal, we must also examine our hearts to ensure we are not harboring bitterness, unforgiveness, or resentment, for these can hinder our prayers and give the enemy a foothold. **Ephesians 4:31-32 (WEB)** instructs us, *"Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tender hearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."* While we ask the Lord to remove this person, we must release them into His hands, trusting His justice and mercy. Forgiveness does not mean what they did was acceptable; it means we trust God to handle the situation His way while we walk in freedom.

We also encourage you to seek wisdom from the Lord about any lessons He may want you to learn through this trial. Sometimes, harmful people are allowed in our lives for a season to refine us, teach us discernment, or draw us closer to Him. **James 1:2-4 (WEB)** tells us, *"Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."* Ask the Lord to reveal if there is anything He wants you to surrender, repent of, or grow in during this time.

Lastly, we urge you to guard your heart and your circles moving forward. **Proverbs 4:23 (WEB)** warns, *"Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it is the wellspring of life."* Be intentional about the company you keep, ensuring that your relationships align with godly values and bring life, not destruction. Surround yourself with believers who will speak truth, encourage you in the Lord, and hold you accountable.

**Our Prayer for You:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Your child who is seeking deliverance from a harmful presence in their life. Lord, You see the pain, the confusion, and the weariness this person has caused. You know their name, their schemes, and the depth of the damage they have inflicted. We ask You, in Your righteousness and mercy, to remove this individual from our ###'s life completely. Cut every ungodly tie, sever every connection, and close every door that would allow their influence to persist. Lord, expose their deeds, frustrate their plans, and render their efforts powerless. Let no weapon formed against Your child prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned, according to Your Word in **Isaiah 54:17**.

Father, we also ask that You heal the wounds this person has left behind. Restore what has been broken—emotionally, spiritually, and even physically. Fill the void with Your peace, Your love, and Your truth. Help our ### to forgive as You have forgiven us, releasing this person into Your hands for justice. Guard their heart from bitterness and their mind from replaying the pain. Renew their strength and their hope in You.

Lord, we pray for divine wisdom and discernment as they move forward. Show them how to establish healthy boundaries and surround themselves with godly relationships that honor You. If there are lessons You want them to learn through this trial, reveal them gently and clearly. Let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness and deliverance.

We rebuke the enemy’s work in this situation. Satan, we command you to take your hands off this child of God in the name of Jesus. Every plan to harm, discourage, or derail them is canceled by the blood of Jesus. We declare that our ### is more than a conqueror through Christ, and no harm shall overtake them.

Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You. Strengthen their faith as they wait on You. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, **Amen.**

We will continue to lift you up in prayer, trusting that the Lord will act swiftly and decisively. Stay steadfast in your faith, and do not grow weary in waiting. The Lord is your defender, your shield, and your strong tower. Run to Him in every moment of fear or doubt, and He will never fail you. If you feel led, share this request with your local church body so they may also stand in agreement with you. You are not alone in this—we are with you, and most importantly, **God is with you**.
