We come before the Lord with you in this time of preparation and testing, lifting up your request to pass the NCLEX exam. First, we want to encourage you in the truth that all wisdom and knowledge come from God, and He is the one who equips us for every good work. As it is written in James 1:5, *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* We also remember Proverbs 3:5-6, which reminds us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*
We notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently remind you that it is only through His name that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in Acts 4:12, we are told, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for He alone is the source of true peace, strength, and eternal life. Salvation comes through repenting of your sins and believing in Him—confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9-10).
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of our brother/sister who is preparing to take the NCLEX exam. Lord, You are the giver of all knowledge, understanding, and wisdom, and we ask that You would fill them with Your Holy Spirit to recall all that they have studied. Calm their mind and heart, removing any anxiety or fear, for Your word tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."*
Lord, we ask that You would guide their hands and their thoughts during this exam. Help them to read each question carefully, to recall the information they have learned, and to answer with confidence and clarity. We pray that You would grant them success not for their own glory, but so that they may use their skills and knowledge to serve others and bring honor to Your name. Remind them that their worth and identity are found in You alone, not in the outcome of this test.
We also pray that You would strengthen them physically and mentally during this time. Give them restful sleep, sharp focus, and a peace that passes all understanding. May they feel Your presence with them as they take this exam, knowing that You are their helper and their strength.
Father, we thank You in advance for the victory You are going to grant. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your perfect plan for their life. May they walk in the assurance that You are with them every step of the way. We ask all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek God’s will in all things, including your career. Colossians 3:23 reminds us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."* Whether in passing this exam or in any other area of life, let your ultimate goal be to glorify God and serve others with the gifts He has given you.
If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, turn away from them, and place your trust in Him. He is faithful and just to forgive your sins and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9). There is no greater decision you can make than to follow Jesus, for He alone is the way to eternal life. If you have questions about salvation or would like prayer in this area, please let us know—we would be honored to walk with you in this journey of faith.
