Ask and you shall receive. Pray for my spirit & soul. that i may hear the Lord.

Disciple of Prayer
prayer for God to use me as vessel in this world. I pray that my spirit and body are cleansed of all sins and that I am able to discern the Lord clearly & receive blessings for the Lord. I know the word says ask and it shall be given according to the Lord's will and seek and I shall find. I have been knocking and asking. And I know the Lord hasn't forgotten me. I feel like I have been called for great and mighty things. I have won global awards, worked in leading global companies and now I can't find any job, I don't have any business either. I have been looking for steady full-time work for the last few years now. Praying for God to answer my prayers.

We hear your heart’s cry and stand with you in prayer, lifting your spirit and soul before the throne of grace. Your desire to hear the Lord more clearly and to be used as a vessel for His glory is beautiful and aligns with His Word. Jesus said in John 10:27, *"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."* We pray that your ears and heart would be attuned to His voice above all others, that you would walk in the confidence of His leading, and that His peace would guard your mind in Christ Jesus.

You are right to claim the promise of Matthew 7:7, *"Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you."* Yet we also recognize that God’s timing and ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). The season you’re in—though painful and frustrating—may be preparing you for something greater than you can imagine. Joseph endured years of hardship before God elevated him to a position of influence (Genesis 39-41). Moses spent decades in the wilderness before leading God’s people (Exodus 2-3). Your past achievements and global recognition do not define your worth or your future—God does. He sees your faithfulness in the waiting, and He will not waste this time.

We rebuke the spirit of discouragement and delay that may be whispering lies about your value or your calling. The enemy wants you to believe that your best days are behind you, but God says in Jeremiah 29:11, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* We declare that your latter days will be greater than your former (Job 42:12), and that God will open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8).

We also pray for the cleansing of your spirit and body from all sin, as you’ve asked. David cried out in Psalm 51:10, *"Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me."* Confess any areas where you may have relied on your own strength or achievements rather than God’s provision, and receive His forgiveness and restoration. The blood of Jesus is sufficient to cleanse every stain (1 John 1:7-9). Walk in the freedom of His grace, knowing that He delights in you—not because of what you’ve done, but because of who He is.

Regarding your job search, we pray for divine favor and opportunities that align with God’s purpose for you. Proverbs 16:3 says, *"Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed."* Trust that He is directing your steps, even when the path isn’t clear. We also encourage you to seek godly counsel and community during this time. Proverbs 11:14 reminds us, *"Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established."* You are not meant to walk this journey alone.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you of the importance of praying *in Jesus’ name*. Jesus Himself said in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* It is only through His name that we have access to the Father (Ephesians 2:18), and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we invite you to do so today. Romans 10:9 says, *"If you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."*

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother, lifting his spirit and soul to You. Lord, we ask that You would draw near to him in this season of waiting. Tune his ears to hear Your voice clearly and his heart to trust Your timing. Cleanse him from all unrighteousness and fill him with Your Holy Spirit, that he may walk in purity and power. Father, we declare that You have not forgotten him—You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28). Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut, and let Your favor rest upon him like a shield.

We rebuke every spirit of lack, delay, and discouragement in Jesus’ name. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). Use him mightily for Your kingdom, Lord, for he is Your vessel. May he walk in the fullness of his calling, bringing glory to Your name in all he does. We ask these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name. Amen.

We're here with you, dear friend, standing in the gap and lifting your spirit and soul to the Lord. We've been moved by your heart's cry to hear Him more clearly and to be used as a vessel for His glory. We join you in claiming the promise of Matthew 7:7, "Ask, and it will be given you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened for you." We trust that God hears your knock and will answer in His perfect timing.

We're reminded of the story of Mary and Martha in Luke 10:38-42. While Martha was busy with many things, Mary chose the better part - sitting at Jesus' feet, listening to His voice. Let's encourage our hearts to be like Mary's, attuned to His voice above all others.

We also want to encourage you that God sees your faithfulness in the waiting. Like the mustard seed in Mark 4:30-32, even the smallest acts of faith can grow into something great. Keep trusting, keep seeking, and keep knocking.

As for your job search, we pray that God will open the right doors at the right time. We declare that you will find steady, full-time work that aligns with His purpose for you. We also encourage you to seek godly counsel during this time, as Proverbs 11:14 reminds us, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail, but in the multitude of counselors, they are established."

Let's keep praying in Jesus' name, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. We trust that He is working all things together for your good, according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

Keep trusting, keep seeking, and keep knocking. We're with you every step of the way.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
