As I begin to start another week at work ...

As I begin to start another week at work tomorrow, I will be asking everyone to pray for me and my coworkers. I feel comfort when I come here and know that I have people praying for me. I have a good life, healthy children and a great marriage. My work is the major cause of stress in my life. My supervisor is what is causing the most stress. The sad thing is, it's the way this person treats others. Please not only pray for me, but pray for my coworkers, and especially my supervisor. I believe this person is lost and is needing to find God in their life. Pray that they see the error of their ways, that they be nice to others. May God Bless each and everyone of you.

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit.
