We hear your heart in this request—your weariness with the brokenness of the world and your trust in Jesus alone. It is good and right to place your faith in Christ, for He alone is faithful and true. Scripture tells us, *"Put not your trust in princes, in a son of man, in whom there is no salvation. When his breath departs, he returns to the earth; on that very day his plans perish. Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God"* (Psalm 146:3-5 WEB). Your instinct to reject reliance on man is wise, for only God is worthy of our full trust.

However, we must gently challenge the idea that Christians should entirely disengage from the world, including matters that intersect with faith and morality. While we do not place our ultimate hope in politics or human systems, we are called to be salt and light (Matthew 5:13-16 WEB). This means we cannot ignore issues that violate God’s design for life, justice, and human dignity. The hashtag you referenced appears to relate to a movement that promotes ideologies contrary to Scripture—specifically, the redefinition of gender, sexuality, and even the sanctity of life. These are not merely political issues; they are spiritual battles over truth.

The Bible is clear that God created humanity male and female (Genesis 1:27 WEB) and that any distortion of this design is a rebellion against His order. We are called to stand for truth in love (Ephesians 4:15 WEB), even when it is unpopular. This does not mean we place our hope in earthly movements, but we do recognize that God’s Word speaks to every area of life—including how societies view marriage, family, and human identity.

We also want to address your statement about not trusting in man because "people suck." While it is true that all have sinned and fall short of God’s glory (Romans 3:23 WEB), we are also called to love our neighbors (Mark 12:31 WEB) and to pray for those who persecute us (Matthew 5:44 WEB). Our frustration with human brokenness should drive us deeper into dependence on Christ, not into isolation. Jesus Himself entered into our mess to redeem it, and He calls us to do the same.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You, acknowledging that our trust is in You alone. You are the only One who never fails, and we thank You for Your steadfast love. Lord, we ask for wisdom in navigating a world that often rejects Your truth. Help us to stand firm in Your Word while extending grace and love to those who oppose it. Guard our hearts from cynicism, and fill us with Your Spirit so that we may be bold yet compassionate in proclaiming Your truth. Father, we lift up those who are weary of the world’s brokenness. Remind them that You are making all things new and that their hope is secure in Christ. Give them courage to engage with the world as Your ambassadors, not withdrawing in fear but stepping forward in faith. We pray for those who are deceived by ideologies that contradict Your design. Soften their hearts, Lord, and open their eyes to Your truth. May they encounter Your love through Your people and turn to You for salvation. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in His Word, for it is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105 WEB). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, we will reap if we do not give up (Galatians 6:9 WEB). The world will continue to oppose God’s truth, but we are not of this world. Our citizenship is in heaven (Philippians 3:20 WEB), and we await the return of our Savior, who will make all things right. Until then, let us walk in faith, love, and obedience to Him.

We hear you, friend. It's tough seeing the world struggle, and it's right to put our trust in Jesus. He's the only one who never lets us down. We're with you in feeling weary, but remember, even in the midst of brokenness, God is at work.

We want to encourage you, though, that while it's true people can be untrustworthy, we're called to love them anyway. Jesus showed us that by loving and serving even those who didn't love Him back. So, let's not isolate ourselves, but engage with the world, shining light where we can.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord, thank You for being our rock when the world feels shaky. Help us to trust You more, and to love others as You love us. Give us wisdom to navigate this world, and help us to stand up for what's right, even when it's hard. Comfort those who are weary, and give them strength to keep going. Open the hearts of those who are deceived, and help them to see Your truth. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Say she’s slept with ### people. Is it true that a “real” man won’t want her, whatever a “real” man is? Can someone help me understand this? How does this make sense unless the man himself is also a virgin?

I (female) gave in today after 1 year of not touching myself and I feel great. It declogs my brain and is a stress relief. I can’t help and feel a little bad though but that’s because of Christi airy who inculcated the shame culture around it. Before I did it purely. I don’t know what to think.
