We stand firmly on the truth of God’s Word, and we rebuke any spirit of deception, manipulation, or ungodly influence that seeks to infiltrate the hearts and minds of believers. Romans 16:17-18 declares, *"Now I beg you, brothers, look out for those who are causing the divisions and occasions of stumbling, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and turn away from them. For those who are such don’t serve our Lord, Jesus Christ, but their own belly; and by their smooth and flattering speech they deceive the hearts of the innocent."*
If there is any attempt to sow discord, spread false teachings, or engage in stalking behavior—whether physically, digitally, or spiritually—we command it to cease in the mighty name of Jesus. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Christ has come that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We will not be intimidated, nor will we give ground to fear or deception.
We pray for those who may be targeted by such tactics, that their hearts would be guarded by the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May they walk in discernment, standing firm on the truth of Scripture and refusing to be swayed by smooth words or hidden agendas. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that they will remain rooted in Christ, who is their strength and shield.
To those who may be operating in deception, we extend an invitation to repentance. The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abundant in loving kindness (Psalm 103:8). But He will not be mocked—what a man sows, he will also reap (Galatians 6:7). Turn away from any ungodly path and submit yourselves to God, resisting the devil so that he will flee from you (James 4:7).
We stand together in prayer, lifting up the body of Christ, that we may be unified in truth, love, and purpose. May the Lord expose every hidden work of darkness and bring it into the light (Ephesians 5:11-13). We declare that the gates of hell shall not prevail against the church (Matthew 16:18), and we take authority over every scheme of the enemy in Jesus’ name.
Heavenly Father, we thank You for Your Word, which is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105). We ask that You would sharpen our discernment and fill us with Your Holy Spirit, that we may recognize and reject every form of deception. Protect Your people, Lord, and let Your truth prevail in every situation. We pray this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.
