Beloved of All
🤺🤺Armor of God Eph 6:10-20, Ourselves, Our Families, Leaders, 🐑Pastors, Evangelists, 🌾Churches, Ministry Partners, All Believers; Even 🏛️Government, EVEN "ENEMIES" (Enemies are Opportunities to Show our LOVE for Jesus by praying for their salvation, 2 Tim 2:25-26) -- 📖Utterance to Proclaim Mystery of Gospel Boldly, Eph 6:18-19... 🙇🏻 Father, thank You for The Word and Holy Spirit that instruct us, 2 Tim 3:15-17, John 14:26, so we may not be unaware of the enemy's methods, 2 Cor 2:11. We do submit to You as the church Jesus said the gates of hell cannot stand against, Matt 16:18, and resist the devil, James 4:7, resist him firmly in the faith, 1 Pet 5:8, (Faith in Jesus AND the Authority of His Name, John 14:13-14, Mk 16:15-17, His Word, Matt 24:35, Lk 21:33, and His Position, Matt 28:18, Phil 2:9), so he will flee from us, James 4:7.

We do take the same advice as the other two Apostles, resist AND take up Your Armor 🤺 and stand against, stand, stand firm 🤺 against the schemes of darkness, by faith and patience we inherit the promises, Heb 6:12. We pray it over ourselves first, in submission to Your Word, even as it was the proper example and pattern of Christ, overcoming the devil first on for His own sake in the wilderness, Mt 4:1-11, Mk 1:12-13, Lk 4:1-13, then overcoming the world, flesh and devil 🐲 for the sake of the world, John 16:33.

🛫Knowing it's proper in airplane trips to be admonished to first place the oxygen mask over our own faces prior to assisting others, we pray the following Armor, Your Armor, The Armor of God, on ourselves, Eph 6:10-17, then for others, Eph 6:18-20, applied by faith, as we receive everything else in the same manner, from salvation, Eph 2:8-9, to answered prayer, Mark 11:24, Heb 11:6, James 1:6...

📖 “Finally, brothers and sisters, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the Whole Armor of God🤺, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore take up the Whole Armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with Truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the Gospel of Peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of The Spirit, which is the Word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in The Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— and for the church, that utterance may be given to Your people, that they may open their mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel, for which some are ambassadors in chains; that all may speak boldly, as is fitting to speak," Eph‬ ‭6:11-20‬, thank You in Jesus' Name, Heb 11:6.🤺🤺

We join you wholeheartedly in this prayer and we agree together with you for the putting on of the whole armor of God over ourselves first and then over all those you have lifted up.

We thank God for your understanding of spiritual warfare and for your desire to pray not only for ourselves and our families but for leaders, pastors, evangelists, churches, ministry partners, all believers, and even for those in government and for those who consider themselves our enemies. This is thoroughly biblical and pleasing to the Lord. We are commanded to pray for all men, for kings and all who are in high places, that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence, 1 Tim 2:1-2, and Jesus Himself said to love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, Matt 5:44. You are right that enemies are opportunities to show our love for Jesus by desiring their salvation, for God desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth, 1 Tim 2:4, and we pray that God may perhaps grant them repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth, and they may recover themselves out of the devil's snare, 2 Tim 2:25-26.

We affirm with you that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places, Eph 6:12. Therefore the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds, 2 Cor 10:4. We do submit ourselves to God, we resist the devil and he will flee from us, James 4:7, and we resist him steadfast in the faith, 1 Pet 5:9, by faith in Jesus and the authority of His name and His Word which will never pass away, Matt 24:35, and His position far above all rule and authority, Eph 1:21, Phil 2:9.

We love your illustration of the oxygen mask, for it is wise to first be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might ourselves, Eph 6:10, and to have our own feet shod with the preparation of the Good News of peace, Eph 6:15, before we intercede for others with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, Eph 6:18. We inherit the promises through faith and perseverance, Heb 6:12, and we do take up the whole armor by faith, just as we receive salvation by grace through faith, Eph 2:8, believing that we receive when we pray, Mark 11:24.

We pray together with you now.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace with thanksgiving for Your Word and for Your Holy Spirit who teaches us all things, John 14:26, and makes us not ignorant of the enemy's schemes, 2 Cor 2:11. We put on Your whole armor by faith. We gird our waists with truth, for Your Word is truth, John 17:17, and Jesus is the truth, John 14:6. We put on the breastplate of righteousness, for we have been made the righteousness of God in Christ, 2 Cor 5:21. We shod our feet with the preparation of the Good News of peace, that we may be ready to proclaim it. Above all we take up the shield of faith, with which we will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the evil one, Eph 6:16, and we take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is Your Word, Eph 6:17, that living and active Word sharper than any two-edged sword, Heb 4:12.

We pray this armor over ourselves, over our households, over our marriages and children, over our pastors and evangelists and every member of the body of Christ, over our ministry partners and all the saints. We pray it over those in government, that they may be granted wisdom and may govern with justice and that the Gospel may run freely. And we pray for those who oppose us and oppose the Gospel, that You would open their eyes and grant them repentance unto life. We ask that utterance may be given to us and to all Your people that we may open our mouths boldly to make known the mystery of the Good News, Eph 6:19, for which we are ambassadors, 2 Cor 5:20, that we may speak boldly as we ought to speak.

We thank You that the church which Jesus builds, the gates of Hades will not prevail against it, Matt 16:18, and that He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world, 1 John 4:4. We stand therefore, having done all, to stand, Eph 6:13, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who has all authority in heaven and on earth, Matt 28:18, amen.

We appreciate the breadth of your heart in this prayer, lifting yourselves, your families, pastors and churches, ministry partners, and even those you would call enemies before the Lord. It is a beautiful picture of love that wants no one left uncovered.

We hear in your words the desire to first stand firm yourselves before you help others stand, and that order matters. Putting on the armor is not a one time effort we try to get right, but a daily training we grow into over time, like learning to walk steadily in what Christ has already provided. Some days it will feel strong and clear, other days more like simply choosing to remain faithful in prayer when you do not feel much at all. Both are part of growing.

One simple way to keep this from feeling overwhelming is to let the breadth you named become a rhythm. Perhaps choose one group each day to hold specifically before the Lord together with another believer, so you are both praying and knowing someone is praying with you. That shared prayer often steadies us more than praying alone.

Father, we thank You for this brother or sister and for their care for so many. We ask You to cover them and their household with Your peace and protection, to give wisdom and endurance to the leaders and pastors they named, and to draw those who do not yet know You to Yourself. Keep them all close to You and help them to walk in Your strength day by day. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer for the whole armor of God is both scriptural and seasonable, and I do heartily join with you in it. You have done well to begin where the apostle begins, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might, for our strength lies not in ourselves but in Him who has already overcome the world, the flesh and the devil for us.

You rightly see that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers and spiritual wickedness in high places. Satan is the cunning ape of God and would counterfeit the peace of God with a false peace of his own, and he can even quote Scripture when it suits his purpose. Therefore we need discerning hearts and the whole armor, not a piece here and there, that we may be able to stand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

How needful then to take hold of God Himself, not merely of a creed or a church, but of the God who reveals Himself in the person and work of His incarnate Son. Every word of the gospel is backed by the authority of the King eternal, and it publishes salvation to the most ungodly. Take hold of Him through those gospel declarations by faith, for by faith we receive everything from salvation to answered prayer, and by faith and patience we inherit the promises. Not content with searching the Word alone, carry everything you find there to God in prayer, and say, Lord, teach me Your statutes, that I may know the truth by the teaching of Your Spirit in my own heart.

So let us pray as you have asked. May the Lord gird our waists with truth, that we love and speak His truth at any cost, rather than nourish our souls on lies. May He cover us with the breastplate of righteousness, even the righteousness of Christ imputed and imparted. May our feet be shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace, the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which alone gives that peace which passes all understanding. Above all, may we take the shield of faith to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one, and the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God.

And let us pray always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful with all perseverance. I will pray this armor over you and your household, and over pastors and evangelists and churches and ministry partners and all the saints, that utterance may be given to make known the mystery of the gospel with boldness, as we ought to speak. I will pray it also for those set in government, and even for those who count themselves our enemies, remembering that enemies are opportunities to show our love for Jesus by praying for their salvation, that God may grant them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth and deliverance from the snare of the devil.

May the Lord hear us as we submit ourselves to Him and resist the devil firmly in the faith, trusting in the authority of the name of Jesus, the truth of His Word which shall not pass away, and His exalted position to whom all power is given. Then the promise stands, he will flee from us. May Christ who overcame the tempter in the wilderness for His own sake, and overcame the world for our sake, keep you standing firm to His glory, till faith becomes sight before the throne.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your prayer and we join you in it, for it is right and according to Scripture to ask for the armor of God.

This warfare is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness, and therefore the armor is not of hides and steel but of truth and righteousness and faith and love of wisdom. God Himself is our Commander, standing by ever ready to help, unconquerable, and He has furnished us with strong arms. Our bodies and our lives are not evil in themselves, for they can be made instruments of righteousness when we yield them to Him with a noble purpose and an obedient heart.

We pray with you first for ourselves, as our Lord first overcame the enemy in the wilderness before He overcame the world for our sake, and as you have said, as one must first take air before helping another to breathe. We ask the Father to gird us with truth, to cover us with the breastplate of righteousness, to shod our feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace which is a virtuous life that makes ready the way for the good news, to lift up the shield of faith to quench every fiery dart, to cover us with the helmet of salvation, and to put in our hand the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. We ask for a sober and watchful spirit, for the conflict is grievous and we must not be found laughing and careless but awake and earnest.

And then we pray this same armor over our families, over leaders and pastors and evangelists, over churches and ministry partners, over all believers, over those in government, and even over those who call themselves our enemies. For enemies we do not pray that God would bless their wrongdoing, but that He would grant them repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ alone, who is the only way of salvation, that they may come to know the truth. For families we pray that God would strengthen them according to His design, marriage being the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, and all intimacy belonging within that covenant alone, that homes would be clothed in light and not in filthy garments.

We pray also with you for utterance, that God would open our mouths to speak boldly the mystery of the gospel, for which we are ambassadors, whether in ease or in chains. May He give us perseverance in prayer for all the saints, and may He use each talent He has given, whether protection or teaching or giving, for the common good and for His glory.

We stand with you, resisting the devil firmly in faith in Jesus and in the authority of His name and His Word and His risen position, submitting to God that the enemy must flee, and trusting that having done all, we may stand. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, in whom alone is salvation, and to whom be glory forever. Amen.

Thank you for sharing such a thorough and faithful prayer. Your heart to put on the armor of God first for yourself and then for your family, for leaders and pastors and all believers, and even for those in government and those who oppose you, reflects exactly what Scripture teaches about spiritual battle.

The Word makes it clear that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers and spiritual wickedness. That is why the weapons of our warfare cannot be carnal. Trying in our own strength or willpower to overcome discouragement, temptation or conflict will not prevail. God has given us spiritual weapons that are mighty through Him to pull down strongholds, to cast down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and to bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

Paul urges us to be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might and to put on the whole armor of God so we can stand against the wiles of the devil. Satan is a crafty foe, and God has provided a complete covering. The belt of truth holds everything together, for we stand in the truth of His Word. The breastplate of righteousness guards the heart, not our own righteousness but the righteousness given to us through faith in Jesus. The feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace enables us to stand firm and to carry the good news that sinners can have peace with God through Christ. The shield of faith quenches the fiery darts of the wicked one. The helmet of salvation protects the mind with the assurance of what Christ has done. And the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, is both our defense and our means to advance against the enemy's hold in lives. When that Word is dwelling in your heart, you have an answer for every attack.

Along with the armor, God has given us prayer. Prayer in the Spirit with all perseverance is how the armor is applied day by day by faith, just as we receive salvation and every other promise, by simply believing what God has said and acting on it. As you noted, we submit ourselves to God first, then resist the devil firmly in faith, trusting in the authority of the name of Jesus, the truth of His Word, and His exalted position with all authority in heaven and earth. When we come against the enemy on the ground of the victory Christ won at the cross, Satan must yield and will flee.

Your pattern of praying the armor over yourself first follows the example of Christ, who overcame the enemy in the wilderness for Himself before He went forth to overcome for the sake of others, and it is wise and biblical. We must walk in that strength ourselves before we can effectively intercede for others.

It is right to extend this intercession to all the saints, to families, to those who lead and teach, to ministry partners, and also to pray for those in authority and for those who consider themselves enemies. We do not pray against people, but against the spiritual darkness that holds them. Praying for their salvation, that God would grant repentance and open eyes blinded by the enemy, is one of the greatest ways to show the love of Jesus. And praying for utterance and boldness to make known the mystery of the gospel is exactly what Paul requested for himself and for the church, that we would speak as we ought to speak.

Continue to draw near to God and He will draw near to you. You do not need to remain harassed. You have authority through Jesus Christ to stand, to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Keep taking up the whole armor by faith each day, keep the Word before you, and keep praying with perseverance for all people. The Lord who taught us to watch and pray will be your strength and your defense.
