Armed School Security Guards AND Metal Detectors Instead of New Books, Computers, Gymnasiums, Theatres, Immediately

An armed school resource officer contained the shooting (think about not only how many lives were saved because of this simple fact — Armed security — but how many lives would have been saved in each previous school shooting if the same resource were available)...


This is only half the equation... If there were metal detectors set up (like you can’t leave a CVS with a marked tag) there would have been no shooting because there’d have been no gun allowed past them...

We ask for wisdom to implement this immediately in Jesus’ Name — children’s lives are more important than new computers and more modern theatres and gymnasiums — or even newer schools and additional hallways (wings)...

This will solve the problem immediately and is an immediate answer because guns are already in people’s hands now and to take away guns from honest people would allow only the dishonest have them...

Put one armed policeman in the school and scan students when they walk in the building or this will continue — the choice is up to the school and parents and government but this would halt the shootings immediately...

Yes I know about the video games but they are already out there, too, and I know about counseling but this would take much longer than to immediately have hand scanners and an armed guard — sorry budget planners, reallocate the funds from pay raises to security and Metal Detectors — there have been 17 school shootings since Jan 1st alone in this country...

II am not certain this thought expresses an understanding of United Stares History, an understanding of how difficult and lengthy it is to overturn an Amendment to the US Constitution, the mind of a criminal or the power of authority...

Guns are already on the streets and in about half the homes in America. They are also on the streets, unregistered. Access to firearms is a given in the US by our 2nd Amendment 250 years ago...

The presence of firearms is already established, not only legally, but illegally — and since someone who would bring a gun into school with the intent of shooting others could easily purchase a gun illegally, even if they were banned — that wouldn’t stop criminal behavior but would only keep honest people, not killers, from getting or having guns...

Since they are already guns all over America, Let’s keep them out of schools like we keep them out of courts and airports — with Authority: Armed Security and Metal Detectors. This would work instantly where it would take a hundred years to get firearms out of the country and they are already being brought in illegally from over the border.

Since there will be over 50 police officers, sheriffs, paramedics and agents after the next school shooting to clean up the mess, why not just send one or two trained authority figures there in advance to prevent It from occurring?

No they do not have anything like an entrance to a courtroom or an airplane or there would be zero incidents just like in courtrooms and airplanes. You can’t just cruise into a back door of a courtroom like Cruz did at the Parkland Shooting...

NONE OF THIS WOUKD HAVE OCCURRED IF THERE WAS A SINGLE ENTRANCE TO A BUILDING FOR EVERYONE, GREETING BY A PAIR OF ARMED GUARDS AND ENTRANCE THROUGH METAL DETECTORS. Sorry, it might take an extra half hour but I think the parents who have lost children would have preferred that!

It is much easier to prevent massacres than to clean them up, the cost of human attrition (loss) is far more than holding back on salary raises, new computer networks and building new auditoriums, gymnasiums and whole schools.

It would cost less to actually staff armed security and actual metal detectors (that work like in courtrooms) than to clean up and bury 9-27 fatalities. That’s what I am talking about.

**On the redemptive side, this good legislation did come about as a result of this tragedy. “On March 9, Governor Rick Scott signed a bill that raised the minimum age for buying rifles in Florida to 21, established waiting periods and background checks, allowed for the arming of qualified teachers and the hiring of school police, banned bump stocks and barred some potentially violent or mentally unstable people from possessing guns.[7]”

Hiring school police can happen overnight whereas repealing and replacing the 2nd Amendment to The Constitution would not solve anything, would take years to happen and not reduce illegal guns at all as I have stated and explained, above. This guy could have bought an illegal gun in Miami or Ft Lauderdale in less than an hour. Please read all the content above and the Wikipedia site and others. Please pray these measures are enacted and evil people and demons are bound (2 Thes 3:1-3). Thank you.

When I came to this country it was unheard something like this happening in our schools, children killing children but then prayers were allowed in the schools and now they aren't, God is not allowed in our schools either. The devil got the upper hand because Christians stayed silenced. And now the children are terrified as well as their parents. The solution is bringing prayer back to the schools and God will take care of the rest.

They don't have prayer in Courtrooms but no one comes in with guns and kills everyone...

A. They have a single entrance to a court building, Armed Deputy Sheriffs at a fixed place where everyone enters through METAL DETECTORS & Armed Court Bailiffs in the courtrooms...

I agree with prayer in schools, btw... This is an immediate solution, though...
