It would be a good idea to have a couple licensed security guards (uniformed Policemen, SWAT and/or Troopers already on the force and possibly one plain clothed) in schools, churches and other indoor / outdoor places where people congregate and peacefully do their schooling, praying, worshiping, hear their preaching, do their reading, studying or their listening to concerts or their birthday or Christmas shopping... It would need little to no extra expenditures of money (since there are already ample servicemen, officers and agents enlisted, on the payroll and on duty) and the return on investment (ROI) would be inestimable (Human Lives Saved & Loss of Human Lives Prevented [zero attrition])...
If we can spend millions and millions and millions (billions and billions) of dollars building new schools, stadiums, bridges and highways, we certainly can do something that any CVS or Wal-mart or other shopping store has so you can't walk out with tagged merchandise (metal detectors), just on a little heavier scale, to ward off weapons in areas where only authorized or permitted people should have them... We should definitely do so also for schools, college campuses, libraries & et cetera... Nothing wrong with metal detectors, deputy sheriffs, local or state law enforcement to be present in a public situation (just like in a public court room, for instance -- or before boarding an airplane) for certain other areas either...
Also, we have thousands of accurately certified rifleman in The National Guard and in The Army Reserves on hand at any given moment throughout the country... Let's put some of these in bullet proof shelters at outdoor and indoor civic areas? It would truncate the time someone has to attempt to carry out evil plans for larger, public or paid events... Las Vegas would have had a sniper pick him off in less than one (1) minute!
Also, how about allowing us to start checking baggage in Trains just like Airports? Anyone from anywhere can bring anything aboard a train without any screening at all. Did you just read that? It's true. I have been riding public transportation and Amtrak trains now for about forty (40) years, and to this date, even boarding at Grand Central Station in NYC has absolutely no screening or requires any ID when the conductor eventually comes by to scan your phone for your boarding pass. You could literally be anyone from anywhere carrying whatever you want in your bags and no one even raises an eyebrow. I suggest an immediate influx of Metal detectors, scanners and Federal Agents for Amtrak, and either State or Local Law Enforcement for Subways, buses and transit authorities! Believe me this is a disaster waiting to happen. I will not use another train until this is implemented. Trains carry about two (2) times the amount of passengers that an airplane does, if not three (3) to four (4) times or more depending on the airplane and city (like Tokyo, for example)...
Let's pray for these things to occur! They are easy and affordable solutions to practical, bleeding, issues right now, and require no further laws, which the wicked don't keep anyway, as 1 Tim 1:9-10 says... "We realize that law is not enacted for the righteous, but for the lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinful, for the unholy and profane, for killers of father or mother, (OR MOTHER-IN LAWS) for murderers, for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave traders and liars and perjurers, and for anyone else who is averse to sound teaching" (1 Tim 1:9-10).
Father we pray in obedience to You for Kings and all in Authority (1 Tim 2:1-4): Our President (Currently President Trump and his Cabinet), Our Congress (Unity), Court Justices & Nominees (Federal, State & Local -- Give us justices that uphold the original intent of the U.S. Constitution without distorting it just like we need pastors that do uphold the original Intent and Teaching of The Bible)... We ask for Your Protection over Our Military, Generals, Law Enforcement, Every Branch of Special Agents and Their Families.
We pray for the Protection of Our Pastors, Worship Leaders, Elders, Deacons and Fellow Lay People and all their and our family members, friends and communities (Your arm is NOT too short, Isaiah 59:1)... Please be with the injured and grieving in Texas, may their faith not fail and may they strengthen their brothers and sisters (Luke 22:32). Lead them and all of us NOT into temptation, but deliver us from evil (Matt 6:13).
