Are you ready to face the truth? Pagan not christian origine of EASTER!

The same could be said of Christmas. What does Santa Claus and elves reindeers flying through the sky, etc, have to do with anything? But some Christians say they know the truth about it, but their reasoning is they feel it's a victory by "taking over" the pagan day with a Christian theme.{The same with Halloween, they admit it came from a pagan day, but their version of it is if they dress as Biblical figures on Halloween, instead of witches, etc. they're doing Gods will by "taking over" the holiday. These things have been a matter of debate for a long time. P.S,--like because the Bible was translated into English in places like England, it's worded "Thou shalt do this," and "thee" that. But that's not quoted exactly as said, because it took place in Israel.I'm certain Jesus never said, "Ye" shall do this and that. The translater put it in the mode of their language, but it wasn't original.

Praise be to God that someone sees the truth. I am congratulating people Happy Easter, but only to unbelievers because they will probably not understand or not be able to accept what is truth in the Bible but to Christians we must say the truth, if they like it or not. Ok, there is always people who are not mature in Christ, or to young and not having revelations about something and i only mention it and put it aside, but to mature Christians we should tell the truth and stand on our ground. Jesus said, that we should be like Him and i dont think that Jesus will take over pagan hollydays. He would walk on earth and do good, and heal the sick and raise the dead, pray for people, etc....not painting eggs or drowing rabbits, or that Jesus would dress as Moses on a halloween, haha, it is ridiculous. No masquerade please!!! We should be open, honest, simple and genuine and first of all truthfull to God and His word.
What "thee" and "thou" concerns, people should be smart enough to see that the language is changing through the time, and the words that they used back then are not any more the same today. Some Christians have like some kind of limitations in logical thinking, right?

When you read this carefully, you will maybe be disguasted by what you have done in the Easter time...who knows....If you are ready to hear the truth...What is really standing behind traditions, eggs, bunnies?

I deeply believe that what happened to Jesus Christ was according to God's plan as evidenced in various prophecies in the old Testament; and witnessed in the new testament. My focus is on the journey of Jesus from birth up to His crucifiction. During lent Jesus went through various seasons that lead to His crucifiction. Commemorating the birth and crucifiction of Jesus is a Christian way of affirmation. What pagans do is their own belief. We Christians affirm that Jesus is the Son of God; our saviour and redeemer from deadly sin. There is no doubt about that. I reject the antichrist teaching. I know that Jesus is my Lord and King.

(Most Churches I know call it Resurrection Sunday). Seems no one has mentioned the main point of the Christian Celebration (not the childish eggs and bunnies), but what Paul mentions below as The Back-bone of The Gospel of God and the MAIN thing that differs Jesus from any mere "prophet" or "religious leader" or Christianity from any other religion -- The Resurrection of Jesus, The Messiah, from The Dead.

"Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, and set apart for The Gospel of God, 2 which He promised beforehand through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures, 3 regarding His Son, who was a descendant of David according to the flesh, 4 who through the Spirit of Holiness was declared to be the Son of God in Power by His resurrection from the dead: Jesus Christ our Lord.

5 Through Him and on behalf of His name, we received grace and apostleship to call all those among the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith. 6 And you also are among those who are called to belong to Jesus Christ.

7 To all in Rome who are loved by God and called to be saints:

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ."

Romans 1:1-7

All Christians do not worship Easter or Thanks Giving Day or Christmas. We worship the Lord who rose from the dead and gave us the promise that we shall not die but live. Satan is out there to tell us everything we believe is a lie and what Jesus said will not happen and there is no heaven and there is no earth, and churches are not mention in the bible so why have a church at all. So, many fall into this lies and do not want to return to the Lord. This is really a sign of the last days where everything we do, say or believe is not true, is false and deny God and His power to save, heal and make our hearts full of peace and joy. Do not believe a lie. Do not trust others unless it is bible truth. Remember, heaven and earth shall pass away but Jesus words shall never ever pass away.

Yes, in the meantime, i found scriptures that justify your approach, i cannot remember how it goes, something like, if you are doing it for the Lord Jesus Christ, whatever you do, its ok, if you are convinced you can celebrate any day you want resurrection (i believe also that it should not contradict the word of God to). Me personaly, i am not partaking in the celebration of the world, like in their tv masses, hectic about eating this and that, or making eggs and rabbits, i find that celebrating Jesus resurrection is found in taking communion, i simply walk in the spirit and do what he tells me, as much as possible. I simply dont want to partake in the worlds ceremonies, if you know what i mean. Tradition is one thing faith is the other. Tradition doesnt gives life, faith does. Tradition is the part of religion, what man have established. Someone came one day to the idea to celebrate resurrection day and we took it. It is not really established by the word of God or by the Holy spirit. This is my standpoint. God bless you...

I don’t think the devil came up with the idea to remind the church or the world that Jesus The Messiah rose from the dead

But think about it, is it the real meaning of christian life to celebrate one day in the year the resurrection of the Lord? Should it not be every day in praise and worship and taking communion, it is a pitiful christianity if we do it only once a year, do you see what i am talking about? Yes, the devil can offer one thing to distract us from the real deal, seducing us, have you not heard for false prophets, false Jesus es, and false gospel?..It is similar to the original, but it takes away the power....religion does that. There is the evil spirit of religion operating in the world, and we should be careful of it. Jesus was against religion. It has no power.

Yes, as it is written, "And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you" Rom 8:11... and, "So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day" (2 Cor 4:16). So the Bible has already established the resurrection benefits us daily...

It's just that we have to pick our battles -- God in his sovereignty has allowed The Resurrection of Jesus to be proclaimed and celebrqted yearly -- I have seen a LOT of people come to faith after watching graphic Passion Plays that show the last days or hours of Jesus' earthly ministry and the resurrection and have alter calls at the end. This celebration is not going away anytime soon, so we might as well use it to give out tracts about the resurrection, invite unbelievers to Passion plays and focus on the resurrection during this period. It's not a bad thing for a Christian -- use it to further the Gospel, Kingdom and distinguish Jesus from every other human that has died in that He has been raised...

Dear Father in Heaven, I pray that as committed Christians, we live consistently and truthfully according to Your Word Lord and not be swept away by the waves of godless ignorance storming all around us, especially during this holiday season.  I pray that You bestow upon us strength of faith...
