You know what?We read the signs of demon possession, and we think of foaming at the mouth, throwing yourself on the ground, superhuman strength, leaning towards extreme evil works,{maybe a serial killer or the Moslem terrorists, etc}.But although those are the "popular"traits focused on, I see other things that might qualify.Now...my personal feelings aside, because I always thought people who disagree with me are "not wrapped too tight",but besides giving just "opinions", I give "backup"to my thoughts, with certain facts. So here goes this one--I personally hate being busy, especially if the busyness turns out to be more than I expected,or goes on for along time, and consistently, day after day.BUT most people I hear talk,or even read about, somehow are brainwashed to think that being over the top constantly busy is a badge of honor.they say things like,I drive myself every day to "accomplish" this and that, and --here it comes--they "feel guilty" if they relax and have time for themselves{Also, they worship money,so they, unlike me, can't see that with that money they don't have time to enjoy it because they're always trapped at the job.} So here's the thing--these "type A personalitys"who, even when off, feel "unpreductive"if they have some "downtime", and the restlessness, and "can't sit still" syndrome, is that maybe demonically influenced? {Like, the restlessness, the feelings of guilt when getting a chance to relax]. After all, don't we read in the Bible,"You shall work 6 days, on the 7th YOU SHALL REST"And if God sets the standard for us, after creating the world, didn't He "rest on the seventh day?"And doesn't the Bible say,"the wicked are like the troubled sea, always casting up mire."How about Rest in the Lord"I've heard people say if they have time, they might think unwanted thoughts. So a lot of this drive for activity is an anxiety. But a Christian can rest with a clear conscience. they don't feel anxiety every time they get some time for themselves. So is this restlessness just another deception of the devil, to keep them "too busy" to focus on Godly things?{Also,it seems similar to a legalistic "works gospel"--they think working makes them a "better person." But an unsaved person can work 24/7 and still go to Hell. Salvation doesn't come from working{or doing things} 24 hours a day.
