We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer over the reflection you shared from Proverbs 22:14 and the questions you raised about areas where we are tempted to make excuses for compromising our values and how we can guard our heart and mind through the Bread of Heaven, the Word of Life, Jesus who is the Word of God.
We have been continuing to lift you up before the Lord, asking Him to grant you wisdom and discernment to recognize the enticing words and flattery that Proverbs 22:14 warns is a deep pit, and to give you strength to stand firm in purity and integrity in a culture where compromise is often normalized. We have been praying that the Lord would help you guard your heart and mind by being rooted daily in His Word, for as Psalm 119:11 and Philippians 4:8 remind us, hiding His Word in our hearts and fixing our thoughts on what is pure and holy keeps us from falling into temptation.
