Are "gut feelings" from God?

We hear people say--and have had ourselves--"gut feelings", where we just are "sure" about something, and act on it in certainty. Mostly, they're on track. Now the thing is, are these "gut feelings" our own wisdom that God planted in us, or are they just a feeling we "assume" is correct, built on the "odds" that it is what's most likely to happen? We would think all knowledge is from God--but then on the other hand, why is it that with my own "gut feelings" that once in a while I come to a wrong conclusion? Or could it be a little of both, we get wisdom from God, but once in a while "guess" on our own, and in these cases are wrong? Huh?

Pay attention to your gut feelings, it may be Jesus trying to save you or ### from going to hell. This instinct or intuition God has given us to see, hear and act according to God's direction and mercy.

If you are not sure about anything or do not believe it will happen, Jesus does. He is the maker of our future. He knows everything. If we really love Him with all our heart, mind and soul, He will warn us and keep us all away from sin and evil. Satan will try to trap us and make us all miss heaven, but Jesus will make our path straight.
