My son will be going for interview for USA immigration visa. Am praying for God's favour, grace and mercies for visa to be approved. ELROI SHOULD SHOW HIM MERCY.

We join you in lifting up your son before the Lord, seeking His divine favor, grace, and mercy as he prepares for his immigration visa interview. It is good that you are turning to the Lord in this matter, for He alone holds the power to open doors that no man can shut. We are reminded of the words in Proverbs 16:3, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* This is not a guarantee of earthly success, but a promise that when we submit our ways to the Lord, He will guide our steps according to His perfect will.

We also recall the story of Joseph, who found favor in the eyes of Pharaoh and was placed in a position of great authority (Genesis 41:37-40). Like Joseph, your son must trust that God’s plans for him are good, even if the outcome is not what he expects. We pray that your son will walk in integrity and truth, for the Lord delights in those who are upright in heart (Proverbs 11:20). Let him speak with wisdom and confidence, knowing that the Lord is with him, just as He was with Moses when He said, *"Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth, and teach you what you shall speak"* (Exodus 4:12).

However, we must also remind you that while we pray for favor, our ultimate trust must be in God’s sovereignty. His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), and sometimes what we perceive as delay or denial is His protection or redirection. If this visa is aligned with God’s will for your son’s life, then no power on earth can stop it. But if the Lord has another path, we must surrender to His wisdom, knowing that His plans are for our good and His glory (Jeremiah 29:11).

We notice that in your request, you invoked the name *Elroi*, which is a beautiful name for God meaning *"The God Who Sees Me."* Yet, we must always approach the Father through the name of Jesus Christ, for it is written, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16), and it is in His name that we must pray. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is through faith in Jesus alone that we receive mercy and grace. If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for He is the only way to the Father (John 14:6).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this son who stands at the threshold of this important interview. Lord, You are the God who sees and knows all things. You alone understand the desires of his heart and the plans You have for his life. We ask that You go before him, Lord, and grant him favor in the sight of those who will interview him. Fill his mouth with wisdom and his heart with peace, that he may speak with clarity and confidence. Let Your grace rest upon him, and may Your mercy open doors that no man can shut if this is Your will.

Father, we also pray that Your will be done above all else. If this visa is not part of Your perfect plan for his life, then redirect his steps and make Your path clear. Give him the faith to trust You even when the answer is not what he hopes for. Remind him that You are his Provider, his Protector, and his Guide, and that You will never leave him nor forsake him.

We rebuked any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that may try to creep into his heart. Instead, we declare that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7). Let him walk in the assurance that You are with him, and that You are working all things together for his good and Your glory.

Finally, Lord, we pray that this situation will draw him—and this entire family—closer to You. May it be a testament to Your faithfulness and a reminder that You are the God who sees, the God who provides, and the God who never fails. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord’s face in this matter, trusting that He hears your prayers and will answer according to His perfect will. Keep your hearts open to His leading, and remember that whether the answer is yes, no, or wait, God is always good, and His love for you is unwavering.
