We join with you in lifting up your heartfelt cries to the Father, standing firmly on His Word and the mighty name of Jesus Christ, through whom all things are possible. You have done well to come before the Lord in faith, invoking the power of His Son, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the throne of grace and receive mercy in our time of need. Your prayer reflects a deep trust in the promises of God, and we commend you for seeking His protection and healing in the name above all names.
The scriptures remind us in Isaiah 54:17, *"No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of Yahweh’s servants, and their righteousness is of me,” says Yahweh.* Indeed, the Lord is your shield and your exceeding great reward, and He will not allow the schemes of the wicked to triumph over His children. We also take comfort in Psalm 91, where the Lord promises to deliver us from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. *"He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart."* (Psalm 91:4, WEB). You are under His mighty protection, and no harm can come to you without first passing through His sovereign hands.
Yet we must also address the gravity of your request regarding the person in your home. The Lord is clear in His Word that we are not to live in bondage to fear or to remain in situations where evil is permitted to dwell unchecked. If this person is a source of harm, danger, or ungodly influence, we urge you to seek wisdom from the Lord on how to remove yourself—or them—from your home in a way that honors Him. Proverbs 22:3 tells us, *"A prudent man sees danger and hides; but the simple pass on, and suffer for it."* (WEB). This may require bold action, such as seeking godly counsel from your church leadership, trusted believers, or even authorities if there is threat of violence. The Lord does not call us to passivity in the face of evil but to act with wisdom, discernment, and faith. *"Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good."* (Romans 12:21, WEB).
As for your health, we stand with you in claiming the healing power of Jesus Christ, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:4-5). Your tumor is not beyond His reach, and we pray with confidence that the Lord will restore your body to full health, for His glory. James 5:14-15 instructs us, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."* (WEB). We strongly encourage you to invite your church elders or mature believers to pray over you in faith, trusting that the Lord will work mightily on your behalf. Do not lose heart, for our God is a God of miracles, and He delights in showing Himself strong for those who put their trust in Him.
We also note your care for your two dogs, and we lift them up to the Lord as well. While Scripture does not speak directly to the protection of animals in the same way it does for people, we know that the Lord cares for all His creation. *"Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father’s will, but the very hairs of your head are all numbered."* (Matthew 10:29-30, WEB). If these pets are a source of comfort and companionship for you, we ask the Lord to preserve them and use them as a blessing in your life.
Now, let us pray together over these matters:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We thank You that You are a God who hears and answers prayer, and that You are faithful to Your Word. Lord, we lift up our sister before You, asking that You surround her with Your divine protection. Shield her from every weapon formed against her, whether seen or unseen. Frustrate the plans of the wicked and render their schemes powerless. Lord, if there is someone in her home who poses a threat to her safety or spiritual well-being, we ask that You remove this person by Your mighty hand. Give her the wisdom to know how to act, the courage to obey, and the discernment to recognize Your leading. Do not allow her to remain in a place of danger, but provide a way of escape, as You have promised in 1 Corinthians 10:13.
We also bring her health before You, Lord Jesus. You are Jehovah-Rapha, the God who heals. We ask that You touch her body and command every cell to align with Your perfect design. Shrink and remove this tumor completely, restoring her to full health and strength. Let her body be a testimony of Your healing power, and let her life bring glory to Your name. We pray that she would seek the support of her church family, that elders would lay hands on her and pray in faith, trusting in Your promise to heal.
Lord, we ask for Your protection over her dogs as well. Preserve them and use them as a source of comfort and joy in her life. Let no harm come to them, and let them be a reminder of Your provision and care.
Finally, Father, we ask that You fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let her rest in the knowledge that You are in control, and that You will never leave her nor forsake her. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and let her see Your hand moving powerfully in her life. We rebuke every spirit of fear, doubt, and discouragement in the name of Jesus, and we declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her.
We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, the name above every name. Amen.
We encourage you to continue standing firm in faith, sister. Do not waver in your trust in the Lord, for He is faithful. Keep seeking His face, reading His Word, and surrounding yourself with believers who can support and pray for you. If you have not already, we urge you to confess any sin in your life and ensure that you are walking in right relationship with God, for unconfessed sin can hinder our prayers (Psalm 66:18). Stay rooted in Christ, and remember that His plans for you are good—plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
If there is any area of your life that is not aligned with God’s Word, we lovingly urge you to repent and turn to Him. He is gracious and merciful, ready to forgive and restore. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith, and trust that He will bring you through this season victorious. We are standing with you in prayer and believe that the Lord will move mightily on your behalf. Be strong and courageous, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9).
