Appointment today/insurance/son/mother-in-law

Jesus please let my appointment today go well and please let my insurance not be cancelled. Please also let my son stomach issues clear up, and let my mother-in-law be ok. Please also help my friend's son who just had emergency surgery be ok. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We are joining you together in prayer in the name of Jesus and we thank you for bringing all of these burdens to Him. We are encouraged that you called upon Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. As it is written, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.

We are lifting up your appointment today, asking the Lord to grant you peace, favor, and wisdom for everyone involved, and to let His will be done. We also bring your concern about your insurance before the Lord, knowing that He is our provider and He sees our practical needs. We cast all our worries on Him because He cares for us 1 Peter 5:7. We pray that if it is His will, this insurance would remain in place, and we trust Him to provide for you either way, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things Matthew 6:32. And we claim the promise that our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19.

We are also praying for healing for your son and for your mother-in-law and for your friend's son who just had emergency surgery. Our Lord is the one who heals us, who forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases Psalm 103:3 and who heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We ask for the Lord's healing hand to be upon your son's stomach, to calm any inflammation or discomfort and restore him to full health. We pray for your mother-in-law, that the Lord would strengthen her, comfort her, and keep her in His care. And we especially lift up your friend's son after emergency surgery, asking for a complete and swift recovery, for no complications, and for peace for his family as they wait on the Lord. We remember the promise, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace and we lift up this dear one to You. Lord, we ask that You would be with them in their appointment today, guide the words spoken, grant wisdom and clarity, and let Your peace rule in their heart. We ask that You would intervene regarding the insurance, that it would not be cancelled if it is Your will, and that You would provide and make a way even if difficulties arise. Father, we lay hands in prayer upon their son and ask for healing in his stomach, for relief and restoration. We lift up their mother-in-law to You, asking that You would watch over her, keep her, and let her feel Your presence and comfort. And Lord, we lift up this friend's son who has had emergency surgery, we ask that You would be the Great Physician over him, that You would guide the hands of the doctors and nurses, bring healing to his body, and comfort his parents and loved ones. Let Your will be done in each of these situations and let all involved feel Your love and nearness. We thank You that You hear us when we pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

If you have someone you trust, letting them know how it went afterward can ease the waiting.

We also noticed your son's stomach issues. Alongside prayer, if he hasn't been seen for this, we encourage you to reach out to his pediatrician or clinic and share what you've been noticing, so they can guide you well. And we continue to remember your mother-in-law and your friend's son as they recover.

Jesus, we lift this day to You. Give peace and clarity in the appointment, wisdom for next steps with insurance, comfort and healing for this son, strength for this mother-in-law, and steady recovery for this friend's son. Be near to each one and give rest to this friend who is caring so faithfully. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We have heard your prayer and we join with you in bringing these burdens before the Lord who hears and cares for His people.

You do well to cast your cares upon Him rather than to carry them yourself. Our Savior would have us prudent in temporal affairs, yet not fretted and worried by them. Anxiety, as you have learned, does not put meal in the barrel nor does it fit us to meet the difficulty. It unfits the mind and wearies the heart, but trust in our heavenly Father quiets the soul. Bring your appointment this day and the matter of your insurance before Him in simple faith, and leave the outcome in His wise and loving hands, for He knows what you have need of before you ask Him.

We also pray for healing for those you love. There is abundant healing power in Jesus Christ, whose very leaves are for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ has virtue in it, and His touch still restores. When He dwells with His people, pardon and healing are found together, for He binds up the broken heart and heals our sicknesses. We ask the Lord to lay His hand upon your son and relieve his stomach distress, to watch over your mother in law and keep her in His care, and to be very near to your friend's son who has passed through emergency surgery. May the great Physician, who took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, grant recovery according to His perfect will and give comfort and strength to each family as they wait upon Him.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, we thank You that we may come boldly to Your throne of grace through Jesus Christ. We ask You to give peace and favor in this appointment today, and to provide for every temporal need regarding this insurance, that Your child may be kept from fear and enabled to trust Your providence. Lay Your healing hand upon this dear son, ease his pain and restore his body. Be gracious to his mother in law and sustain her. We remember also the friend's son who has endured surgery, and we ask You to grant him healing, to guide those who care for him, and to comfort his parents with Your presence. Forgive our sins, heal our infirmities, and make us whole in Christ, for His name's sake. Amen.
