We join together with you in bringing your loved one's need before our Heavenly Father, asking for restored appetite, strength, and health in Jesus' name.
We know how concerning it can be when someone we love is not eating well, and we are reminded that our bodies are wonderfully made by God and that He cares for every physical need. For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. Psalm 139:13. He satisfies the longing soul. He fills the hungry soul with good. Psalm 107:9. We take comfort that He who feeds the birds of the sky also watches over us with tender provision. See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they. Matthew 6:26.
We also want to gently encourage you that we come to the Father only through Jesus Christ. We noticed your request did not mention His name, and we want to share that it is by Him alone we have access to God and salvation. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is through believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and can boldly bring our petitions to God. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Him as Lord and Savior.
We also remember that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit and we are to steward them well. Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God. You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. And we pray as John prayed, Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers. 3 John 1:2.

Father in heaven, we lift up this precious loved one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You know their body, their needs, and the reason their appetite has decreased. We ask You to touch their body, to restore hunger in a healthy way, to strengthen their digestion and nourishment, and to grant wisdom to those caring for them. Bless Yahweh, my soul, and don't forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases. Psalm 103:2-3. We ask that You would heal what needs healing, calm any anxiety or discomfort that takes away desire to eat, and fill them with good things. Guide any doctors or caregivers with wisdom, and help us to trust You while also seeking wise medical counsel where needed. Give peace to this family as they wait on You, and help them to give thanks for Your daily provision. We ask all this in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, our only hope and healer, amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray daily for this need, to give thanks before meals, to offer nourishing food without pressure, and to seek medical advice if the low appetite continues, trusting that God works both through prayer and through wisdom He gives to physicians. Keep casting your cares on Him, for He cares for you.

Your care for your loved one in this matter of appetite is both natural and Christian, for the Lord has made the body as well as the soul, and He cares for both.
It is a great blessing when food and appetite meet together, and we should be thankful when we have both. As it has been well said, some have appetite and no meat, and others have meat but no appetite, and neither is quite satisfied without the happy conjunction of the two. To have food provided and also a desire for it is a mercy from the hand of God, and it is right to ask Him for it.
Physical strength is very desirable, and what a blessing it is to be hale and strong and vigorous. Yet all strength of every sort comes from God, and the glory of our strength lies in Him alone. He is the Author of all being, and He gives strength to every form of existence. When our own strength fails, our strength is to wait upon the Lord, for they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. He gives power to the faint, and to them that have no might He increases strength.
There is also healing in Christ, who is the Tree of Life whose leaves are for the healing of the nations. There is one great Physician who lays His hands upon men and they are restored, and His healing virtue works health and cure in those who trust Him. We are on our way to that place where there shall be no more sickness, but even now He hears the prayers of His people for present mercies.
Let us pray together for your loved one.
O Lord our God, who hast made our bodies and who givest us all things richly to enjoy, we beseech Thee to look in mercy upon this dear one whose appetite has failed. Thou knowest our frame and hast compassion upon our infirmities. Restore, we pray Thee, the desire for needful food, and make food and appetite to meet together for nourishment and strength. Renew strength where it has been spent, and cause health to return as Thou seest best. Help those who care for this loved one to wait upon Thee, and to find their strength in Thee day by day. Grant that whether appetite be given or withheld, the soul may still hunger and thirst after Christ, who alone satisfies, and who is health and strength and life to His people. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, who healed the sick and who still hears prayer. Amen.
