Beloved of All
Good morning, I feel like I made a mistake reaching out to an advocate regarding my leasing apartment situation. The advocate told me to sign a renewal lease so that I could stay in the apartment (even though I am in arrears and have no income). He spoke to the management company on my behalf but failed to mention that I had no income, that's why I didn't sign the new lease. I had previously sent a letter to management (last year) explaining my situation (and that I had made arrangements for partial rent payments through govt assistance) and I'm not sure if this NEW manager is aware of that. I think that it's CRUCIAL to inform the new manager. I'm not sure if that will help my case, but I feel the need to explain my situation at this point without the advocate although I appreciate what they've done. I reached out to the advocate in the first place because I had no other options and wanted to clarify some things. I feel abandoned in this situation and my health is under strain. I don't know what else to do. He also wanted to give expedited referral to a shelter. I think that I'm growing impatient with the Lord's timing (just human nature). I ask Jesus, what is He going to do about this? What should I do about this? I'm frustrated and tired.

Lord Jesus please richly bless, protect and guide them. Please help them in accordance with your perfect will Father. Thank you and praise you. In your holy name I pray. Amen.

We hear your distress and frustration, and we want to come alongside you in prayer and encouragement. This situation is undoubtedly weighing heavily on your heart and health, and we lift it all before the Lord, trusting in His provision and timing.

First, let us affirm that it is never a mistake to seek help when you are in need. Proverbs 15:22 tells us, "Where there is no counsel, plans fail; but in a multitude of counselors they are established." You reached out to an advocate because you were seeking clarity and assistance, and that is commendable. However, it is also wise to be cautious and ensure that all details are communicated accurately, as you have recognized. Honesty and transparency are vital in all dealings, as Ephesians 4:25 instructs, "Therefore, putting away falsehood, speak truth each one with his neighbor, for we are members of one another."

We understand your concern about informing the new manager of your situation. It is important to communicate openly and honestly, as this may provide clarity and potentially open doors for understanding or assistance. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." While it may feel daunting, sharing your situation with the new manager could be a step toward resolution.

Your feelings of impatience with the Lord’s timing are understandable. It is human nature to want immediate answers and relief, but we are called to trust in God’s perfect timing. Psalm 27:14 encourages us, "Wait for Yahweh. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for Yahweh." We know this is easier said than done, especially when you are under strain, but we pray that you would find peace in knowing that God sees your struggles and is working on your behalf.

It is also important to address your question, "What is Jesus going to do about this?" Jesus is our advocate before the Father, as 1 John 2:1 tells us, "My little children, I write these things to you so that you may not sin. If anyone sins, we have a Counselor with the Father, Jesus Christ, the righteous." He is interceding for you even now, and He invites you to cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). We must remember that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to place your trust fully in Him, believing in His sacrifice for your sins and surrendering your life to His lordship.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister who is feeling overwhelmed and abandoned in this situation. Lord, You see the strain on their health and the weight of their circumstances. We ask that You would grant them peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Father, we pray for wisdom and clarity as they navigate this leasing situation. Give them the courage to communicate honestly with the new manager and the strength to trust in Your provision. Lord, we know that You are a God who provides for Your children, and we ask that You would open doors of assistance and relief. Help them to wait on You with patience and to find rest in Your promises. We rebuke any spirit of fear or despair and declare that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Father, we also pray for their health. Strengthen their body, mind, and spirit, and grant them the endurance to persevere through this trial. Remind them of Your faithfulness and love, and help them to lean on You fully. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Advocate. Amen.

In addition to prayer, we encourage you to seek out local resources that may be able to provide assistance with your housing situation. Churches, community organizations, and government programs may have resources or connections that can help. Do not hesitate to reach out to your local church for support and prayer as well. Galatians 6:2 instructs us to "Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ."

Lastly, we want to gently remind you that while the advocate may have suggested an expedited referral to a shelter, this does not mean that it is your only option. Continue to seek the Lord’s guidance and trust that He will lead you to the right solution. Psalm 32:8 says, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go. I will counsel you with my eye on you." Hold fast to this promise and trust that God is directing your steps.

We're here with you, feeling the weight of this situation. It's tough, isn't it? We understand the frustration and the feeling of being stuck. But remember, even in the darkest times, we have a God who sees us and cares deeply about what we're going through.

First things first, let's pray. Lord, we come to you right now, lifting up our ###. We ask for your peace to guard their heart and mind. Give them wisdom as they navigate this situation, courage to communicate honestly, and patience to trust in your timing. We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.

Now, let's talk. We know you've been trying to make things right, and it's easy to feel overwhelmed when it seems like nothing is moving forward. But we want to encourage you, just as the apostle Paul did in Romans 5:3-4, "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." Even in this difficult situation, there's an opportunity for growth and trust in the Lord.

We understand that you're not sure what to do next. It's a tough spot to be in. But let's remember that God is always with us, even in the unknown. He's got a plan, and He's working things out for our good, even when we can't see it.

So, let's keep taking steps forward, one at a time. Maybe that's writing to the new manager, or maybe it's seeking out local resources for assistance. Whatever it is, let's do it with faith, knowing that God is leading the way.

And remember, we're here for you. We're praying for you, and we're ready to listen and support you in any way we can. You're not alone in this. Let's keep trusting in the Lord together.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for trusting us with your heartfelt prayer request. It has been on our hearts to lift you up before the Lord, asking Him to provide clarity, wisdom, and peace in your difficult situation. We’ve been praying specifically that the new manager would receive your explanation with compassion and understanding, and that the Lord would soften their heart toward your circumstances. We’ve also asked God to give you strength as you navigate this season of waiting and uncertainty, and to remind you that He has not abandoned you—even when it feels that way.

We know how heavy this burden must feel, especially when your health is strained and the path forward seems unclear. Please know we are standing with you, asking the Lord to reveal His provision in ways you may not yet see. If He has already moved in your situation—whether through a breakthrough, a moment of peace, or an unexpected open door—we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the answer hasn’t come yet, we encourage you to post this request again so we can continue to intercede on your behalf.

Above all, we pray that you would sense the Lord’s nearness in this trial. May He quiet your heart with His love, guide your steps with His wisdom, and remind you that His timing is perfect, even when it’s hard to understand. Keep seeking Him, dear one—He sees you, He cares, and He is working, even now.

We continue to pray in Jesus’ Name.
