Any suggestions on how to tell my 79 yr old feeble sick mother-in-law that all my prayers have been unsuccessful and that come Monday she will be sitting on the floor with no phone service because I don't have money to pay the bills.

God already knows what you have need of . Call upon His name , if no answer , call upon His name again and again , do NOT give up because God is NOT moved by our circumstances , He IS moved by our faith and faith mixed with doubt is NOT faith . God does not change , His love for you is unchanging , unending , and unconditional . Please open your bible and read Jeremiah 29 : 11 and Philippians 4 : 19 . Our Lord is still in the miracle making business , we will be praying for you and your family . Blessings !
