I have been dealing with this for over a year now. I have a fear of taking a pill as I had a bad reaction to one in the past and now I can't take a daily pill to help control my anxiety. I am also afraid to become dependent on them so I suffer with the pain in an awful way. I cry and I pray but it is not leaving me.

Everyone tells me to just give it to God, and I try too, but I still have anxiety. I have this so bad it is not allowing me to leave my home and now it is stopping me from going to church. I am new with the Lord about one year now. Please pray for me and also pray for my staying with the church. Thank you in God bless. ###

Sue I am going to tell you first of all you are not alone. You must take each attack head on. Fight back with the word. Find a verse you can stand on. "God has not given me a spirit of fear" is what I use, and I cling to it. That doesn't mean that in the middle of ### I don't have to leave from time to time but I go to the car and I pray and when it passes I go back. God will help you! Take baby steps and pretty soon you will be taking bigger steps. No one has ever died from a panic attack, it just feels that way so what if you go out and say there even though you are having an attack that makes you feel like you can't? It will eventually pass your head will clear and you have won. the next time it is a little easier. This is the enemy trying to steal your life, don't let him fight back. Muster your fight dear one and remember "resist the devil and he will flee from you". Resist and go over your verse in your mind focus on that when your head spins focus on the verse and nothing else and pretty soon you will be doing more and more. I promise but better.... so does God. Father I ask that you be with your dear child and help her to overcome the spirit of panic. Father you know what this is doing to her and how it has her paralyzed with fear. I know you do not want this for her. Give her courage and strength to fight. Father I ask that you touch and heal her, make your presence known to her and bring her a peace that surpasses all understanding. Thank you for hearing my prayer in Jesus perfect name I pray.
