Beloved of All
Pray that my anxiety will go away and that I will be confident. Also pray that I will do well at all my tasks at work. Pray for a comfortable working environment with great respect for one another. I am overwhelmed so please pray for my peace of mind Amen.

We join with you in bringing this anxiety and overwhelm before the Lord together in Jesus' name, asking for His peace and strength to fill your heart and your workplace.

We hear how heavy this feels and how much you desire confidence and peace of mind as you face all your tasks at work. The Word tells us that anxiety is not something we have to carry alone. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. He sees you in this overwhelmed place and He cares deeply for you.

We also want to encourage you about confidence. True confidence does not come from ourselves or from having everything perfectly under control, but from knowing who we are in Christ and that God is with us. 2 Timothy 1:7 says For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. And Isaiah 41:10 says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. When we lean on Him, He steady our hearts and equips us for what He has given us to do.

For your work, we pray that God will give you focus, wisdom and diligence, and that He will make your labor fruitful. Proverbs 16:3 says Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed. And Colossians 3:23 says Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. We also join you in praying for a comfortable working environment where there is great respect for one another, for this honors God when we bear with one another in love and treat each other as made in His image. We pray that your workplace would be marked by kindness, patience and mutual honor.

We noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why His name is so essential. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. We come to God not on our own merit but through faith in Jesus Christ who died for our sins and rose again, and when we put our trust in Him we can come boldly to the throne of grace to find help in our time of need.

So we pray together now.

Father, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus. We ask that You would lift this anxiety and replace it with Your perfect peace. Calm the racing thoughts and the overwhelmed heart, and guard this heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Father, fill this dear one with confidence not in self but in You, knowing that You are with them, that You strengthen and uphold them, and that You have given a spirit of power and love and self-control. Give wisdom and clarity for every task at work, help all that is done to be done heartily as unto You, and let there be fruit and excellence for Your glory. We pray for that workplace, Lord, that You would make it a place of respect, kindness and peace, where each person honors one another and where Your peace reigns. We speak Your promise over this dear one that John 14:27 gives, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you. Let that peace guard and settle this heart today. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our hope and our peace. Amen.

We encourage you to keep casting your cares on Him moment by moment in prayer, even with simple short prayers through the workday, and to commit each task to the Lord as you begin it. He is faithful to give you peace of mind and to walk with you through every responsibility.

Thank you for letting us pray with you about this. Feeling overwhelmed at work while carrying anxiety is heavy, and we hear how much you want peace of mind, confidence for your tasks, and a workplace where people treat each other with respect.

It makes sense that when everything feels urgent at once, confidence gets shaky. One thing that often helps is narrowing the focus just a little. We encourage you to pick the one or two most pressing tasks for today and give your attention there, and if you can, let a trusted supervisor or coworker know you are feeling stretched so they can understand what support or clarity might help. A respectful environment grows in small moments, and your desire for it is a good one.

We are praying for you to have steadier peace as you work, and if anxiety has been frequent, intense, or affecting sleep or health, please consider reaching out to a pastor, counselor, or your doctor alongside prayer, so you have personal support.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift them to You. You see the pressure at work and the anxious thoughts that feel overwhelming. Grant calm and clarity of mind, confidence to do each task well, and a workplace marked by kindness and mutual respect. Give rest tonight and strength for tomorrow, and guide each step. Amen.

Your request for peace in the midst of anxiety and overwhelming duties has been heard, and we join you in bringing it before the throne of grace.

The Scripture says, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This is that peace, peace which the prophet speaks of, not a mere quietness of circumstance but a keeping of the heart and mind by God Himself. As one has sung, The blood of Jesus whispers peace within. That whisper is not the peace of this world, which is but an outward calm and easily broken, but the peace of God which passes all understanding, which guards the heart and mind through Christ Jesus.

We pray that the Lord, who is the God of peace and the Lord of Peace Himself, would give you peace always and by all means. He is the God who justifies through the blood of the everlasting covenant and thereby implants peace in the soul. He brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that Prince of Peace, and He alone can speak peace to the troubled conscience and the anxious mind. May He stay your mind upon Christ, for there is always the same reason for peace in Him who never changes.

We ask the Lord to lift from you the spirit of anxiety and doubtful mind, and to give you instead a holy confidence, not in your own strength, but in Him whose will is rest. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest, even when thronging duties press upon you. May He grant you calmness and clearness in all your tasks at work, that you may do them with diligence and faithfulness as unto Him, and know His help in each duty.

We pray also for your place of labor, that the Lord would make it a place of quietness and mutual respect, where each bears with the other and where peace is preserved and perfected among you. And for your own heart, being overwhelmed, we pray that Christ would leave His legacy with you, My peace I give unto you, not as the world gives. May that divine peace bring with it joy and settled rest to your understanding and conscience, keeping you from fear and making you steadfast in trust.

O Lord our God, look upon this Your servant who feels pressed and overwhelmed. Keep this mind stayed upon You. Let the blood of Jesus speak peace within, and let the peace of God keep heart and mind. Grant confidence rooted in Christ, skill and grace for every task, and a working environment marked by kindness and respect. Restore and preserve peace, and perfect it in Your own time, for Jesus sake. Amen.
