Beloved of All
Pray that my anxiety will go away and that I will be confident. Also pray that I will do well at all my tasks at work. Pray for a comfortable working environment with great respect for one another. I am overwhelmed so please pray for my peace of mind Amen.

We hear the heaviness in your heart as you share that you are overwhelmed with anxiety and longing for confidence and peace of mind, and we join with you in bringing this before our Heavenly Father together.

The Word reminds us that we are not meant to carry this burden alone. In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7 We are also told to cast all our worries on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7 Your desire for confidence is good, and we want to encourage you that true confidence does not come from within ourselves but from knowing who we are in Christ and that He is with us. Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10

We also lift up your work to the Lord. We pray that you will do well at all your tasks, not merely for the approval of others but as service to Him, for whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. Colossians 3:23 When we commit our works to Yahweh, our plans shall be established. Proverbs 16:3 We pray for that comfortable working environment you long for, one marked by mutual respect and kindness, and we encourage you to also be a vessel of that respect and grace to others, even as you pray for it. Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you, not as the world gives, give I to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful. John 14:27

We noticed your prayer did not mention the name of Jesus, and we gently want to share why this is so important to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6 There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12 We come to God not by our own goodness but by believing in Jesus Christ, that He died for our sins and rose again, and by confessing Him as Lord. If you have not yet placed your trust in Him, we encourage you to do so today, for everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

We now pray together for you.

Father, we lift up this dear one to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You see the anxiety and the feeling of being overwhelmed, and we ask You to replace that anxiety with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding. Calm the restless thoughts and grant a quiet and steady peace of mind. Fill this heart with confidence that comes from Your Spirit, not from self, and remind this one that You are near, that You strengthen and uphold. Lord, we commit all the tasks at work into Your hands. Give wisdom, focus, and diligence to do each task well and for Your glory. Provide favor and help to complete what needs to be done without being crushed by the weight of it. We ask for a working environment that is comfortable and filled with great respect for one another, where kindness and honor abound, and help this one to be a light of that respect as well. Let Your peace rule in that workplace. Draw this dear one closer to Jesus, and let every need be met according to Your will. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We hear how heavy things feel right now, wanting the anxiety to lift, to feel more confident, and to do well at work in a place that feels respectful and calm. Being overwhelmed day after day wears on both mind and body, and it makes sense you are asking for peace.

Thank you for letting us pray with you about this. We are asking God for steadiness for you, for clarity as you move through each task, and for a healthier atmosphere where you work. When the list feels endless, it can help to pause and choose just one next step to focus on, and to notice when you need a brief break, some rest, or a conversation with someone you trust about what is most pressing. You do not have to carry all of this alone, and if the sense of being overwhelmed continues or feels hard to manage, we gently encourage talking with a pastor, counselor, or your doctor alongside prayer for extra support.

Father, we bring our friend before You in Jesus' name. You know the weight of these days and the desire to work well and live with peace. Give calm in place of racing thoughts, confidence rooted in Your care, and grace for each task today. Provide respectful relationships at work and wisdom for each decision. Keep our friend close to You and lead with Your gentle peace. Amen.

Your cry concerning anxiety and being overwhelmed has been heard and we have carried it to the throne of grace on your behalf. The Lord knows how thronging duties can press upon the spirit and how the mind can be tossed, and He invites you to find rest not in circumstances but in Himself.

The promise of Scripture is, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You" Isaiah 26:3. This is that peace which the hymn describes, "The blood of Jesus whispers peace within." It is a present possession and may be enjoyed in the ordinary circumstances of life, even when duties throng and the heart feels pressed. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest.

We have prayed that the God of peace Himself would give you peace always and that the peace of God which passes all understanding would keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Such peace is not the false peace which leaves the soul unawakened, but the true peace born of the Spirit through faith in the great substitutionary sacrifice of Christ, by which we are justified and reconciled to God. When faith is unfeignedly fixed there, the soul stands accepted in Christ and finds quiet rest of understanding and conscience.

Our Savior also says, "Neither be you of a doubtful mind" Luke 12:29. Anxiety would keep the mind irresolute and doubtful, but the Lord would have you keep your heart with all diligence and stay your mind upon Him. Submit yourselves therefore to God, trust His providential arrangements, and cast your cares upon Him who cares for you. Confidence before Him does not grow from self reliance, but from an assured conviction that we are safe in Christ, and that conviction bathes the soul in seas of heavenly peace.

We have prayed for you in this way, that the Lord would calm your anxious thoughts and grant you a settled mind stayed on Christ, that He would give you confidence rooted in His strength and not your own, that He would help you in all your tasks at work with diligence and clarity, and that He would grant you a comfortable working environment marked by mutual respect and kindness. May the Lord of Peace Himself give you peace in your labor and make your daily duties a place where you prove His sustaining grace.

O Lord God of peace, who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus through the blood of the everlasting covenant, look upon this weary one. Speak peace by the blood of Jesus within, keep the mind stayed upon Yourself, and let perfect peace reign where anxiety has pressed. Grant confidence through trust in Christ, steadiness for every task appointed, and a workplace kept in peace and respect. Preserve heart and mind unto the day of Christ, and make this soul to know that to do Your will is rest. In the name of Jesus our Prince of Peace we ask it, Amen.
