We hear your heart and we join with you in bringing this anxiety before the Lord together, asking Him to lift this heavy burden from you as you begin this new job He has given you. We understand how real and physical anxiety can be, even causing nausea and distress, and we know our Father cares deeply about every part of what you are feeling.

The scripture reminds us to bring everything to Him. Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And 1 Peter 5:7 tells us to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. We are encouraged that God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control as it says in 2 Timothy 1:7, and Jesus Himself promises in John 14:27 Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful. He also says in Isaiah 41:10 Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.

We also rejoice that you desire to fulfill this job with honesty, and that honors God greatly. Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men as Colossians 3:23 teaches. When we work as unto the Lord, He gives us strength and purpose, and we can trust Him to equip us for what He has called us to do. We pray He replaces your anxiety with genuine peace, excitement, and joy for this new season.

We noticed your request speaks of the Lord, but does not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to gently share why that matters so much to us. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 reminds us There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. So we come to God boldly not on our own merit, but through faith in Jesus Christ who died for our sins and rose again, and we encourage you to place your full trust in Him if you have not already, calling upon His name.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our dear one to You. Lord, You see the anxiety that weighs so heavily, the restlessness and the physical sickness it brings. We ask in Jesus name that You remove this anxiety and calm the body and mind. Touch any nausea and prevent vomiting, and grant complete peace that surpasses all understanding to guard the heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus. Fill this new beginning with Your joy and holy excitement, and let Your perfect love cast out all fear. Give strength to fulfill every duty with honesty and integrity as unto You, and let this job be a testimony of Your faithfulness and provision. We pray that every day You would be near, strengthening, helping, and upholding with Your righteous right hand. Draw this dear one closer to Jesus, reminding them that they can cast every care on You because You care so deeply for them. We have been holding you in our thoughts as you step into this new job. Wanting to do honest, faithful work and at the same time feeling that knot of anxiety and nausea is so hard, and it makes sense you would long for peace and even joy in these first days.

We admire that your first concern is honesty in the work God has given you. That desire is a steady anchor when nerves are loud. Starting something new often brings a lot of unknowns, and our bodies can react strongly while we are adjusting. If the nausea or vomiting continues or feels overwhelming, we encourage you to reach out to your doctor or clinic for support as you keep praying for relief.

One small step that has helped others in a new role is to give the first week a clear, simple structure. You might write down two or three questions to ask early, note the main tasks for each day, and plan a calm evening routine that protects sleep. It can also help to notice things like caffeine and late nights that tend to make anxiety feel bigger, and to stay connected with one trusted person who can listen as you process the day.

Father, we bring our friend to You in Jesus name. You see the desire to work faithfully and the anxiety that makes the body feel sick. Please grant steadiness, clear thinking, and moments of genuine peace and even excitement as this job begins. Guide the hands and heart for honest work and provide wisdom and help for each day. Amen.

Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your honest and humble request has been heard and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who hears the cries of His people.

We pray that the God of all peace will keep you in perfect peace as your mind is stayed upon Him, because you trust in Him. As it is written, You will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You. This is not a peace far off, but a present possession to be enjoyed even when thronging duties press upon you, for to do the will of Jesus, this is rest. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and that peace can gleam with heavenly light even in the midnight of care and anxiety.

We have asked the Lord to lift this burden of anxiety from you, for we know that the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. You cannot alter your case with all your worrying, but you can cast your burden upon the Lord who sustains His people. We pray that He will turn your anxiety into a childlike confidence in Him, that He will steady your heart and quiet your thoughts as you begin this new job which He has given you.

We pray that He will grant you not only peace, but excitement and joy in your labor, that you may fulfill the work set before you with honesty and faithfulness as unto the Lord. May He give you a clear mind, a steady hand, and an upright heart, that in all things you may act with integrity and truth, for His glory.

We also bring before the Lord your body, and ask that He will mercifully relieve you of the nausea and distress that anxiety has brought upon you. May He calm your frame as He calms your spirit, and give you health and strength for each day's duties. When cares multiply, may you take each new burden to the Lord, for He has promised to bless His people with peace, a peace from lips that cannot lie, through the blood which has made full atonement.

May the Lord renew your peace day by day, keep you close to Christ, and let you prove that His grace is sufficient for every duty and every trial. We leave you in the keeping of Jesus, who has vanquished all fear and who calls His own to rest in Him until earthly struggles cease and He brings us to Heaven's perfect peace.

We will continue to pray for you, that joy and peace may abound and that your service may be faithful and fruitful before Him.
