We hear your heart and we join with you in bringing this burden before the Lord, for He cares deeply when we feel overwhelmed and anxious. We know what it is to feel the weight of many tasks and to long for peace of mind and a respectful, comfortable place to work, and we want you to know God sees you in this place.
The Bible tells us not to carry anxiety alone but to bring it to Him. Philippians 4:6-7 says, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Also 1 Peter 5:7 reminds us to cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control as we read in 2 Timothy 1:7, and He promises in Isaiah 41:10, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. True confidence does not come from ourselves but from knowing Christ is with us and strengthens us, for Philippians 4:13 says I can do all things through Christ, who strengthens me.
For your work, we pray that God will give you clarity, diligence, and grace to do well in every task, remembering Colossians 3:23, Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men. We also pray for that environment you desire, one marked by mutual respect and kindness, for where Christ's love is present there is peace. John 14:27 records Jesus saying, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful.

Your cry concerning anxiety and being overwhelmed has been heard and we have carried it to the throne of grace on your behalf.
The Lord knows how thronging duties press upon the spirit and how the mind when it looks within or around soon loses its rest. The Scripture gives a sure word for such a season, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This perfect peace, peace upon peace, is not the peace of a hardened or careless heart which feels no anxiety because it feels nothing at all, but it is the peace of God which passes all understanding, which shall keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. It is the legacy which our Lord Himself has left, My peace I give unto you, not as the world gives, give I unto you.
We have prayed that the Lord of Peace Himself would give you peace always and by all means, and that He would quiet your doubtful and anxious thoughts. Our Saviour said, Neither be you of a doubtful mind, and He would have His people find a sweet repose under the shadow of His wings. Confidence before God and before the duties of your calling does not come from trusting in your own strength, but from seeing that your soul is right in the sight of God through the blood of Jesus which whispers peace within, and from knowing that you are kept by Him who neither slumbers nor changes.
We have prayed also for your daily work. May the Lord grant you steadiness of mind and hand in every task, that you may do all as unto Him and find that to do the will of Jesus is rest. Your request for prayer in the midst of anxiety and being overwhelmed at work has been heard, and we have brought it before the Lord with care.
Anxiety is a heavy burden, and Scripture shows us how it can choke the heart like thorns choking the word, and like a great billow swelling to overwhelm a small boat. When the mind is crowded with many cares, it is hard to find rest. True confidence does not come from having everything in order or from gathering many things together, but from virtue and the fear of God, and from holding fast our hope in Christ firm to the end. A clear conscience before God and faithfulness in the good He has given us to do brings a quiet strength that circumstances alone cannot give.
Christ Himself knows how to calm a heart disturbed with shame and anxiety and to give boldness. As He gently questioned those who followed Him so that they might draw near with confidence, so He now invites you to draw near to Him and to make your needs known. The peace He gives is not as the world gives. It surpasses all understanding and guards the heart and mind in Christ Jesus, so that you will not be overwhelmed by trial or carried about by distress. That peace comes with faith and love, and it gives a cheerful confidence in the good things to come from His hand.
We are praying for you, that God who has delivered you in Christ will Himself guard you and keep you firm in His faith.
