I would really appreciate your prayers at this time. I have been feeling really anxious. I have been referred for cognitive behaviour therapy and hope that my appointment with a therapist comes through soon. In Jesus name.

We join with you in prayer at this time and we thank you for sharing your burden with us and for coming in Jesus' name, for it is through Him we have access to the Father and find grace and peace.

We understand how heavy and exhausting anxiety can feel, and we want you to know that God sees you in this struggle and He cares deeply for you. It is a wise and good step that you have sought help and been referred for therapy, and we pray that the Lord will open the door for that appointment to come through quickly and that He will guide the therapist to be a source of help and clarity.

Scripture speaks directly to the anxious heart. We are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. And again in 1 Peter 5:7 we are called to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. The Lord does not want you to carry this burden alone.

We also cling to the promise in Isaiah 41:10, Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. And Jesus Himself says in John 14:27, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don’t let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful. For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control as we read in 2 Timothy 1:7.

We encourage you while you wait for your therapy appointment to continue to bring every anxious thought to the Lord in prayer throughout the day, to rest in His Word, and to lean on the fellowship of other believers. Cognitive behaviour therapy can be a helpful tool, and we pray God uses it alongside prayer, Scripture, rest, and godly counsel to bring healing and renewed thought patterns. Be gentle with yourself, keep a simple rhythm of prayer and time in the Word, and share honestly with trusted Christian friends or pastors who can support you.

We pray together for you now.

Father in heaven, we lift up our dear one to You who is feeling anxious and weary. We thank You that You are near to the brokenhearted and that You invite us to cast all our cares on You. We ask in Jesus' name that You would pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding upon this heart and mind and guard them in Christ Jesus. Calm the racing thoughts, quiet the fears, and remind our friend moment by moment that You are with them, that You will strengthen and uphold them with Your righteous right hand. We ask that You would hasten the appointment with the therapist and give wisdom and compassion to those who will provide care. Lead them to helpful treatment and use it for good. Help our friend to grow in trusting You more each day, to experience Your power, love and self-control, and to know deeply that they are loved and held by You. Restore rest, hope and joy, and let Your presence be their comfort through this season. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We will continue to keep you in prayer and we trust the Lord will walk with you step by step toward His peace. Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you as Psalm 55:22 promises, and He will not let you be moved.

We're really grateful you shared this with us. Living with anxiety day after day is exhausting, and waiting for an appointment to come through can make it feel even heavier. Thank you for letting us pray with you in this in-between time.

It's a good and wise step that you've been referred for cognitive behaviour therapy, and we understand how hard the wait can feel when you want support soon. While you wait, it can help to stay in touch with the service that referred you if you haven't heard back when expected, and to let your regular doctor know how you're doing so they can support you alongside prayer.

You don't have to carry this alone. If you have a trusted pastor, friend or family member, consider letting one person know you're in this waiting season so they can check in with you.

We are praying for you now.

Father, we bring our friend to you and ask for your peace and presence in the anxious moments. Give wisdom to the clinicians involved, bring the appointment in your timing, and give daily strength and rest while waiting. Help them know they are seen and cared for by you. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your request has been brought before the Lord and we join you in prayer at this time of anxiety.

The word of God gives a precious promise for such a season, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This is peace, perfect peace, even in this dark world of care. As we have often said, the blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and that peace is a present possession which may be enjoyed even with sorrows surging round and with thronging duties pressing. It is not a mere lull of thought or a blindness to danger, but a deep peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, which then becomes peace in the conscience, kept by Him who cannot lie and through the blood which has made a full atonement.

You do well to tell the Lord plainly of this anxiety which unfits the mind to meet its difficulties. Our Saviour would not have His people live in worry and fretfulness and distress of mind. He calls us to a mind stayed upon Himself, to trust Him wholly. Only trust Him, only trust Him, only trust Him now. When a soul trusts the Saviour before it feels joy and peace, it finds that joy and peace follow upon believing. Trust Him as you sink and you shall swim. Trust Him as you feel yourself troubled and you shall live in His keeping.

We are glad you have sought help and have been referred for counsel. It is no failure of faith to use prudent means, for we are to act with prudence and uprightness while we rely simply and entirely upon Him. As one would go to a physician for the body, so we may rightly use helps for the mind, yet looking above all to the Great Physician of souls. While you wait for your appointment to come through, remember that waiting upon the Lord is itself blessed. Waiting upon God makes the soul grow calm and breeds peace within, and He can keep you in the shadow of His wings until these calamities pass. Continue in prayer with importunity, for the blessing is worth waiting for, and He will not fail those who wait upon Him.

We pray for you, that the Lord, the God of all peace, would keep your heart and mind through Jesus Christ, that He would stay your mind upon Himself, quiet your fears, and give you perfect peace in trusting Him. May He give wisdom to those who shall counsel you, and in His own time and way grant you relief and renewed strength to do His will and to rest in His love. May He bless you with that peace which is His own gift, unruffled and profound, and keep you safe in Jesus keeping day by day.

We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and our peace, Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Thank you for sharing so honestly about what you are carrying right now. We have received your request and we are praying for you.

Anxiety can feel overwhelming and isolating, and it is good that you have reached out both for prayer and for practical help. God sees you in this struggle and cares deeply for you. Scripture reminds us to cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us, and that when we bring our requests to God, His peace which passes all understanding can guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

We are praying that the Lord will grant you His peace and comfort in the days ahead, that He will calm your heart and strengthen you, and that He will guide you as you wait for your therapy appointment. We pray that the appointment will come through soon and that the cognitive behaviour therapy will be a helpful tool for you, alongside the hope and steadiness found in Christ.

We also pray that you will know you are not alone, that God is near to you, and that He will surround you with supportive people and wise counsel. If anxious thoughts press in, we encourage you to keep bringing them to the Lord in prayer, to rest in His Word, and to stay connected with trusted Christians who can walk with you.

Father, we lift up this dear one to You in Jesus name. You know the anxiety and the heaviness felt right now. We ask for Your peace to fill their heart and mind, for Your presence to be very near, and for Your strength for each day. Guide the process for therapy and provide the right help at the right time. Draw them closer to Jesus and remind them of Your unfailing love and care. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

Please keep letting us know how you are doing so we can continue to pray for you.

I have been praying for you since reading your request and I thank you for sharing so honestly about the anxiety you are carrying. It is a heavy burden to live with a troubled mind and heart, and it is good that you have reached out for prayer and for help while you wait for your therapy appointment to come through. I am asking the Lord to provide that appointment in His timing and to sustain you with His presence in the waiting.

Scripture speaks of a perfect peace that God keeps over the one whose mind is stayed on Him, because that person is trusting in Him. That is the promise in Isaiah, and Jesus echoes it when He tells His disciples that He leaves His own peace with them, a peace not like the world gives. The world offers calm only when circumstances are calm, but the peace Christ gives can remain even when circumstances are still difficult and unsettled.

In order to know that peace in your daily experience, it helps to remember there are two aspects to peace. First there is peace with God, which only comes through the blood of Jesus Christ shed for us. When we put our faith in Him we are no longer at war with God or running from Him, we belong to Him and that brings a deep settled rest. Then there is the peace of God, which guards and keeps our hearts and minds through Christ. You can have peace with God and still need to learn to walk in the peace of God day by day, and that peace grows as your mind is turned toward Him and stayed on Him in trust.

That is why the apostles always put grace before peace when they greet believers. You cannot experience the peace of God until you have received and understood the grace of God toward you in Christ. When you remember how gracious He has been to forgive and to keep you, peace begins to follow.

The Bible also gives a very practical direction for anxious thoughts. It says do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Worry does not solve the problem and it has no real value. In fact worry and faith cannot occupy the same space. Jesus pointed to the lilies of the field and to the birds to remind us that our Father cares for what He has made, and how much more He cares for you. Most worry is about tomorrow, about what might happen next week or how a future need will be met, yet the Lord invites us to bring today to Him and to trust Him for tomorrow. Rather than carrying the worry, we are to pray about the very thing that worries us, committing it to the Lord with thanksgiving, and the result He promises is that His peace which passes all understanding will keep your heart and mind.

Waiting can itself be a source of anxiety, and I know you are waiting for help to come. Scripture often encourages us to wait patiently on the Lord, confident that He is at work even when we cannot see it. He has ordained peace for His people and He delights to give it. While you wait for that appointment, keep bringing your requests to Him plainly and honestly, keep your mind stayed on Him through His Word and through prayer, and ask Him to direct your heart into His love.

I am praying for you now that the Lord of peace Himself will give you peace at all times and in every way, that He will keep your mind steady as you trust Him, and that you will experience His guard over your heart and thoughts through Christ Jesus. May He lift the weight of anxiety, remind you of His grace anew each day, and provide the support you need. In Jesus name, amen.

I would really appreciate your prayers. My last appointment with my psychiatrist was cancelled. I am also on a waiting list for a care coordinator. Also I am on a waiting list for cognitive behaviour therapy. I would like appointments for each of these requests to come through swiftly.

I have been referred for cognitive behaviour therapy by my psychiatrist. I don't think that they have Christian counsellors where I'll be going to for my therapy. Am I still OK to go forward for this as I really need it for my anxieties.
