Beloved of All
Pray that my anxiety will go away and that I will be confident. Also pray that I will do well at all my tasks at work. Pray for a comfortable working environment with great respect for one another. I am overwhelmed so please pray for my peace of mind Amen.

We hear your cry for peace and confidence, and we stand with you in lifting these burdens before the throne of grace. Anxiety is a heavy weight, but we know that our Lord does not intend for you to carry it alone. The Scriptures tell us, "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). This is not just a suggestion, it is an invitation from the One who holds all things together. He sees your struggles, your sleepless nights, and the way your heart races when the weight of responsibility feels too heavy. But He also sees the strength He has placed within you, even when you cannot see it yourself.

We rebuke the spirit of fear that seeks to paralyze you, for "God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control" (2 Timothy 1:7). Fear does not come from the Lord, and we command it to flee in the mighty name of Jesus. You are not meant to live in bondage to worry, but in the freedom that comes from trusting in Him. When the tasks at work feel overwhelming, remember that "the Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped" (Psalm 28:7). He will equip you for every responsibility He has placed before you.

We also pray for your workplace, that it would be a place of mutual respect, kindness, and encouragement. The Bible instructs us, "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you" (Ephesians 4:31-32). May your colleagues reflect these qualities, and may you be a light in that environment, showing Christ’s love through your actions and words.

Lord Jesus, we come before You now on behalf of our brother/sister who is struggling with anxiety and feeling overwhelmed. We ask that You would calm their heart and mind, replacing fear with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen them in their work, giving them clarity, wisdom, and the ability to accomplish all that You have set before them. Surround them with coworkers who respect and uplift one another, creating an atmosphere of harmony and productivity. Remind them daily of Your presence, for You have promised, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). Help them to cast every care upon You, knowing that You are faithful to sustain them. Fill them with confidence, not in their own abilities, but in Your power working through them. May they walk in the assurance that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus, the name above every name, the One who has conquered fear and death. Amen.

You are not alone in this battle. The Lord is with you, and so are we. Take one step at a time, leaning on Him for strength. When the anxiety rises, pause and speak His promises aloud. You are deeply loved, and your worth is not defined by your productivity or the opinions of others, but by the fact that Christ died for you. Rest in that truth today.

We hear how heavy this feels, the anxiety, the pressure at work, and the deep longing for things to just settle down. It's exhausting to carry that weight, and we're sitting with you in it right now.

One thing we've seen is that anxiety often isn't a switch we flip off. It's more like a whole-body signal that too much has piled up: the demands, the fear of falling short, the ache for a workplace where you're actually respected. That doesn't mean you're weak or doing faith wrong. It means you're human, and you're overloaded. Sometimes the most courageous step is to pause, right where you are, and say, “I need help carrying this.” That might mean asking a trusted friend for prayer, talking to a pastor or a counselor who can walk with you, or even seeing your doctor if the physical toll feels unmanageable. You don't have to tough it out alone.

We're also mindful of your desire for a respectful work environment. While you can't control how others treat you, you can set the tone by offering the respect you long for, a calm word, a quick affirmation, patience in a tense moment. Small seeds of peace rarely fix the whole garden overnight, but they sometimes shift the air in a room. And they keep your own heart from hardening.

Jesus, we come with this one who feels swamped. Calm the racing thoughts, and let the peace that only You can give settle deep. Give focus for each task today, and the quiet confidence that comes from knowing You're with us, not from perfect performance. Shape that workplace into a place where people truly see and honor one another. Surround this dear one with practical support and gentle reminders that they are not alone. In Your name, amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry rises to the very throne of the God of peace, and He will not be deaf to the sighing of His child. What is it you ask? That anxiety would flee, confidence would take its place, and that a quiet mind would govern your daily tasks. This is the very peace of which the Scriptures speak when they declare, “You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You: because he trusts in You.” Peace, yes, peace, peace! Not a shallow calm that depends on a gentle workplace or a task well done, but a deep, still river flowing from the heart of the covenant, whispering, “The blood of Jesus whispers peace within.” The Lord of Peace Himself give you this peace, not as the world gives, but as He alone can bestow, through the abiding presence of the Spirit.

Yet ponder this: a lack of submission is ever the root of our disquiet. You are overwhelmed, you say, but are you submitting yourself to God in the very teeth of these thronging duties? When the heart submits perfectly, the work of grace is complete. To do the will of Jesus, this is rest. Let not your mind be ruled by a craving for comfortable circumstances or the respect of men, for that is to seek a false peace, a thin crust of ice that cracks under a feather’s weight. The peace of the devil is a painted serpent; it stupefies where it does not save. Flee from it! Lay hold instead upon that peace which surpasses all understanding, the jewel that glitters brightest in the dark mine of trial, the calm that can sing in a dungeon and sleep in a storm because it rests upon the finished work of Christ and the unchanging promise of the Father.

That confidence for which you long is not the fruit of your own scheming or strength. You will never find it by merely willing anxiety away, any more than a waterman steadies his boat by staring at the billows. No, confidence comes by giving the Word of God its proper place within you, not a dusty corner, but the throne of your very being, ruling every thought and affection. Recline your whole weight upon the infallible promise. “In the shadow of Your wings will I make my refuge,” even when the brightness of His face seems hidden. The Spirit must work this in you, for it is not of man or by man, but the work of God and of God alone. Cry to Him, then, not merely for the removal of the trial, but for such an inward transformation that your peace shall flow like a river, untouched by the world’s frown or smile. He hears prayer. He shall comfort Zion, and He will comfort you. Amen.

You ask for peace of mind and relief from anxiety, but consider what kind of peace you seek. There is an external peace, which is often mischievous and unprofitable, and is no advantage to those who possess it. But the peace which is towards God, and love with faith, this renders you stronger. If there be peace, there will also be love; if love, there will be peace also. And without faith, love amounts to nothing; or rather love could not exist at all without it.

The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. He who dwells in men’s hearts and enters into their thoughts knows well the secret motions of your mind. You feel overwhelmed because you look to outward circumstances, tasks, working environment, the respect of others, and place confidence in these as though they were firm ground. But He does not entrust peace to such temporary things. To be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. This spiritual mind brings blessings both in the present life and in that which is to come.

You ask for a comfortable working environment with great respect for one another. Yet what impairs this bond? Love of money, passion for power, for glory, and the like, these loosen and sever men asunder. Nothing is so opposed to love as sin. Even among the wicked it is impossible to find true peace where virtue is not already put in practice. But if you have joy of conscience and become complete, nothing is wanting unto your cheerfulness and comfort. For nothing doth so produce comfort as a pure conscience, yea, though innumerable trials surround.

Be of the same mind, live in peace. For it is possible to be of one mind in doctrine and yet be at variance in dealings with one another. But both are required. And if you do these things, the God of love and peace shall be with you. For He is the God of love and of peace, and in these things He delighteth, He rejoiceth. Hence shall peace be yours from His love; hence shall every evil be removed.

Do not look for confidence in the absence of trouble, but in the presence of God. He who is conscious to himself of no evil, and who has been fruitful in good, rejoices even here. The wicked man lives in perpetual fear, pale, trembling, and full of anxiety. Is this to be called life? No, rather a horrid death. But to be spiritually minded is life and peace. Seek first that peace which is towards God, and love with faith, and the God of love and peace shall be with you.
