Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. The thorns of anxiety and the cares of this life choke the word within you, and when luxury joins with anxiety, the billow swells high. But Christ lifts up your soul and gives you great cause for confidence, for He has entrusted you with His work and gives you authority from Himself. Peace and love with faith He invokes upon you; for if peace be present, love will follow, and without faith neither amounts to anything. The peace of Christ surpasses all understanding, and He who has delivered you beyond all thought will guard you and secure you. Do not think that a comfortable environment or outward success bring confidence; it is virtue and the fear of God alone that give true assurance. For the one who gathers possessions lives in perpetual fear and anxiety, but the one who is content with God fears nothing and has need of no one. May that surpassing peace keep your heart and mind in Christ Jesus, that you may do well in your tasks and find respect among your fellows. And if you keep your mouth and heart fixed on Him, you shall one day with great confidence say to every turmoil, “Peace, be still,” and set your foot within the kingdom.

The deepest peace begins not with a change in your circumstances, but with a surrender in your heart. You mentioned being overwhelmed, and I understand that weight entirely. The frantic thoughts, the replaying of conversations, the dread of what might go wrong at work, these are the evidence of a mind occupied by the things of this world. But there is another way for you to live right now.

The peace you long for is not simply the absence of anxiety; it is the presence of a Person. We can have peace with God through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, which settles our eternal destiny. Yet many who have that peace still live in daily turmoil because they have not yet learned to experience the peace of God. That peace comes when you choose to take the very tasks and relationships that are crushing you and place them fully into His hands. It is the act of casting that burden onto Him, like David did when he was terrified and wanted to flee. He poured out his fear, and then his prayer turned a corner. He began to declare his confidence in God, trusting that the Lord was his helper.

Your request to do well at your tasks and for a comfortable, respectful environment is a good one. But the confidence you seek will not be found by staring at the workload or analyzing the behavior of your colleagues. A mind fixed on the flesh, on the uncertainties and potential failures of the workday, will always lead to a kind of inner death and restlessness. You must look away from the trial and turn your mind steadfastly toward the Spirit. Fix your thoughts on Him. As you do, a strange and glorious exchange happens: the mind of the Spirit becomes your experience, and that is life and peace. You will find that as you keep your inner gaze upon Christ, you can walk into your workplace with a steady calm, knowing that He is the potter and you are the clay, and whatever He shapes is best for you.

So, do not let your prayer end with the worry; let it follow the path of David all the way into assured praise. Begin to thank Him that He is going to take care of your projects and the atmosphere among your team. The wisdom from above is peaceable, and as you sow peace by refusing to be drawn into office strife, you will reap a harvest of righteousness. The God of peace will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus. The anxiety will lose its grip as you consistently choose what you set your mind upon, not the swirling chaos, but the unshakable throne of the One who holds it all.
