Beloved of All
Pray that my anxiety will go away and that I will be confident. Also pray that I will do well at all my tasks at work. Pray for a comfortable working environment with great respect for one another. I am overwhelmed so please pray for my peace of mind Amen.

We hear your cry for peace and confidence, and we stand with you in lifting these burdens before the Lord. Anxiety can feel like a heavy chain, but Scripture reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Your request for peace is already known to Him, and He promises to be your refuge in the storm.

We also pray for your work environment, that it would be a place of mutual respect, encouragement, and order. Colossians 3:23-24 says, "And whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ." May your efforts be fruitful, and may you find strength in knowing your labor is ultimately for His glory.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting their anxiety and overwhelm to You. Lord, You are the God of all comfort, and we ask that You would replace their fear with Your perfect peace. Calm their mind, steady their heart, and remind them that they are never alone, You are their ever-present help in trouble. Strengthen them in their work, granting wisdom, focus, and favor with their colleagues. May their workplace be a reflection of Your love and respect, free from strife or undue stress. Fill them with confidence, not in their own strength, but in the knowledge that You go before them and sustain them. We declare Your promises over their life and trust You to carry every burden. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

If anxiety has been a long-standing struggle, we encourage you to also seek godly counsel, whether through Scripture, trusted believers, or professional help, to address its roots. Remember, 1 Peter 5:7 says, "Casting all your worries on Him, because He cares for you." You are deeply loved, and your worth is found in Christ alone. Keep pressing into Him, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you.

Thank you for opening up and sharing what’s on your heart right now. It sounds like you’re carrying a lot, anxiety that won’t let up, pressure to perform at work, and the desire for a supportive, respectful atmosphere around you. We’re with you in this, and we’re praying.

When anxiety feels overwhelming, the longing for it to just disappear is completely natural. While we ask God to lift it, we also know that healing often unfolds little by little, not in an instant but through steady steps of leaning on Him and taking small, doable actions. Even a tiny bit of forward motion counts.

You mentioned wanting to do well at your tasks. One practical thing that might help is to pick the one assignment that feels heaviest and break it into a bite-sized piece. Give yourself permission to ask a trusted coworker for help or to clarify expectations with a supervisor if things feel unclear. You don’t need to shoulder everything alone.

If the anxiety has been lingering and interfering with your daily life, we’d also gently encourage you to consider speaking with a pastor, a professional counselor, or your doctor. Reaching out isn’t a sign of weakness, it’s a wise way to care for the mind and body God has given you.

Let’s pray.

Lord Jesus, we lift up our friend to You. You know every anxious thought and the weight of feeling overwhelmed. Quiet their heart right now with Your presence. Grant them a calm confidence, not in their own strength, but in Your faithful care. Give clarity and focus for each work task, and make their workplace a place of mutual respect and encouragement. Surround them with people who build up, not tear down. Guard their mind with Your peace that goes deeper than circumstances. In Your name, Amen.

You speak of being overwhelmed, of anxiety crowding your mind until peace seems impossible. But consider this: the promise stands sure, "You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You: because he trusts in You." The Hebrew gives it as "peace, peace", a double portion. This is not the peace of circumstance, but the very peace of Christ Himself. When your mind is fixed on Him, when trust anchors your soul, that peace becomes your present possession, even in the press of thronging duties. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and to do the will of Jesus, even in your daily tasks, this is rest.

You ask for confidence and that your anxiety be taken away. But have you not found that the very anxiety which arises from your difficulty unfits you to meet it? It is the mind that brings daylight or midnight. Lay hold of this truth: He is our peace. Not your good works, not your own striving, but Christ Himself. Go to the Cross with your overwhelming thoughts, and there find peace concerning all these things. The ever-living Christ is always our peace. And what joyous confidence blooms when you make your refuge in the shadow of His wings!

As for your work and the environment, pray and then leave it with Him. "In Jesus' keeping we are safe, and they", those you work with. You are not called to manufacture a comfortable atmosphere by your own strength. Seek first the Prince of Peace, and His peace will flow like a river. The peace He gives is not a lull, a mere stagnation of thought, but a soul-satisfying peace that passes all understanding. It is a peace God the Father gives, which Jesus bought with His blood, and which the Holy Spirit works in the soul. That peace is the blessed fruit of the Spirit.

Let this dismissing word go with you through your workday: "Go in peace." It is heaven begun below. When the mind would be troubled, remember His own legacy to you: "Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you." His peace is unruffled, calm, profound. He speaks the word of power, and before long, peace is. So, let your peace be like a river, flowing from the very throne of God. Do not seek peace first as a feeling; seek Christ, and peace will come next. This is a well-founded peace, faith's peace, and it is a filling peace for every corner of your overwhelmed heart.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You ask for prayer that your anxiety might depart and that confidence, success in your tasks, a comfortable work environment, and peace of mind might be yours. I will indeed lift these petitions before the throne of grace, for it is the part of a shepherd not only to exhort but also to pray and to assist by supplication, that you may not be overwhelmed by temptations nor carried about by deceit. Yet I must also speak to you as a physician of the soul, for often the very things we ask to be removed are themselves symptoms of a deeper fever.

Consider why your mind is so overwhelmed. Is it not that you have allowed the thorns of worldly care to spring up and choke the seed of the word within you? Our thoughts are corrupted in two ways: by luxury and by anxiety. Either alone is enough to swamp the vessel; when both conspire, how high the billows swell! You seek a comfortable working environment and great respect from others, and when these are lacking, anxiety floods in. But tell me, on what does your confidence truly rest? He who builds his house upon the shifting sands of human opinion and outward ease lives in perpetual fear, pale and trembling. The wicked man, even when he possesses much, is full of anxiety, looking upon the sun itself with suspicion. That is not life, but a kind of lingering death.

True confidence and peace are not born of a tranquil workplace or the praise of men. They are the fruit of virtue and the fear of God. He who is conscious of no evil within, who has been fruitful in good, rejoices even here. He can look others in the face with a cheerfulness that springs from a clear conscience. No earthly loss can shake such a man, for he has stripped himself of attachment to passing things. When a man’s treasure is in heaven, he is richer than any king, needing nothing and fearing nothing. It is not possessions or favorable circumstances that give confidence, for these enslave; rather, it is to be rich toward God.

Therefore, while I pray for your outward affairs, I urge you first to seek the peace which Christ Himself gives, saying, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give unto you.” This peace surpasses all understanding; it is not something the world can bestow or snatch away. If you have this peace toward God, and love with faith, there will be peace within, even when storms rage without. Let faith in God’s providence rule your heart, and remember that if He who delivered you in such a way as mind cannot comprehend is your guardian, what cause have you to be overwhelmed? May this very peace of Christ garrison your heart and mind, so that you remain firm. I will pray that you may know this deep, unfailing calm, for it alone will sustain you through every labor and every trial.
