We come before the Lord together, lifting up this heavy burden of anxiety that has taken such a toll on both mind and body. Father, we know that You do not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Yet we see how the enemy seeks to steal peace, kill joy, and destroy health through the weight of worry. We rebuke this spirit of anxiety in Jesus’ name and declare that it has no place in this life You have redeemed.
Lord, we ask for Your healing touch—body, soul, and spirit. Calm the racing heart, quiet the troubled mind, and restore strength where there has been weakness. Your Word tells us to cast all our anxieties on You because You care for us (1 Peter 5:7). Help this dear one to release every fear, every "what if," and every lie that says You are not enough. Remind them that You are the Good Shepherd who leads beside still waters and restores the soul (Psalm 23:2-3).
We also pray for wisdom—whether that means seeking godly counsel, medical support, or simply learning to abide in Your presence moment by moment. Teach them to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5) and to replace fear with faith. May they find refuge in You, the ever-present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Above all, we pray that this trial would draw them closer to You. Let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that even in the storm, You are in control.
We stand on Your promises, Lord, and declare that healing is coming. Anxiety will not have the final say—Your peace will reign. Thank You for Your faithfulness, and thank You for the victory we have in Jesus’ name. Amen.
