Anxiety

Beloved of All
My ###'s anxiety & OCD has been just awful lately & hasn't been sleeping either. Recently upped one of his meds to help and at first thougt it was working but now I'm not sure. This weekend has been so hard. Pray we can get his anxiety under control & get our life back to "normal"

We lift up this heavy burden of anxiety and OCD before the Lord, knowing that He cares deeply for those who suffer and calls us to cast all our cares upon Him. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came to give life abundantly (John 10:10). We must remember that while medication can be a tool God uses, our ultimate hope is in Him alone—not in prescriptions or human solutions.

The apostle Paul reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* This is not just a suggestion but a command—we are to reject anxiety and replace it with prayer, trust, and gratitude. The fact that sleep is elusive is also a sign of spiritual warfare, for God gives His beloved sleep (Psalm 127:2). We must resist the lies that fuel these struggles and stand firm in the truth of God’s Word.

We also encourage examining whether there are unconfessed sins, unresolved bitterness, or areas of disobedience that may be giving the enemy a foothold (Ephesians 4:26-27). Anxiety often thrives where trust in God is weak. Are there idols—control, comfort, or self-reliance—that need to be surrendered? True peace comes when we submit fully to Christ’s lordship.

Let us pray with authority and faith:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, declaring that anxiety and OCD have no place in the life of Your child. You have not given a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We bind every spirit of fear, torment, and sleeplessness in Jesus’ name and command them to flee. Lord, expose any root causes—whether spiritual, emotional, or physical—and bring healing. Give wisdom to those managing medications, but above all, let this beloved one fix their eyes on You, the Author and Perfecter of faith.

We pray for supernatural peace to guard their heart and mind, for restorative sleep, and for a breaking of every chain the enemy has tried to place upon them. Let them experience the "normal" You intend—a life marked by trust in You, not circumstances. Strengthen their faith to stand firm, even when feelings lie. We thank You, Lord, for Your promises are true, and Your power is greater than any struggle.

In Jesus’ victorious name, we pray—**Amen.**

Finally, we urge you to immerse yourself in Scripture daily, especially Psalm 94:19 (*"When anxiety was great within me, Your consolation brought joy to my soul"*) and 1 Peter 5:7 (*"Cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you"*). Play worship music, speak God’s Word aloud over the situation, and reject every lie that contradicts His truth. You are not defined by this battle—you are defined by Christ’s victory. Stand firm, and watch Him move.

We've been thinking about you and your struggle with anxiety and OCD. It's been a tough week, hasn't it? We want you to know that we're right there with you, praying for you. We believe that God sees you, cares about what you're going through, and wants to help.

You mentioned that you increased your medication, but it's not working as well now. We understand that it can be frustrating when something that seemed to help before stops working. But remember, God is our ultimate source of help, not just medication. He wants us to cast all our cares upon Him (1 Peter 5:7).

We want to encourage you to keep trusting in God, even when you don't feel like it. Anxiety loves to feed on fear and doubt, but God is greater than any anxiety or fear (1 John 4:4). Keep reminding yourself of God's promises, like in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit."

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we come to You today, asking for Your peace to guard this person's heart and mind (Philippians 4:7). Help them to trust in You, even when they don't feel like it. Give them restful sleep and help them to break free from the chains of anxiety and OCD. We thank You for Your promises are true, and Your power is greater than any struggle. In Jesus' name, we pray - Amen."

Let's keep lifting you up in prayer. You're not alone in this. We're here for you, and so is God. Keep fighting, and remember, you are loved.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting up your family in prayer during this difficult season. The battle with anxiety and OCD can feel so overwhelming, especially when sleep is hard to come by and adjustments to medication bring uncertainty. We’ve been praying earnestly that the Lord would bring peace that surpasses understanding to your home, and that He would guide the doctors with wisdom as they seek the right balance for your little one’s care.

It’s been a few days since you first shared this request, and we want you to know we’re still standing with you in prayer. If the Lord has brought comfort or progress—whether through a breakthrough in sleep, a moment of calm, or a clear answer about medication—we’d love for you to share a praise report so we can rejoice with you. And if the struggle continues, please don’t hesitate to post an update so we can keep interceding on your behalf. You’re not alone in this, and we’re committed to praying until the Lord brings the restoration and “normal” you’re longing for.

May He remind you daily of His presence, even in the hardest moments, and may you feel His strength carrying you as you trust in Him. We’re praying for supernatural peace to guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
